    Fried chicken momo
    Shocked A.

I was the second in line and ordered fried chicken momo. I personally did not like it. It didn't taste like chicken but it was fresh. There was a couple benches available and the workers seemed nice.

This was my first time trying a momo (Nepalese steamed filled dumpling with a dipping sauce) and it was delicious! We ordered the pan-fried chicken momos ($13/10 pieces) which came hot & crispy with 2 different dipping sauces that really made it taste like Nepalese cuisine. We also ordered the chili chicken with rice which came with a decent portion of chicken (with a slight kick) and a large side of basmati rice. Overall, the price was great given the amount of food we got. So if you're looking for a casual food truck experience or late night snack, I recommend coming here! Note: There's multiple "The Everest Momo" food truck locations...I recommend double checking the location you're driving to and making sure they're open since we may or may not have driven to multiple closed locations before coming here...

I LOVE IT HERE!! You wouldn't think that their momos would be all that great considering that they are a food truck, but let me tell you, you're absolutely incorrect. Their momos had amazing filling and wasn't too doughy. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back ASAP!

Omg boug me would never consider this lil food truck at a gas station to be good but WOW. After having a terrible experience at a supposedly expensive place im learning just cos somethings expensive dont mean it good. Customer service was great! PRO TIP: order directly on their website to get the SAME prices as ordering in person. I ordered ahead in the morning right when i woke up bc all i wanted were these momo's since the night before. It said it would be ready at 1pm so u gots to be a little patient! I got to walk over from Santana and so quick. I only had to wait a couple mins bc i knew they were fresh fresh and i got my Chai Masala ready with adding the sugar in the meantime. Got home, dipped these hot steaming puppies in the exquisite sauces and WOW mouthgasm of flavor!! I actually really like the veg one a tad bit more than the chicken but i was convinced by another reviewer to also try the chicken hence i got the Half-Half which is perfect but got to say both are juicy, stuffed with filling, and perfect flavoring!! I love me some hot sauces too!! They gave me two yay!! Def recommend to try this place out!!

Loved the proximity to santana row (walking distance) and same quality of A+ chicken momos!! They have lots of parking spots and some shack style outside seating too . The service was friendly and the online ordering was fab. We loved their chicken momos ($12 for 10 pcs) and definitely ask for extra orange sauce. Its so good!

Chicken Kothey (Pan Fried Momo) 10 Pcs

Ordered the Chicken Kothey, and really enjoyed the combo of the crispy edges, juicy inside, and flavorful orange sauce. I tried the chicken momo as well, steamed only version, but it wasn't as exciting without the panfried crisp. We also ordered the chili chicken over rice which was solid but didn't have anything to write home about. Service was speedy and the vibes were as good as expected at an old gas station parking lot with a tent, two tables and some chairs. Overall, this was one of the less wallet damaging food spots in the immediate Valleyfair/Santana Row area. So if you're looking for some good food to tie you over while you walk through the mall, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Ordered online, drove down to pick up the food, and the food truck was not there. Not exactly the best experience...

I've had the chicken momo as well as the spicy fried rice from Everest Momo. The chicken momo is my go-to order. The chicken momo comes with 10 pieces of dim sum that is served with chili sauce and a Smokey Indian sauce that makes my taste buds water every time. It's a decent portion for the price. The truck they work out of can be deceiving. The cooks are in a janky trailer located in a closed down gas station parking lot. They provide tables and chairs to eat on.

This place is so good! I was weary because of a food truck (not quality) but consistency of if they'd actually be there the hours listed and it's TRUE. I live across the street and they honor their listed hours. I usually get the chicken fried rice or lo mein which are made fresh, very hefty portion (always leftovers) and good value (~$10). The food is excellent and never have to wait more than ten minutes. Just saw a sign they opened their 8th location!

Very very poor experience. Got chicken chow mein when placing online order for vegetarian chow mein. Initially I thought its mushroom and continued eating the noodles keeping the chicken aside. Later husband pointed out it's not mushroom or ginger. Confirmed with the store that it was in fact chicken but it was too late. We are pure vegetarian. Very disappointed and never ever ordering from these guys again. Even though they were prompt to refund

Parking was limited but quite easy to find. It's located in the parking lot of a gas station. It wasn't hard to find. I ordered Chili chicken (5/5): shockingly spicy! It's hidden spiciness stealths itself well behind the flavor. It's slow and strong. Chicken fried rice (5/5): the small grains of rice and tender chicken pieces make it easy to digest allowing for maximum flavor. Chicken momo (5/5): steamed to perfection. Everything from the filling to the skin had a beautiful texture and flavor. The skin wasn't dry whatsoever and the filling was well balanced in terms of flavor. Google/apple pay is accepted here. Overall Everest Momo is a great place to get some fried rice and dumplings (indian fusion). Highly recommended and I would definitely come back here. Keep up the awesome food!

