This is a great local hangout! We tried the Caprese and Harry's Pizza Pie which were yummy! We caught happy hour, and I thoroughly enjoyed the 90505, which is their version of an Old Fashioned. Came here last night for live music since one of the bands is from my area! The End has amazing local craft beer on tap and in cans. The End is a great local spot with awesome cocktails, craft beer on tap, and a thoughtful menu. The food is selective and done well, and the food is always top notch. It's appealing because it's definitely a local as well and I always feel like everyone knows everyone and is welcoming. The owner, Jason knows everyone, stops by and says hello, checks on his patrons and wants everyone to have a great time. I'm impressed with the rotating draft beer list, and also the attention to detail on the cocktails which are made from scratch and of superior quality. The wife and I love it. The kids love it. I stumbled upon this place on a random Tuesday evening and it turns out they have karaoke every Tuesday - and I LOVE karaoke! This is a great spot in general, but the giant stage and lights and smoke machine really make you feel like a rockstar. (I think they have bands and live music most other nights) - plus the owners come out of the kitchen and from behind the bar and get up on stage and sing as well. I saw them do a duet rendition of Endless Love that I will never forget. Lol. So, if you like to sing karaoke, it's an awesome spot and night to get lots of turns to sing whatever you want in a super fun on a cool stage with a super supportive and fun and neighborhood bar crowd. Also, the food is ridiculous. The brisket legit melts in your mouth. Highly recommend! read more

I'm going to give you 5 stars since you are in the neighborhood, the service was good, and the drinks were ok. I like how you opened up the place and let some light in, I think that will work well for you. The TVs seem to be placed in the right area to watch game. The pizza was ok, however I think sauce could have used some fresh garlic, oregano, and cilantro to spice it up. I feel if you add these ingredients you will have better feedback and returning customers. Also, the ones we took to go were a bit over cooked and the cheese one was very thin and hard. You have got to start ordering Jamison and Jack Daniels I was kinda shocked you didn't have these. Alternative options you had were a bit pricy. I'm sure there is a lot things to figure out and try so hopefully the longer you stay in business the better things will get for you. Being a Hey 19 fan we were excited to try The End. The service was great. The food was merely okay. Small portions & expensive. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who went on an awkward rant about how he hated being associated with Hey 19. As a fan of the prior establishment to occupy the space this definitely rubbed me the wrong way. Needless to say I don't anticipate returning anytime soon due to the quality of the food, small sizes, expensive prices, tiny drinks and owner who seemed out of touch with the patrons. read more

Fantastic place! So glad we discovered it - the owners, Harry and Jason. They are so friendly, the place is nice and light and doors were open - we really felt at home. The food was all delicious - I thought it was going to be junky pub food, but not at all - what Jason created were little masterpieces, which went well with the art on the walls. They have a nice stage too and have live bands (80s, etc.), there is also a karaoke night, and comedy night and I believe they have jazz too. I think they have done an excellent job on the place and look forward to going back. I thought the prices were reasonable too. read more

Food is great. A lot more than just the bar-food staples, but all the classics are done awesome as well. Haven't had anything that I didn't like. Staff is super attentive and friendly. Lots of events weekly from bands to stand-up to UFC watch-parties. Will be here weekly for the New York Giants games. read more

I have been coming to this location for years, including when it used to be Hey 19. The End seems to have gone downhill the last three or four times that I was there. I made a table reservation near the stage for Friday and when I arrived, the tables were all full and they failed to put a reserved sign on the table as they used to do. We were seated at a different table and as we waited for the other two people in our party to arrive, two different employees tried to take away the two extra stools after we told them we we were waiting for two more people. The first waiter who took our drink order, said we had to leave a credit card for a tab, even though we were having dinner there, which they didn't do in the past. Then a second waitress who picked up after the first, said she couldn't find our tab and that we need to start another tab. She had zero personality and didn't seem to know the menu very well. The food was OK, but the service was terrible, including having to flag the waitress down in order to place our food order after waiting about 30 minutes. Then after the meal was eaten, the dirty plates stayed on the table for about another 30 minutes before they were cleared. The quality of staff and food seems to have declined so we may not be going back. read more

Our band The Summerheat Band performed there on Dec 9th it was the best place we ever played at the food was so delicious we couldn't stop eating the atmosphere was so pleasant we had the best time ever! The owner Harry was walking around helping and talking to everyone making them fill like home . The service was right on we plan on playing there again next year for sure you all need to stop by for a beer some time!! read more

