Excellent food. Didn't know what to expect as I have never had Napal Everest food. So I ordered 3 different things (chicken chow mein, chicken fried rice and chicken fried momo). Each reasonably priced and huge quantity meaning enough for 2 or more. I love the jalapeño peppers added. Freshly made and delicious. It was even good the next day. Comfortable seating and table while waiting for my food. Open air and not much ambiance. Which is the only reason for a score of 4 instead of 5. Very tasty. read more

This was my first time trying a momo (Nepalese steamed filled dumpling with a dipping sauce) and it was delicious! We ordered the pan-fried chicken momos ($13/10 pieces) which came hot & crispy with 2 different dipping sauces that really made it taste like Nepalese cuisine. We also ordered the chili chicken with rice which came with a decent portion of chicken (with a slight kick) and a large side of basmati rice. Overall, the price was great given the amount of food we got. So if you're looking for a casual food truck experience or late night snack, I recommend coming here! After having a terrible experience at a supposedly expensive place im learning just cos somethings expensive dont mean it good. Customer service was great! PRO TIP: order directly on their website to get the SAME prices as ordering in person. I ordered ahead in the morning right when i woke up bc all i wanted were these momo's since the night before. It said it would be ready at 1pm so u gots to be a little patient! I got to walk over from Santana and so quick. I only had to wait a couple mins bc i knew they were fresh fresh and i got my Chai Masala ready with adding the sugar in the meantime. Got home, dipped these hot steaming puppies in the exquisite sauces and WOW mouthgasm of flavor!! Ordered the Chicken Kothey, and really enjoyed the combo of the crispy edges, juicy inside, and flavorful orange sauce. I tried the chicken momo as well, steamed only version, but it wasn't as exciting without the panfried crisp. We also ordered the chili chicken over rice which was solid but didn't have anything to write home about. Service was speedy and the vibes were as good as expected at an old gas station parking lot with a tent, two tables and some chairs. Overall, this was one of the less wallet damaging food spots in the immediate Valleyfair/Santana Row area. This place is so good! I was weary because of a food truck (not quality) but consistency of if they'd actually be there the hours listed and it's TRUE. I live across the street and they honor their listed hours. I usually get the chicken fried rice or lo mein which are made fresh, very hefty portion (always leftovers) and good value (~$10). Good spot if you're craving momos, I like that they're across from Santana row and valley fair mall so it's a quick grab if you're in the area. All their momos are great, I like the fried ones more than the steamed momos, and the fried ones pair well with their spicy sauce! I have tried Everest Momo on multiple locations, and this is the first time I tried this location. The food was the worst. I ordered Vegetable Chow Mein. The noodles were extremely salty and extremely dry. As if that was not enough, my order was for Medium spicy, but they made it very very spicy. I felt like I was just eating too much black pepper and too much salt on a very dry noodles. I grew up eating spicy food, but event I couldn't handle the heat. It's hidden spiciness stealths itself well behind the flavor. It's slow and strong. Chicken fried rice (5/5): the small grains of rice and tender chicken pieces make it easy to digest allowing for maximum flavor. Chicken momo (5/5): steamed to perfection. Everything from the filling to the skin had a beautiful texture and flavor. The skin wasn't dry whatsoever and the filling was well balanced in terms of flavor. Google/apple pay is accepted here. Went to Everest Momo as I was craving some yummy Nepalese food and this place seemed close by with some yummy food. This is a food truck near a gas station but really hit the spot as the food was awesome. I ended up calling before going so only had to wait about 5 mins before getting the food. I ended up ordering: *chicken momos- this was delicious and what I loved more was the red and orange sauce it came with! It was the best pairing *veg momos - this was stuffed with paneer and veggies and also a hit, very flavorful for veg momos from what I've tried *veg fried rice- this was my least fave because the rice was a bit hard and overall didn't enjoy the flavor *chciken noodles - I loved this! I discovered this food truck one day near a gas station at Santana Row and let me tell you it was the best food truck I have ever been to, since then I have been here at least five times consistently and the food has been great. The portions are huge enough to feed two people for two days. And the last thing the cost is so so low where my order of chicken chow mein and chili chicken and chicken Momos only costs $30 all together. My friend and I were walking by Santana Row when we started feeling hungry but not enough for a big meal. We decided to try Everest Momo because I never had momos before! And man, have I been missing out! This food trunk is located in a small gas station. There is limited parking but it seemed like people were constantly coming and going so parking wasn't really an issue. There was also a tent with a few tables present! It was a hot day so we were very grateful to have seating and just relax in the shade while waiting for our momos. We needed up ordering pan-fried vegetarian momos for $12.57. We got roughly 10 with a red and orange sauce. They were great, especially for a light meal!! They were the perfect texture; slightly crispy on the outside and the veggie stuffing oozing out with every bite! The flavor of the momo itself was slightly bland but with the sauces, it balanced out well. I was also grateful the staff didn't skimp on the stuffing; the momos were stuffed to the max! I came here since I was going to watch a movie nearby, and I've been recommended this place a few times. I've never had momos either, so I wanted to try it out. We got here right when it opened (and we double checked with them that it was open). We got the Chicken Momo, Chicken Kothey, Chicken Chow Mein, and the Lime Soda. It was nice that they had a few tables and chairs set up under some shade, but it took a long time for our food to come out. It took about 35 minutes for the momos and kothey to come out (though maybe it finished sooner and they didn't give it to us), and another 5-10 minutes for the chow mein to comen out. They also didn't give us the lime soda until about the same time as the chow mein. This caused us to be almost late to the movie, so we didn't really get to try the food until after it finished. The momos were pretty good, decent dumplings with a nice chutney sauce. I couldn't really tell the difference with the kothey since they got soggy at that point, but my friend who tried them right when they came out said they were pretty good too. I wish there were more chicken in the chow mein, but it was a pretty decent one. The soda was interesting, but not super great warm and flat. Overall, if it weren't for the long wait, I would say this was a decent place. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe we came before they opened or they had a big order that day, but I'm not sure if I would come here again. read more

Absolutely amazing!! My mom and I came by and got the chicken Momo, veggie Momo, and chicken chow mein and it was all amazing! You get a great amount of food for your money, we split everything and have about 5 momo left over and roughly have the chicken chow mein. Personally when I return I will likely order the chicken chow mein and chicken momo but likely hold off on the veggie momo as I liked the other two more (not that the veggie momo were bad- they were very good). Completely blown away by this food truck!! I'll definitely be back often. The man who took our order was so incredibly friendly. The food was great value and extremely tasty. Loved the masala chai as well. The truck was parked at a clean and safe location, and there's even some chairs & tables set up if you want to dine there. The food - Veg Momo: AMAZING! 5/5. The filling has paneer among many other things and is super flavorful. Just great! The homemade chili sauce was also amazing, I could literally eat it by the spoonful. So... it wasn't clear to me that this was a food truck, but it's a food truck. There is a couple of picnic tables and a canopy. The food took a good 5min for our food with nobody in front of us after ordering our Momo chicken dumplings and chicken fried rice. Food was okay, just not memorable. The sauce was good though, that did make the dumplings from average to great. But that was the only highlight. It's a fun thing to try but I don't know if I need to go again.
