I only stopped in Prescott to use the bathroom on the trip to Sedona but why not get some food while I'm at it? I didn't expect much before walking in but this place took me by surprise. A small pizza is $10~$12 and you can buy the large slices for $4~6. I got one slice of each of ricotta, deep dish, combination and buffalo chicken and all of them were equally as satisfying. The marinara sauce was exceptional. It's a little more on the sweet side but it went well with the toppings. I'm excited to make a stop next time I'm going up north. I saw some reviews with remarks on the "attitute" of the employees, but really, they will treat you the same way you treat them. Just walking by the entrance you are swept away by the warmth of the pizza ovens and aromatic shells of pizza! The service is awesome ! Quick , efficient and honestly on point! The pizzas are deliciously displayed behind a glass covering in a buffet style setting. The options were plentiful including fried zucchini and calzones. Once you select your pizza of choice , into the big oven . It goes to get piping hot and get that melty cheese! The crust my friends is amazing , not thick not too thin but has that amazing crusty cornmeal texture so good! The sauce was dreamy not spicy not bland ! Definitely great for now and later ! Pretty descent pizza for a walk-in sort of place. It smells amazing when you walk in and it's pretty clean inside. There were two guys working there today that seemed like "don't mess with me New Yorker type of guys," so they weren't exactly people friendly, but good enough to hear you up a slice of pizza. For a small pizza parlor, they had a lot of options of pizza toppings. We ordered 4 slices in total: pepperoni, buffalo chicken, margarita, and the house favorite: the Grumpy Sicilian. The crust is good, but the sauce lacks flavor. The specialty pizzas were actually really good, especially the Grumpy Sicilian. Super good. We also had a caprese salad, which was tasty, and the Grumpy salad, but I thought it was too sweet with the raspberry dressing they put on it. read more

Great pizza, and sold by the slice, which is rare in AZ! Fairly close to NY pizza, which is also rare in AZ outside of Phoenix. Buffalo chicken slice was great. There wasn't a lot of options for a late dinner when my boyfriend and I arrived in Prescott around 9 PM. This spot was right down the block from our hotel so it won by default. I honestly don't know why the reviews for this place are bad. This is one of my favorite places to eat for relativity cheap, and I think the fact they're open till 2 Friday and Saturday make up for closing at 7 other days. We decided to bail and see what else we could find, and we are glad we did because otherwise we wouldn't have tried the grumpy Sicilian. First time visiting from Southern California, we were greeted with a smile from the young man behind the counter. I could tell who was the Grumpy Sicilian, the cook. Lol he looked grumpy as hell. But don't let that fool you , he can make a delicious pizza. We ordered a Veggie pizza and a salad . Both delicious. I wish I lived closer. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit.
