First time I went here drinks they were awful, tried again and they totally redeemed themselves! Margarita was perfect!

Walk in and take a journey, the blue pill or the red pill.... Red pill you sit behind the bar and watch sports... or the red pill you sit in a cozy spot dispersed in their garden setting. Either way you get served and listen to music. Food was good, a lot more options of drinks than food. We tried the nachos and fries. Both I really liked. The sauces with the fries I didn't care for as much but old faithful ranch and ketchup works too! The service was good too Would definitely return!

Came to see a friend's band play. Cool spot and concept, but it's not executed super well. The layout of the space could be better. I didn't know they had servers until I asked the bar tender after sitting around for a few minutes. The service was OK and the beer selection was pretty good. I was handed unopened cans of beer which I believe is incorrect.

The Gardens at Bear Canyon is a really great concept but I wish their food and service matched the quality of the location and price point. The garden is beautiful and spaced out enough that you don't feel at all like you're sitting in a strip mall parking lot (which you are). They have a large pet friendly patio, with lots of plants, some space for yard games, and a rolling cart for board games. Unfortunately when we dropped by none of the yard games we'd seen pictured were available to use and the board games had certainly seen better days. Food was just okay, we ordered chicken tacos and the fries with the flight of sauces. The dipping sauces for the fries were fun but if you are looking for tacos, pick somewhere else. The chicken was dry and they lacked flavor, there are just too many good taco options in town to eat ones that aren't enjoyable. For two apps and a beer the total was over $30 which seemed expensive, our server was really kind but seemed to forget about us a few times. I'd maybe go back for live music and drinks because I liked the patio but I don't think I'd eat here again.

Love this outdoor spot! It is so spacious and has a really nice view, I was looking at the mountains the entire time. The menu is small but I ordered 3 different things that did not disappoint. Large variety of beer and mixed drinks. The service was speedy. Overall I would love to come here again.

This is a great place for families with kids, especially when the weather is nice. All seating is outside, and the bathroom is a porta potty. The food is nothing to write home about, but overall, this place is a good hangout spot for friends and family. On Friday nights, there is a band that plays music to drown out the noise of screaming kids. Cheers!

We were looking for a dog friendly spot and this popped up in our search. All the seating is outside. During the day, I can see how hot it can get. There's plenty of seating. There's some sitting under shade and some seating without shade. They have a bar where is bar seating as well. The day we went they had live music. It was nice. Our waitress was nice. Our food and drinks came out, and good time. The food was a hit or miss. We started with the loaded fries. Instead of Carnitas, we got the jackfruit. The portion was huge. It was extremely dry though. I don't know if it was due to the substitution of the meat. I had to ask for ketchup, and just eat my fries like regular fries. my friend ordered the chicken tacos. They gave her pork instead, but she didn't want to have them redone. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and subbed it with jackfruit. I have no complaints about the pulled pork sandwich. It was good. It does come with cheese of your choice. For my side I decided on the coleslaw. It is vinegar based. Probably not my favorite coleslaw. I had a Cabernet. My friend has a Sauvignon Blanc, but it tasted old, sour. She ended up leaving it in ordering a beer instead. They have parking on site.

Come to check this newly open place. We can seat whenever available. The food are good but not many choices. Same owner w/ The Bear Canyon Pizza, so we can order food from there and the server will send us the food to our seat.

Great place for a casual beer!

Are there vegan options (vs vegetarian)?

Yes! Their menu states Vegan options for the items are available. I know that one of the substitutions to make an item Vegan (other than preparation) includes Jack Fruit.

There were four of us and we got two appetizers, which was more food that we needed! The serving sizes are very generous. We had nachos and an order of cauliflower. The only downside was we had to ask her plates, we had to ask for silverware, we had to ask for napkins, we had to ask for water refills. Maybe they were just a little understaffed for a Tuesday night, but it will not deter me from coming back. In fact, I highly recommend it. Perfect for a summer night. And I can't quite leave this review without saying the ambience of the setting was just perfect. Lots of shade trees areas for families to play, there were cornhole games going on, there was another sitting area with a waterfall, I could see when I was leaving out there is a dedicated play area for children. This is a great place for a big party it's a massive ranch and they have utilized all of it in great ways.

There was no wait and our order was taken about 15 minutes after we were seated. That was a sign of things to come. We received our order ~40 minutes later. We needed to get to an appointment in 1.5 hours and had to push that to a later time because... good luck paying out or getting iced tea refills or pretty much anything after receiving your order. After our server finally stopped by and said she would bring our check, we watched her run out to the outdoor dining area five or so times and deliver three other checks, but not ours. I cornered her in the kitchen where she was with a manager and asked for our check. There was no apology from her or the manager. Thankfully, we could scan a QR code to pay. Any manager who does not step in when a customer has to ask for their check (in the freaking kitchen!) needs improvement. I doubt anything will change considering her lack of concern.

It used to be Johnathon's cork, now it is the cork, and I'm correct that this is the restaurant that we ate at. At that time, I wanted to order the lamb chops, I wanted to order the oysters Rockefeller, I wanted to order a particular cut of steak and all were out. I'm not sure if the restaurant has new ownership now, but at the time we ate there the ambience seems to be sort of steakhouse, but the plastic mats and tablecloths cheapened it a bit and we had always viewed this particular restaurant as something quite wonderful and rustic. I ended up getting a different cut of steak and unfortunately it was tough and we decided not to go back. Knowing that are all that this particular restaurant had boasted a James Beard chef from Australia, set our expectations high and perhaps that was the reason we expected so much more. We dined there shortly after it got its new chef. The owner replied I posted the same review yesterday which was my error, I posted for Uncorked. This however is not in error. i'm not sure why her chef is now stating there was no mention of the James Beard award. That was the whole reason we went, perhaps that was a miscommunication.

I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Wow! White sauce, bacon--yes bacon!--and peas. Yeah...peas. It actually worked quite well. The peas were a good complimentary flavor and texture. The whole thing was amazingly good. And the toast on ciabatta was perfect! Light toasty crunch on the outside with butter and garlic and nice fluffy bread on the inside. Youi can even order a side of this lovely bread. Since the jazz was outside, this is where I dined. It was chilly out but they had gas bonfires going that made it comfortable. I think the waitress was the only one working for both outside (where I dined and listened to the band) and inside, so I didn't get checked on as often as I would have liked. I had to get up and get my own drink refill from the bar, but I don't fault her. She was pleasant serving us. I recommend this restaurant and the Monday night jazz is a bonus. 5* = A top favorite.