Don't get food here. The prices for the quality and quantity is laughable. We went with a group of friends and tried the following: 1. Caprese Salad: $13 for a tiny portion. (four slices each of tomato and cheese) 2. Onion rings: $14 for a tiny plate, TINY 3. Tacos: completely underwhelming, they don't even serve any salsa with it. 4. Pizza: burnt and tiny. But at least $10~ for a margarita pizza is reasonable even though, again not very good. I don't understand this. The place isn't cute. It's a dive bar / sports bar, not in a fun/desirable location. I truly think the restaurant owners need to recognize who they are and rethink their menu offerings. If one finds themself a dive bar in the first place, it's to watch sports and get good, greasy, or large sized portions for a decent price. That's the universally understood trade-off for sitting in a dingy-ass bar in the middle of a liquor store parking lot on the crappy side of Torrance. So how they justify these prices is beyond me. Next up, they keep redoing the menu but this time around they took the descriptions off the cocktails. I get they're trying to be cute and funny but if you prefer to drink a certain alcohol I want to know if my cocktail has tequila or vodka or what in the world is inside of it LOL. The restaurant owner seems like a nice guy, and he does come around to check on tables and they are clearly trying. However they are totally missing the mark and trying to be some kind of fancy restaurant that they are very much definitely not. Again I would very much stress, the taste of the dishes and size of the portions compared to the pricing are absolutely not worth it. Be warned. read more

Super disappointing and tacky experience. They try to charge you $10 a head after you order your drinks with no signage and no one at the door. We are locals and our first couple of times here were great, but the last time we came we stopped in to have a drink at the bar. My husband ordered our drinks while I caught up with some old friends I spotted across the place. When I came back my husband was annoyed because he said he ordered our drinks and then after the bartender took our order, she tried to charge us $10 each for the band that was just starting. My husband pointed to the door and acknowledged there was no one at the door and no sign saying it was $10 a head to come in. Furthermore, we had already ordered our drinks. Then the other bartender came up and started getting really aggressive with my husband and seemed like he was almost picking a fight with my husband. We told him we wouldn't pay the delayed cover and we said we would have our drink and then leave. After he walked away, I told the other bartender that I felt really bad for them that the owner has such a terrible business strategy and instead of paying a doorman, he has his bartenders shakedown the customers at the bar after they order. We stayed for one drink and left. I just spoke with some other local friends and three out of the five couples said they had the same experience!!! That's why I decided to write this review. If they are going to charge for the band, they need to do it at the door. With the kind of tacky service we received, this place will be added to the lengthy list of bars that have shutdown over the several decades I have lived here. read more

We'd been warned about small portions here, but had honestly forgotten about it until our dinner came. I see what others are saying about it being pricey for what you get, but to tell you the truth, I think the issue is plating and presentation. The sandwich we tried was delicious, as were the tacos. We even tried a pizza for the heck of it, and weren't disappointed. I really think the kitchen needs to add some garnishes, throw some chips on plates, that sort of thing. The cocktail program seems solid, too. Their barrel-aged drinks aren't the typical overpriced garbage where you get charged for an "Old Fashioned" that's dispensed out of a decanter that's been sitting behind the bar for who knows how long. We found the staff pleasant and welcoming, as well. We won't rush back, but will probably duck in again eventually. Maybe The End will have ironed things out by then. read more

Super fun place. My BF and I went on a Sunday. They open early on Sunday. We had good food. Great and quirky service. Which I love. The music was really for younger people. Played by talented young musicians. But we love new experiences. Good that this place is giving a younger crowd somewhere cool and safe to hang out. Like or don't like the music. Passed by this place a few times and finally decided to stop in and give it a go. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The atmosphere was very relaxed, casual and the drinks were amazing, but the food! The food did not disappoint in any way. Delicious, thoughtful, and just about everything is made in house. Jason and Peter showed such wonderful hospitality and will treat you like old friends. I went a week ago for the first time. There were 7 people at the bar and two tables with 2 people at each. Since no one was at the hostess station my friend and I sat ourselves. We started looking at the drink menu first. No waitress / waiter ever came over. Bartender looked at me but did nothing. After 10 min the waiter appeared and brought food to the table next to us. He glanced our way but did not acknowledge us. At the 15 min mark I looked at the bartender who was doing shots with the bar patrons. It was at that point we walked out. Now maybe they were understaffed, maybe they only had one waiter that night but all they needed to do was acknowledge us and say I'm the only one working tonight. I'll get with you soon and that would've been fine. I don't understand why the bartender couldn't have come over and asked us if we wanted to drink. Will not be going back. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised by the fun ambience at karaoke night. Definitely recommend the Less than Zero cocktail, it's on the sweeter side but still delicious.
