2 orders of king crab for a total of 6 crab legs
Edward A.

Tourist trap. $100 will get you 3 small king crab legs with potatoes and corn. Not a very attentive wait staff. Friendly, but not attentive. And I think the calamari is not 100% real/authentic.

I ain't never in my 34 years of life been called the N word so mildly- very demure, very cutesy The overall experience was telling N go home. So boooom, we got seated now all of a suddenly our waitress went from white to black, uhhhh ok. Then it took sis forever and a day to take our order. We get our order the seafood I chose was disgusting, cold and old - like I was given an order that was sent back to the kitchen. On top of one of the items I ordered not being delivered and we were still charged for it (yay happy birthday to me- drove all the way here for bs) My cousins order came out wrong, how do you overcook salmon?? That bish was dried up My mother and little sisters order was ehhh ok I guess or they just humble Then we asked for them to sing happy birthday to me. Supposedly they did not have candles to top the cake- I was given hot ass strawberry on top of a stale corn bread. I ought to slap whoever ancestors thought up this disgusting ass combination.

Was our first time in Seattle and my wife and I wanted to take advantage of the abundance of seafood restaurants. A quick search on Yelp led me to the Crab Pot. We were offered the option to sit inside or outside on the dock and since it was a nice evening we decided to sit outside. The waiter was prompt and attentive. The beer was cold and the crab was seasoned to perfection! Unfortunate, I was so hungry I forgot to take more pictures of our meal!

This is a good restaurant to stop in for some good seafood! We ordered a half dozen raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and a crab boil. Everything was so yummy! The raw oysters were a bit in the smaller side, but the tasted very fresh. The oysters Rockefeller was bigger and so tasty with the toppings! The seafood boil we ordered had a variety of crabs and other seafoods. I enjoyed the food very much, but I did not like that a bowl was placed on the ground for all our shells from the seafood. I didn't like looking to the ground while I was actively trying to enjoy my food.

Service & Ambiance: 10/10. We sat at the top level next to the window view which was really nice. Salmon chowder: 6/10 I expected this to be like the Lowell's salmon chowder but instead it was a vegetable heavy soup which looked like it had a lot of oil. It looked really unappetizing, surprisingly it tasted not bad but also not that good. Seafood pasta: 10/10 creamy and delicious Snow Crab legs: 9/10. Taste-wise it was great but docked a point for the lack of proper equipment to break the crab legs. The mallet/hammer they give you is pretty useless. Pina Colada: 7/10 Maker's Mule: 5/10 Boozy Arnold: 9/10

We had a little bit of everything. Got the half order of shrimp, crab cakes, shrimp and crab dip, oysters on a half shell. And although most of it was pretty good there were some disappointing moments. Unfortunately the shrimp was so over cooked it was kind of mushy. And the dip was nothing special don't get me wrong it wasn't bad just kinda nothing special. Now on a good note the crab cakes were amazing!!! The pepper jelly they serve with it was delish. I don't eat oysters but my buddy thought they were yummy just a little small. Honestly I'd come back just to try some other options like the royal feast.

This weekend while venturing around Pike's Place in Seattle, my friend and I decided to grab lunch here at Crab Pot! Came here around 12:00pm and got seated near the window area. Very friendly service from the hostess down to our server. Place is spacious....feels like a rustic seaport -feel....lots of stuff made up of wood- goes well with the area and food! We ordered their bread and butter- which kicked us off on a great lunch start and for our main meals I ordered their seafood salad that was packed with crab meat, bay shrimp, and smoked salmon...so delicious and I feel two people could have shared this one dish. My friend ordered the clam chowder in a bowl....creamy, hearty soup full of flavor- yum! Definitely a place to try fresh seafood with variety of selections for everyone pick something they like!

Visited family in Seattle on a Sunday and this place was the only one that was left open in tourist area until 9 PM. It did not disappoint in having really good seafood. The portions were generous, and the staff is really nice. My dad is handicapped and they made sure to get us a good table for him to sit with his scooter. Our whole party was satisfied with our food. I recommend : Halibut tacos Scampi Fish and chips The food was very fresh and I love the theme. Great place for tourist to come and enjoy the fresh Washington seafood and views.

Crab pot

Here's a polished review you can post: My family and I visited The Crab Pot on Alaskan Way in Seattle on June 6 at approximately 8:30 PM. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and provided good service throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. We ordered the Crab Pot for Two, and everything was overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor. Considering the restaurant's reputation and pricing, we expected much better quality. The manager did remove half of the entrée from our bill, which we appreciated. However, it was disappointing that the manager never came to our table to discuss the issue or check on our experience personally. While the service from our waitress was pleasant, the poor food quality and lack of management engagement left a negative impression. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it will also be our last.

Visited Seattle with the family and went to this place to get some fresh seafood. The server was great, he made a few recommendations and answered all of our questions. The weather was nice so we were able to seat outside with a nice view of the Seattle Great Wheel. We wanted to avoid fried fish so we got the seafeast to share which comes with a variety of fresh seafood (salmon, crab, shrimp) and corn and potatoes. The feast is served directly on the table with butcher paper and they also give a bowl and place it on the floor for all trash and leftovers. We also tried the salmon filled with crab with potatoes, broccoli and carrots and it was delicious. The ambiance is family oriented and casual. Prices are average for the area so a great option for a nice stop to relax and eat next to the water.

