I got the Pan con Bistec sandwich and the ham croqueta. The Bistec meat was very tough and dry. The bread on the other hand was good, nicely toasted. It came with a side of spicy sauce which did help a little. Potatoes chips were not bad. Croqueta was good, inside has creamy potatoes. It came with a side of the sauce which was not necessary as it is good by itself. There is a display case with some delicious looking puff pastries. I may try them next time I'm in the area!

The food here... WOW! We ordered #20, #12 and #8. Delicious! The portions are not skimpy at all. The restaurant is very clean, including the restroom. The decor is original. The woman who served us was very sweet. We also found parking to be quite easy. My family wants to go back soon!

I ordered a Cuban sandwich #1 and guava pastry to go. Service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was nice and clean. Go check out the Cuban Hut, it's delicious!

Fun spot! Came here after I went to the dentist lol! Figured I would just grab a coffee. I've never had Cuban food before. I am so glad that the people that were already eating there told me how good it was! I ended up ordering the oxtail, Puerto Rican and Cuban Tamales. The oxtail came with rice and beans and I got a iced coffee. Everything was great! I want to try their garlic shrimp next time. I was not expecting there to be as good as flavor as there was! Everything was really good the coffee was lightly cinnamon flavor. My favorite was the Cuban Tamales. Definitely getting those moving forward from here. Great job and cool people! If you're there you can meet Poppy the owner! He is hilarious and super fun and you can hear that Cuban accent sounds like Andy Garcia :-) I also really enjoyed the music that they have playing it's very lively and even a couple was dancing

I absolutely can go on about this eatery. This spot is definitely a place for community to come together and have amazing traditional cuban dishes. The owners and workers are vibrant, communicative, and ready to serve. Beautiful murals across the walls and music that makes you want to dance. My team and I enjoyed everything about our meals and for some, was the first time trying cuban food. Amazing representation if you want to go the more authentic and traditional route.

Fried eggs, plantains, beans, chicharron and Inca cola. Be so for real! Amazing is an understatement! Clock that tea!!!

Every single item at this establishment is amazing. They play lively music that makes you want to stay there all day or get up and dance. Literally, my mouth waters thinking of their food

Number one the Owner super friendly, nice, and very personable. He makes you feel as if he has known you forever. Definitely family vibes when you walk in. Now lets get to the food. We love that it was home made and it felt like I was eating and my Aunts house fresh cuban food. Hot and ready to serve. My favorite thing was the pastelitos de carne. This was the main reason we stopped by to try this place and we came out trying other food and new foods. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon, not very busy and was helped immediately. We were also given a small sample of a green potato pork soup, which was delicious. Beans needed salt and my table had no salt/pepper shakers available. Both the lechon and chicharones plates were delicious. Potato balls were small and sadly over fried, but very flavorful. Great Latin music playing in the background. The owner is very friendly. We definitely will come back and try other things on the menu. Potato balls arrived to the table late, so no picture available. Before leaving, we couldn't resist trying one of their homemade pastries. If you haven't tried their guava and cheese pastry, it will not disappoint!

Recently stopped in to try this hidden Gem. I have to say I'm very happy I did. The food was very flavorful and the ambiance delivered by Gio and the staff was very welcoming. It's a place you want to stop in to enjoy some food and feel at home. I will definitely come back and bring friends. Stop in and have some good food. If you don't like it reach out to me and I'll cover your tab . If you like flavor you will like it here.

The shop ordered lunch for the crew today and we landed on Cuban. I got the King Cuban sandwich with fried plantains. All our orders arrived correctly. The sandwich was stuffed with so much meat that was so tasty. The plantains were delicious as well. I would order this again.

Holy moly... what a find! This place truly is a gem! Let's start off with the pros The food is absolutely insanely delicious! I'm not even being nice enough saying that. I was in awe of the sandwich, soup, and empanada. The service.. don't get me started. The owner is absolutely awesome! This is the type of owner that brings the right type of ambience. This is now one of my fav spots. Highly recommended

I ordered the Cuban sandwich and really enjoyed it great flavor and perfectly toasted bread. Next time I might go for the Cuban King to level it up. And the sauce was absolutely amazing!

