I've ordered drinks here twice so far and I feel like I was disappointed both times. The first time I ordered a Winter melon milk tea and it did not taste like winter-melon at all, it just tasted like straight milk. The second time I decided to order a winter melon fresh tea (no milk) and once again it did not taste like winter melon, but when my straw was close to the bottom, it tasted like I took a huge sip of syrup. I got the feeling like they did not mix my drink at all. Overall, I feel like it might be the winter melon and the other drinks are not that bad, so there's a chance I will back to try something different. read more

We got medium spicy but its not the Asian spicy. So if you like it spicy get it as high as you can go. It was a tad bit salty but the texture was great! My sister had the ice bar original milk tea - milky, thick, kinda of chocolately, not too sweet, but really couldn't taste too much tea. I had the passion fruit green tea with lychee, aloe, and chia seed. Again not too sweet good amlunt of toppings. However again could not taste the tea. Hubby and I had a sudden late night craving for boba and we're so glad The Ice Bar was open. Cute boba spot next to Baskin Robbins and across from Bounce Boba Lounge. I ordered the Milk Tea and was satisfied with it as it wasn't too sweet (unlike the other places). It seemed a bit busy when we first got there so we had to wait and even asked how much longer our order was going to be ready. Nonetheless, a really nice man offered us free fries and thanked us for our patience. It wasn't necessary but we appreciated the kind gesture and customer service. I ordered a bunch of drinks. Due to recommendations from friends. Maybe it's because I got new people who haven't been trained or it's because it is too busy. Drinks taste watered down. Too much milk or too much ice, but it's not great. Cannot taste none of the tea in all of our milk Ordered a viet matcha coffee latte and it does not taste like matcha at all. The only good one out of the whole order was the pineapple slush which is why the 2 stars. Cuz the rest of the people I brought boba for did not like their drinks at all. They're new so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but this is beyond disappointing. There was no social distancing whatsoever. People took off their facemasks inside and someone was coughing in the corner too. I stood outside because it was a tad uncomfortable to be around, at least they're busy. Upside is the fact that the workers stayed separated from the customers for the most part so we'll see what happens. Overall meh experience. First time trying out The Ice Bar and I'm glad I did. This is definitely one of the best Boba places I visited around Northridge and I highly suggest for everyone to try it too. I like the fact that they're open 'til midnight - you can just drive there anytime you're craving for a nice drink. My brother tried Dalgona Chocolate and it tastes amazing - it was creamy and chocolate-y (but not too much). I had the House Special Milk Drink and I was surprised by the amount of toppings I had - almost felt like I was drinking a Halo-halo (a Filipino desert). The drinks we ordered were at 50% sugar level which is really good as you can control how sweet you want your drink to be. Location is so perfect for us, we are finally have high quality boba near our house. We don't have to drive down to San Gabriel any more. Cute lil boba place that recently opened up near CSUN. It's a little more expensive than other SFV boba places as I paid about $6 for just one drink, but you're paying for a large sized drink with organic milk. I tried their thai tea, horchata, and ice bar organic milk tea, which were all pretty solid. The horchata was moreso milky with a slight hint of cinnamon and the milk tea kinda reminded me of the oolong tea you get at Chinese restaurants. The boba's texture was nice and chewy and it really had flavor unlike the other bobas I've tried around the area. The popcorn chicken was also bomb! It had the perfect amount of crispiness and flavor. You can get spice on it as well! Drinks are a little on the pricier side, I paid $6 + tip for one drink but it does come in a large size cup. Friendly staff. Both the brown sugar milk tea and the Thai milk tea were really good and the boba was soft/fresh. You can tell that the Thai tea is real and not just some weird powder.
