This is a place that is a nice cross between the wildly-popular drive thru coffee place at Herndon/Fowler and the other wildly-popular coffee chain with the green logo. It's a nice in-between place that has drive-thru or walk-up service, and it's a lot cheaper/ faster than both of the most popular nearby competitors. I got 3 specialty drinks for the price of 2 drinks at the other nearby chains. This was with using dairy substitutes and adding sugar free flavors. That said, they have a ton of sugar free flavor options including a sugar-free chai latte. I love it. I have avoided chai lattes for years due to added sugar. Now, I can have a treat guilt-free. I also love that I can get an almond milk latte with different sugar-free flavors. I took the sugar-free chocolate macadamia nut almond milk latte to my family member and he gulped it down. So refreshing to have a coffee place that offers customers the chance to have a special drink without sending blood sugar sky-rocketing followed by a sugar crash. Every drink comes with a chocolate covered espresso bean on top (literally the bean is placed on the lid, rolling around!), and we have lost a few beans into the drinks along the way but a lost bean is a small price to pay for a delicious drink. The customer service here is excellent. The people who work here seem to be very human, living up to the name, "Human Bean". So refreshing to have a place with great customer service. read more

First time here. Saw this place driving by as it was being built and was just too excited to try once they opened. Went just after the lunch hour, there was no wait. The guy who took my order was very nice and he took his time to answer my questions. I ordered a specialty drink, the chocolate Mac breve in a 16 oz blended with no whip. Once I got to the window I was greeted. I had previously downloaded the app so I could start earning points for their rewards program. Unfortunately for some reason their scanner didn't work at that time and I couldn't get points for this order they apologized for the inconvenience, no big deal. I got my order fairly quick. They put a delicious chocolate covered bean in the sip hole, I thought was a nice little sweet treat. My chocolate Mac breve was delicious! The sweetness level was perfect to my liking. Love love love this location! We are newbies to Clovis and when I saw this open I had to try it! There was hardly a line and ordered a Snowy Pumpkin and a Frozen hot chocolate for my mini. We also got a muffin top. The prices are so affordable compared to Starbucks or Dutch Bros. After I left I also downloaded the app to get rewards. Well I'm a coffee fiend. 6-8 cups black a day and an occasional foo foo drink. Peets used to have a seasonal Aztec mocha, but didn't last long. Dutch Bros did a Mexican Mocha but I was told that's raciest and should ask for a Lava Flow. Here they have a Mexi Mocha. Meh... more cinnamon than chocolate. Also, could use some cayenne. read more

It was really watery, thin mouth feel with little flavor. Not what I'm used to at all. Got 3 drinks and all missed the mark. I drive past this location every morning on my way to AP Fitness. Today I saw it was open and I had time after my work out to stop. It was approximately 540am and there were two cars ahead of me. The gentleman who took my order was very warm and friendly as was the woman who greeted me at the window. I ordered their 20oz latte and added sugar free vanilla. It's perfect. The coffee doesn't taste burnt like other large chain coffee places. It's smooth and not too sweet. The finishing touch is a chocolate covered coffee bean on top of the lid as they had it to you. This is my new go to coffee place. First you should know my husband swears I like cream with a little coffee in it so if you are a black coffee fanatic my review probably isn't for you. I have ran out of like with Starbucks mainly because service has gone way down and the reliability that the coffee you get will taste like your order. At the Human Bean I fell in love with the snowy mocha...so good then I discovered the candied peppermint mocha. I go back and forth between the two. This is based strictly on the drinks. Came back today and tried their fall specialty drinks which they have YEAR ROUND!!! Yes you heard that right! Love that they have non-dairy milk choices such as oat, almond & macadamia nut milk. All of the drinks were amazing. We also got the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich and a crepe brûlée muffin top which were both delicious. I have $12.25 that I preloaded onto my account. For some reason it wasn't working at the register today due to something with their $1 off Lattes promo. Told me to pay with something else or I can leave. Was told, "yeah fur sure sometimes it doesn't work. Fur sure for sure x10 we don't recommend putting money on the app bc this is fur sure a repeat problem." Chick at the register holds the world record for most "fur sure's" in one sentence. I don't understand the point of preloading money if it doesn't work. What if I have no other payment method or money in general? For being such a new business the lack of fur sure customer service was astounding. Not to mention every time I've been here I'm the only one (maybe second) in line and it takes over 10 minutes to get a drink. Maybe if they cut "fur sure" out of their vocabulary they'd have time to make drinks quicker. read more
