I'm actually blown away by how good the soft serve is here. I was very skeptical at first, especially when I saw that the soft service was 95% fat free. I have no idea how they get their soft serve so creamy, but it is everything I've been looking for in a soft serve. Most ice cream places serve soft serve that is either icy or lacking in flavor. Seriously, the only thing to not love about the Dairy Corner is the fact that everybody else loves it too, lol, so the lines are sometimes crazy. The chocolate peanut butter swirl ice cream and the grapenut ice cream and the chocolate chip ice cream are my favorites around. The prices are fair and the servings are worth it! There is something truly magical about small Maine ice cream shops in the summer, and Dairy Corner really shines at what it does. Lines can get long on hot summer nights. Like, 20-30+ minutes. It's a fun, social line though, just plan accordingly. The ice cream is killer and there's so. many. flavors. They also have dairy free/vegan options and sugar free/low carb options. They also have chocolate covered frozen bananas - a favorite healthy option of mine! They DO accept cards and prices are reasonable for the MASSIVE scoops. Seriously, a small is like 3 scoops at another place. My absolute favorite flavor is honey graham explosion. You pretty much can't go wrong here. The mint ice cream is pretty heavy on the extract, for those that steer clear of that flavor. read more

Crowds outside so I had to pull in and see what the fuss was about. Well to say I discovered a great little ice cream stop and ordered peppermint and mint Chocolate chip. I ordered large and the meant large as it was huge. Had to eat it in the parking lot because you can't eat this huge cone easily. Next time I will try soft serve because it was even bigger than my cone. The staff at the window was wonderful and I would call this a must stop if nearby. read more

Some are bad, most are decent and once in a while you find one very, very special. The Dairy Corner is one of those special places. It's been around for quite a while and it never seems to change. An occasional new, funky and weird flavor but still the same look, same scream and I swear, the same people. Actually that's not surprising because this place is so good that everyone that happens to be in Scarborough probably stops here. The lines get long but most people are friendly and pleasant and the nonstop and interesting conversations make the waiting pleasant. The menu is vast with all kinds of different options. I cant even begin to describe all the different and cool things they sell. I have seen people standing on the side for a long time deciding what to get. Doesn't really matter because everything here is great. They even have some picnic tables and chairs outside on the lawn so you can enjoy your scream outside.
