In town for the night and looking to try something new. After searching several reviews we settled on The Fifth. We found it to be trendy and fresh with a great outdoor seating option, perfect for the evening of our visit. They did have the swamp coolers going on the patio, but it would have been nice even without them. The menu is small, yet the offerings ample and with a variety of American dishes. For starters we had the hummus plate, which came with a beautiful and tasty hummus with a variety of vegetables and pita for eating, outstanding. For entrees, she settled on the fried chicken salad and I had the chicken fried chicken, which came over mashed and creamed corn. Both meals were delicious! The service was good, the sever pretty attentive, although it could have been better. I did order a second cocktail for my meal that never came. Not a huge deal but a little better attentiveness could have sent this meal over the top. All in all a great experience and someplace I'd visit again.

We live in the canyon creek neighborhood and have eaten here many times. We love the atmosphere. I've sit both outside and inside. The outside is so fun on a chilly night with all the fires going. Service is always amazing and the so is the food. My go-to is always some sort of fish dish. We usually take home a slice of key lime pie too!

Bestie and I stopped by to visit The Fifth on a Friday after work to enjoy happy hour. We started with the deviled eggs and brussel sprouts for an appetizer, which were both pretty good. Bestie ordered the pizza which was exceptionally flavorful, and I ordered the salmon tacos which were dry and had a strange taste. We decided to share the bread pudding and it was surprisingly delicious, as I don't typically enjoy bread pudding. As for the drinks, the blueberry lemon drop was a great option, it would have been better if they were a little heavier on the vodka. Lol The patio is cute, I might return again if I find myself in the vicinity again.

Newer restaurant in the area for us. We were given a gift card for our anniversary, so we gave it a shot. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and it was not what I was expecting, the onions were sweet and I removed them on the second half. The inside is wide open which was nice but very loud. The cocktails are pretty expensive and I did not enjoy them. The calamari was pretty good.

We visited The Fifth Fireside Patio & Bar for Sunday brunch and had an enjoyable experience overall. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with poblano cheese grits as a side, and also tried a mimosa and a bloody Mary. The grits were the clear standou; creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sandwich had fresh, soft bread and the au jus was tasty, but the beef was slightly overcooked and had an "older" taste that was a bit disappointing. On the sweeter side, the limon ricotta pancake was excellent; perfectly light, fluffy, and full of flavor. The service was perfect, attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was upscale yet inviting. I recommend sitting in the upper-level booths if you can; they're cozy and offer some extra privacy. We're looking forward to returning to try more menu items and also their dinner service. With just a little more consistency on the food, this spot could easily become a regular favorite!

Chicken pesto Caesar salad with a side of Tomato Basil Soup

I had 4.5 hours in Dallas and needed to see two of my best friends and one of them worked by the University of Texas at Dallas, so I found this restaurant nearby. It did not disappoint. While I am on an eat healthier kick right now (or trying to be), I enjoyed the food. I got the chicken pesto Caesar salad with tomato basil soup. The tomato basil soup tasted amazing, especially on that really chilly day in Dallas. It wasn't as smooth as I thought it would be, but maybe tomato basil is thicker and I just didn't know it. The chicken pesto Caesar salad was light and had light dressing and it was tasty. I'd try both of these items again if I head back to this part of the DFW metro. The service was quick which was great since I needed to get back to the airport and the restaurant had just the right amount of noise in it.

We were in town for a family function and brought a group of 6 in for lunch. Service was friendly and quick, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. My favorite item was the deviled eggs that we got for the table, and I loved the elote and pimento served with tortilla chips (GF). Since our experience was so good, we brought a group of 12 in the next day for brunch. Our server was great, and I was impressed that all of our food orders came out at the same time. I ordered the Huevos rancheros, which was flavorful and quite filling. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the background music was low enough that we could converse without raising our voices. We definitely will come back when we're in the area again.

Good food, service and ambiance. Loved the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. We got mimosas, tried the cranberry mimosa for the first time and loved it. Also the lemon and ricotta pancakes (no pictures) were so zesty and so so so good! The service is great! We had a great time here! Highly Recommend this place for good food and drinks!

There is an entire complex of multi-story apartment buildings in the area and then businesses like this one for all of the residents to walk to. Parking is available around the complex, but it looks like you have to pay through an app. On the day I visited the brewery, there was an event there, so parking was full. I ended up parking in the park and ride lot for the train station. Parking was plentiful and free at the DART station, and the walk through the promenade to the brewery was nice. The brewery has an outdoor patio with tables and chairs. There is even a cut through window so you can order beer from the bar without walking inside. They have both food and drink menus. You can leave your tab open, take your beer to the table, and the food will be brought to you if you remember to put the food order number flag on your table. The beer selection was mostly from the various local breweries. I got a flight of beer so that I could sample several. I ordered a personal pizza too. It hit the spot. It was on thin flatbread. The Margherita is a favorite of mine. I brought my dog with me. He was allowed on the outdoor patio, but not inside, so I didn't go in. From what I could see, it's a very large room. There are TVs hanging everywhere so you can see a game from any place you sit. Tables vary in size and can accommodate singles as well as big groups. I will most likely return because of event meetings taking place here monthly. It's a decent place to hangout for a drink and a chat with friends.

They are equipped with large TVs and chill vibes in an open, airy environment with a fantastic selection of cold beer on tap. Our server was very nice and helped me pick a smooth pale ale. I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted so I went for the lemon pepper rub wings. My cousin ordered the Nashville chicken pizza which is her absolute favorite item. I must say the wings were disappointing - they were fried ok but the lemon pepper rub was mostly absent. The meat also tasted super processed and smelled of chemicals which was very unpleasant. No amount of dunking these bad boys in ranch was gonna fix that. The pizza on the other hand was amazing, even though it was very different than the rope of pizza I'm used to in New York I appreciated the crust, the spicy pieces of chicken and a drizzle of that balanced it all together. The pizza was truly a highlight and paired so well with my beer, it's a shame that I have to knock some stars off for the wings in this review. I hope they can up the level of food and make it as stellar as the pizza. Otherwise this is a solid joint to pour yourself a cold one and catch a game.

The initial arrival was entirely seamless, as I was able to secure a most convenient parking space directly on the street. Upon crossing the threshold, I must confess my initial impression was that the venue might be somewhat ordinary however, I was instantly disabused of that notion. The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. The sophisticated combination of savory, sweet, and crisp textures left me thoroughly happy. It is an absolute treat of a destination, completely worthy of one's dining calendar. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return.