Best place to enjoy seafood in Seattle. Quick service and decent price. The restaurant is big, minimal wait time even in the weekends. Watermelon margaritas is the best thing I've ever had The crab cakes were meh, but the cioppino was awesome, the seafood was fresh and flavorful

There's a little back story to this place My husband visited this place when we were dating 12 years back in 2013 and he kept telling about how good the fresh sea food was. So, this time along with me and kids we dined at this place. It's a little rustic, and old, can tell it's been there for years. We got a nice spot near the window overlooking the ferry. We ordered some beers and fresh watermelon margarita which was refreshing. The menu has really good seafood options. We went with snow crab legs which is served with corn cob and potatoes and shrimp with a spicy sauce. The service was quick, it was poured on the table and we had a good time breaking the crab and eating them up. The sea food was fresh but there was not much sauce or spices on them. I enjoyed the meal and had a good time with family. The pricing is a little on higher side considering it's fresh seafood. Overall a decent place and needs some upgrade.

This place was great! Slight language barrier w the staff which prevented us from getting exactly what we asked for But the food made up for it. The sourdough was incredible. The house salad and kind grab were also great. My guy loved the salmon. We'll be back if we're in town again

I go with my daughter and we always get two orders of snow crab legs, pound them together, and play the arcade. Love the cheesy oldies.

Where is the handicap parking? Nearest lot $85. For 3 hrs? Can't walk far and way too scary at night... we live in 98010 too far for uber$ and like to go to the market 1st or see a 5th avenue show before meal, too many uber$

This is just a suggestion, take an Uber, if you're close by, inexpensive, compared to a rediculous $85 for 3 hrs😒 😂😂😂🤜🤛👍

Can you make reservation or first come first serve?

They allow walk-ins only I believe.

Are you open on Thanksgiving day?

How to get a table without a reservation? What is the best way to be seated on Saturday night (party of 4)? I imagine that me and my family would come around 5pm and will wait in line to get a table for at least couple of hours? Someone please advise

Depends on what's going on. The Saturday we went back in June we got there about 5pm. There were a lot of people out and about. There were a couple of big concerts that night, one of them at Lumen Field. But there were 3 of us (got a 4-person table…

When will they reopen for dine in?

Currently open for dine in

If you do the seafeast, can you bring home the food you don't finish?

Yes you can take home left overs

What do you wear? Casual clothes or dress up?

Things you don't mind covering in the smell of seafood.

Can I order to go?

I'm sure you can but this is not the place you want to-go food. Dining here is all about the social and table experience. There are plenty of places that offer similar or same food that is better for take away that doesn't offer the experience of…

How many lbs of each variety of seafood are in each of the seafeasts?

That's the thing though - they do not give you the weight of the feasts. They just say how many it feeds. We were a group of 4 and we ordered the Alaskan and it was enough. I would say it was roughly around 8-10 lbs of everything included in the…

Do you offer peeled, deveined, and deheaded shrimp for your seafood pot packages?

De- headed, and de-veined, but not peeled.

It was like a casual, ceremonial date, so beautiful I couldn't resist taking a picture. The scene was as serene and warm as the sunset in the background. Meghan was in town though, and she found a lunch reservation. I was so nice to catch up in such a nice environment. The entrance is down a nice alley with a pink door. We sat in a room with a full wall of windows that looked out to Elliot Bay. We started with beverages. I had the watermelon margarita with tequila, freshly pressed watermelon, triple sec, and lime. It was yummy, light, and refreshing. It has a perfect balance of watermelon/ citrus/ sweetness. Meghan had the patio poppin' with vodka, Aveze, Prosecco, strawberry, and lemon. We know how I feel about a coup glass. The drink was good, but I am not a fan of vodka in my cocktails. I prefer a tequila base. We had the arancini which came with fried rice balls stuffed with caciocavallo, mozzarella and served atop a spicy Calabrian chili sauce. This was the moistest arancini I've ever had. Normally I'm not a cheese stuffed item person, but this one was a solid choice and solid execution. These are popular for a reason. The sauce is similar to a vodka sauce, and it was so yummy I could have drank it. As we walked in, we saw a few boxes of gorgeous heirloom tomatoes. As a result, we decided to get the caprese salad. The caprese came with organic heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, torn basil, ricotta salata, first pressed olive oil and Sicilian sea salt. I wish that there was more basil personally. This dish comes in two sizes: small= 3 slices of tomatoes and large= 5 slices. The dish was a good caprese, but I feel like it could have been leveled up by a fancier olive oil. The inclusion of flaky salt was a great call. Meghan and I split two mains that way we could sample more things. It came with fresh spinach pasta layered with besciamella, pesto, and topped with marinara sauce. I feel like it would made more sense to put a pesto on top of the lasagna, but that's my personal take. I to understand why they did marinara though. I love a pesto lasagna though, so there was none leftover. I thought it was kind of a small portion, but that's just me. For the second main, we had the bolognese. It came with a slow-simmered meat sauce and Parmigiano-Reggiano. Normally, pappardelle isn't my favorite pasta shape because it can be so thick. This one however, was paper thin. The sauce was creamy which actually worked so well. I wish there was more sauce, but I always think that. As a sweet treat, we had the strawberry shortcake with local strawberries, freshly whipped cream, and aged balsamico drizzle. The shortcake was served warm which was a great call. Perfect amount of strawberries. The shortcake is more of a biscuit than an actual angel food cake. Great meal all, and I would go back. The staff was kind, friendly, and attentive.

It's nice to watch the staff cook because it tells you that the food is fresh. I have high expectations for seafood in Seattle. However, I was disappointed with the scallops as it tasted raw and cool to the touch in the center.