This is gonna be my go to spot for Momo's and lo mein. Its so delicious and fresh and it's made by order. I felt the flavors were strong and authentic. They do have a small table and a tent to sit but it was raining. They do take apple pay and deliver through door dash. My favorite is chicken momo and chicken lo mein it was more than enough for two people. They provide you with a lot of sauces. A yellow sauce thats mild and a hot sauce. I really liked the place and the people working there were so nice

They're upholstered in fabric that looks pretty old and worn, which takes away a bit from the otherwise comfortable dining space. That aside, my husband and I really enjoyed the two dim sum dishes we ordered: siu mai and har gow. The har gow in particular was delicious. This is one of those dishes that can easily taste a little "boring" when it's not done well, but Sifu Wong nails all the flavor components. You get the sweetness of the shrimp along with sesame oil and ginger, all wrapped in that perfectly delicate, translucent wrapper. The siu mai was also solid and something I'd happily order again. The half duck was an unbeatable deal at around $24. It comes with that familiar savory sauce you typically get when ordering roast duck from a Chinese grocery store or specialty shop, and for the portion and price, it's hard to complain. We also tried the beef chow fun with black bean sauce, which was a little different from the standard beef chow fun I usually order. It's lighter in color with a wetter, saucier texture, but still tasted good nonetheless. I enjoyed it, although I'd probably stick with the traditional beef chow fun next time. Overall, Sifu Wong serves up solid, satisfying Chinese food at reasonable prices with plenty of variety on the menu. There are already a few dishes I'd happily order again, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of their dim sum offerings.

We actually watched the World Cup final here and the atmosphere was awesome. The dim sum is traditional Hong Kong style, and the quality is definitely there. You definitely need to get the Black Gold Salty Egg Yolk Buns. They look cool with the black and gold style, and the molten salted egg yolk center is perfectly rich without being overly sweet. The Lychee Shrimp Balls are super unique too; they look exactly like real lychees on the outside but are stuffed with a snappy shrimp paste that isn't greasy at all. For the classic stuff, the Har Gaw and Siu Mai hit the spot--the skins hold up well without tearing and the pieces are nice and plump. The Baked BBQ Pork Buns are also great, with that crispy, sweet polo-style topping and a good amount of savory pork filling inside. Service can be a little slow on busy weekends since the place gets packed with families, but the staff keeps the kitchen moving as fast as they can. If you want high-quality Cantonese comfort food, excellent dim sum, and a great space to catch a game, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

That said, it would have been nice if they had actually announced what dishes we were getting. Even though their parking lot had a lot of cars, it's so big that there're still plenty of spaces. Their inside was huge as well. Because of the high ceiling, it didn't feel too crowded, even though it was packed. They had a lot of servers, too, though getting the attention of one took a while. Our server highly recommended their sea bass 2 ways (congee and chow fun) on their daily special menu. We would have ordered that if they still had fish at ~2lb, but they only had fish at ~3lb, which would be too big for us, as we would like to order some dim sum as well. So, we just ordered from their dim sum menu. The 2 different house teas we ordered came out pretty quickly, but it took a while for the food to come. The Sauteed Turnip Cake in XO Sauce was the dish I liked the most. It could still use more XO sauce, though. Pork & Crab Roe Siu Mai was gigantic; taste was normal. I wished they had chili sauce at the table. We're too busy catching up and didn't bother to flag down someone to get some. The Fried Bean Curd Skin Roll w/ Shrimp was not bad, just a bit oily. The Fried Chinese Donut Wrapped in Rice Noodle w/ Dried Shrimp was on point; it came with a peanut sauce on the side. The Chicken Feet w/ Black Bean Sauce were well cooked and off the bones. The Salted Egg Yolk Lava Black Bun wasn't too sweet; the inside was more runny than we expected. We're already stuffed after having 6 dim sum dishes. Overall, dim sum was solid, but on the more expensive side. In my opinion, their system for waiting for tables is a bit chaotic. They do not ask for your phone number; instead, they print out a receipt with a number and call it out when your table is ready. There is a monitor inside the restaurant that you can watch, but since it's so crowded and the way the system is displayed on the screen, it's kind of hard to tell what is going on or what your status is. Service-wise, it's exactly what you would expect from any Chinese restaurant serving dim sum, if you know what I mean. :) Inside, the restaurant is very spacious and large, and I am assuming the reason for the long wait is that it's one of only two places to get dim sum in Milpitas (the other being Mayflower in the other highly packed plaza nearby). They do not serve dim sum with the traditional cart system where dishes are rolled around the dining room. Instead, you order from a menu and mark down how many quantities you want of each item. My family got a variety of dishes, but I'll call out some notable ones: * Their shu mai was juicy and packed with meat, probably one of the best shu mai I've had in the South Bay. * Their har gow skin broke apart really easily, which bummed me out, but it was generously stuffed with shrimp. * My favorite dish was their purple rice rolls. It was basically a Chinese donut stuffed with shrimp and wrapped in a purple glutinous rice roll. * The chicken feet were very balanced and not too sweet. * The truffle scallop dumpling had a rich mushroom flavor, and the scallop added a nice flavor profile. * The BBQ pork was coated well with the char siu sauce. It was tender and bold in flavor. Overall, my experience here was great, but I do not think it warranted more than a 30-minute wait. The food also came out a bit slowly in my opinion, but that was probably due to the high volume of people.