We waited another 50 mins before I asked for an update after waiting for more than 80 mins, Cas came out of the kitchen and snapped at me saying "what's the problem here?" So I said "well I'm just asking for a status of my order." First of all, I wasn't even talking to Cas and she didn't even know what was going on before she took it upon herself to yell at me. Kila, which was the person I was talking to originally was extremely friendly. She apologized for the delay and even offered us some pastry which we did not care for after Cas inserted herself into a conversation that had nothing to do with her. It's ironic how as a paying customer, I was using a polite voice to ask for status and got snapped at by an employee. Got our refund and took our business elsewhere. There are plenty of options here in old town Temecula.

I visit Havana Grill whenever I want some tasty oxtail.  I noticed oxtail was one of the specials.  Last time I visited the oxtail was on the regular menu and you could order it anytime. Oxtail was extremely tender and juicy.  The mix of beef flavor and the spices in the sauce were delicious.  This is my favorite oxtail dish in town. French fries were crisp and had a delicious fried flavor.  The oil was fresh and there was no aftertaste.  Excellent fries. Pineapple upside down cake was dense and did not have a fresh baked aura.  The outside part was starting to harden like it was getting stale so I guess it was baked at least a day ago.  Cake had a mostly mild flavor.  I didn't taste the pineapple though the top was lined with it.  I did taste a ton of ginger flavor.  It appears pieces of ginger were mixed in with the pineapple.  I love ginger as part of soy/ginger seasoning for fish but not in a cake.  This is one of the worst pineapple upside down cakes I have had.  My favorite is at Roy's where you have to give them 30 minute notice and they bake it to order.  Roy's version was piping hot out of the oven, was moist and fluffy, with amazing pineapple flavor. Staff provided fast and friendly service.

Well, Peruvian Fuego did not reach that. Our waiter and staff was excellent and attentive, which was pleasing. And the patio was nice, although the music was a bit loud. We ordered empanadas and two chickens. The empanadas were tasty. A bit different in texture than what I'm used to, but the filling was nice....beef, onions, raisins. But the chicken? Even though these were supposedly smoked, I smelled only the faintest of smoke. The birds had ZERO juiciness, although they were reasonably tender. I guess I got used to that huge rotating rotisserie at the place I mentioned in Los Angeles with 100 birds going at any time, so what you got was right out of the fire. Here, the chicken tasted it it may have been very lightly smoked and then reheated a day or two later. That may or may not be the case, but It just wasn't special. It was marginally better than El Pollo Loco. Update: 1 day later after being in the fridge, I could taste the smokiness much more prominently. I shredded the remaining chicken (breasts and wings), simmered it in lime juice and chicken brothn to make it tender, and had it in tacos. Delicious! The rice was good. The salads ok--fresh but not really dressed. I didn't like their aji. I'd like to try some other items. They have a nice full Peruvian menu. But all in all, the food I had didn't grab me enough to make me want to come running back.

It wasn't a very busy evening, there were only a few other patrons at the time so we were able to get nice seats looking out towards the beach. My friend and I each ordered a cocktail that was cute but weren't amazing flavor wise. I had decided some fish tacos sounded great for dinner and found out that they were actually on special for taco Tuesday, score! $6 each, don't mind if I do. The tacos were delicious and refreshing, 2 was the perfect amount for me. My friend opted for the poke bowl which she said she enjoyed but it did have quite a bit of spice so be aware. This was such a cute spot I loved the ambience and I will be back, maybe try a different drink next time.

This place kind of feels like a group of girls were sitting at a bar one night and decided how cool…read moreit would be to open their own place. And honestly, that would be cool if the flow was there, but you can kind of tell that all the ideas aren't fully there yet. For starters, the drinks are expensive, which I get because you're in Oceanside by the beach and I'm sure rent isn't cheap. But man, I paid $18 for a coffee-style cocktail and it was pretty bad. They put this whipped cream on top that just didn't work with the drink and was actually pretty nasty. They definitely put alcohol in it, which was good I guess, but overall it was probably one of the worst cocktails I've had in a while. My wife and I also walked up to the bar and waited to be attended. One of the waitresses was busy cleaning and organizing things, going back and forth from inside to outside, while another waitress was socializing with a group of guys for probably 6-7 minutes before noticing us standing at the front of the bar. I really don't mind waiting, but when you combine that with the quality of the drinks and the lack of attention, it just makes it seem like no one really cares that much. That's kind of why I made the comment in the beginning. The place has a cool idea behind it, but you can tell it's missing some of the professionalism and attention to detail that comes with running a good bar. The one thing that really saves this place is the view. It's a really nice view, and during sunset I can definitely see why people come here. Other than that though, I personally wouldn't spend my money here again.
