Decent food......BUT...if you've ever read any of my reviews you'll know that customer service is everything. First...we called in and they told us they were too busy to take the order and to come in!! Too busy!! Second...in this new era of covid... the less you spend around peeps not your own, the better. Here, you have to swim through all people waiting for their to go orders... to get to a plexiglass topped table to wait.....until someone sees you standing there to take your order. I initially called and they told me come in and order ...then, I had to call back to get someone to come up and take our order. Even if we weren't in the zombie apocalypse, 50 freaking mins to get your order is out of the question....there were like 8 or so people there. Busy? Wow. You ever go to a place and realize you're going to feel sick tomorrow before the meal is done? Like you know the chance of food poisoning is high, but you still go through with it cause the food has always tasted damn good. That's this place. Since the OG Halal spot franchised out, it's been hard to keep up the same quality nation wide. This, partnered with the hiring shortage, causes for some serious drops in quality. Store is dirty, staff not caring at all, and the food clearly not prepared to its highest quality. The manager, gal walking around with big chains and treating the place like her personal kitchen, was supporting her staff but leaving the food in bad display. The undercooked chicken was on the off stove behind the counter, meat was not prepped for the serving table, and she was going to the drinking fountain to take swigs of whatever she wanted in front of the customers. Even one of the associates apologized when she told him to serve the bottom of the tray with greasy meat that barely filled one of the ladles (I opted for the chicken instead). In all, I hope they get more staff. I hope the franchisee gets a minute to retrain them. I hope this place stays and restructures because Halal guys is awesome when it's done right. read more

Hi so the last 2 times i have been here i got a stomach ache and the runs for 2 days, unfortunately after the first time i still decided to give it a 2nd try to test my luck, but unfortunately my stomach is not having it again. I got the platter with chicken and beef. The food itself is okay the meat is whatever, the only thing that I really like is the pita bread and white sauce. I ordered my mobile order 30 min before on the app, it still wasn't ready made me wait an additional 10 min cause they only have one fryer basket for an order of fries, the place was empty when I arrived and they already had all the chairs up like I'd they were about to close at 7pm, rediculous! Halal Guys is obviously very yummy, and it's a popular chain for a reason with various locations. The only downside of this location is that I'm not sure how frequently and thoroughly tables and chairs are cleaned. Especially during one of my most recent visits, I placed my bag down and sat on a chair... later to feel this weird stickiness on my butt and bag. Turns out some soda was spilled and not wiped properly... left a sticky situation. I guess my advice would be... gently tap your chair before sitting? Make sure there's no invisible dried soda stickiness! read more

I had the original Halal guys back in NY ages ago so when I've heard they opened in SoCal, I was down to check it out. Got a small regular combo and my friend got two large platters. The customer service was great! Very quick and easy. One of the workers, AP, was sweet enough that they provided an extra platter after a wrong order. Definitely coming back again next time after a workout and want to try the various lemonade flavors! read more

Went with my family on a Saturday evening. There were 3 staff behind the counter. Each would take orders and run the register for each order. Each staff wore the same pair of gloves for the entire time. Same pair of gloves to put your food together, the same pair of gloves to run the register. It was nasty. The first time was at night. The rice was a bit dry, but they did not skimp on the meat. Maybe because they were about to close. I stopped by because my partner is obsessed with Halal Guys. I came around 3:30 pm on a Wednesday and it was empty. It's a great place to go for lunch or dinner. FOLLOW THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA! There are always amazing promotions on there. I came in today because they had BOGO Sandwich for National Sandwich Day!!! One was FREE!!! They also have an app for rewards. I love companies that appreciate repeat business. I personally really like the falafel. It is always crispy and warm with the sauce. LOVE! My partner always gets both gyro and chicken. It's the same price for two meats versus one, so why not?! We also like to get extra tomatoes to feel a little healthier! Candace was amazing! So funny and personably. She made the experience better!
