    Grilled Wrap with Safron Chicken
    Lon H.

My wife, son and I had an enjoyable lunch at The Kebab Shop the other day. We hadn't been there in a while, but decided to go back to enjoy their food. We each ordered a Wrap. My wife and I enjoyed our Grilled Wraps with Safron Chicken. Our son ordered a Grilled Wrap with Chicken Shawarma. We all really liked our Wraps. Our son finished his, but my wife and I could only finish half. We took our leftovers home to enjoy later. I noticed that they no longer have their sauces out for their guests to add as they wish. They now add them to your wraps, based upon what you specify when you order. We liked that the sauce was tasty and had a bit of a kick. If you want it spicier, just specify it when you order. Their service is always quick and efficient. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is usually kept clean and tidy. The noise level is also quite low, which is a bonus.

Meat was tender, not dry, I love that there's a deal for kids on the weekends. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors! We brought our dog outside to sit, lovely space.

At first I was a little judgey because it was messy. (Sorry) I will say the gentleman took care of it that away. All by himself so kudos to him, thank you. The food was amazing. I got a chicken shawarma and my man did the San Diego with steak. Food was amazing. I can't wait to go back! Every sauce was delicious as well. We shared the Cesar fries. Nothing compares. It was delicious. Most delicious Mediterranean food I've ever had. Thank you to the cooks as well. Highly recommend if you're wanting to try, do not hesitate. Thank you for the great service as well!

    Chickpea falafel grilled wrap

Wow this place is amazing! Love love love the chickpea falafel grilled wrap. First the pita wrap itself was lightly grilled, crisp and thin (not the typical thick fluffy dough pita). Their falafel was so tasty and aromatic. You can also help yourself to more of their OG yogurt sauce (so good!) , cilantro sauce, spicy chili sauce / freely available on the counter. I was told they started with one shop years ago and having eaten there now, it explained why they grew to multiple stores in the bay now. Aside from Oren's hummus, this is now my next best and favorite place. I'll be back.

Came in for lunch and ordered a "build your own bowl" with saffron rice, fries, chicken schwarma, and classic toppings which is a crisp mix of red cabbage slaw, tomatoes, and red onions. The bowl was very filling, the chicken was warm and tender, and the fries were crispy! With the lunch rush, there was quite a wait (maybe about 20 minutes) for our food because of the online orders.

a piece of plastic found in my diner

went to TKS on Tuesday July 28 at around 3:30pm. my wife and i shared a chicken doner. i bit into the wrap and there was a chicken bone in the "boneless chicken". i spoke to a kind person and she remade it for me. a few days have passed and my wife started eating her diner and found two pieces of plastic (not onion skin) in her wrap. i don't know what's going on and wanted to not say anything but ffs. two choking hazards from the same place. please avoid this place. and for the management at TKS you can reach out. I can provide you with the order and general time we ordered it. seriously though on top of the e.coli issue and now two choking hazards you really need to be desperate to eat at this place

Love the kebab shop! First time coming to this location and it's super clean and updated compared to the one I usually go too. You order at a tablet which is fine but I do prefer to order with someone. Everything is prepared and is super hot and fresh when it's ready. I usually build my own wrap and I get my child falafels and French fry's. We love that you can get the og sauce on your own and the red sauce. My son loves the white sauce to dip the falafels and French fry's in.

I attended an event where the food was catered from this place. I had salad, falafels, saffron n rice, and bread. Everything was delicious! Can't wait to visit the shop and try other dishes!

Falafel wrap and chicken wrap with a side of crave fries

Conveniently located in a strip mall on Paseo Padre Highway in Fremont, this joint offers healthy, no-fuss wraps, bowls and plates. You pick a protein (falafels, chicken, shrimp etc), remove any recommended toppings and add any optional ones to customize your wrap/bowl/plate. Bowls come with rice and plates with salads on the side. We got the wraps and a side of their crave fries. The portions are quite generous and I would share the wrap between 2 if not very hungry. Their sauces are quite nice too - particularly the cilantro jalapeño one. Food was delicious and came out pretty quickly. The place is super clean and good for groups of all sizes. I recently learned that is a chain, I'd recommend trying one close to you.

This place is like food porn. I'm here so often that I'm on the rewards program. Great business. Especially if you care about quality and hitting your macros.

Grilled Beef Kofta plate. Missing my tabouli. Definitely doesn't look appealing, but it tasted good.

They had a fundraiser going, so they were pretty swamped with orders, but the staff at night were amazing. The cashier would make a point to tell walk-ins that there's a fundraiser, so orders have about a 30-45 minute wait. I really appreciated that she was giving people a heads up and letting them decide versus now people just sort of stare and don't tell you. Then you're pissed that it's taking so long. They were very aware of who was waiting for awhile and they'd ask to make sure they had your order and when it was going to be ready. The staff were great for handling all those orders during the fundraiser. I was bummed cause I didn't get my tabouli, but I also didn't look to verify our order. My meal definitely did not look appealing at all, but it tasted pretty good. Our kids scarfed down their wraps and loved it. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seats indoor and outdoor.

3.5 stars overall Good - Portions are big Better - Fries are a surprisingly satisfying Best - Wrap should be on repeat weekly Missed the mark - order for plate was wrong They served rice instead of a Greek salad when it was clearly typed on the order. No seasoning on grilled veggies made them bland. Would return to try them again and hopefully get the Greek salad.

I love this place. I've had it twice and I can't wait to come back a third time. The cashier was super patient and helpful. The food is super tasty and healthy-ish. The price is reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this place.

My family and I, two adults and two young children, came here during Ramadan for iftaar. Before arriving, I specifically called ahead to ask whether we needed to come early because I understood restaurants can become very busy during iftaar time. I was told that arriving 10 to 15 minutes before iftaar would be perfectly fine and that our food would be ready around the time of breaking fast. Based on that reassurance, we came about 20 minutes before iftaar expecting a smooth experience. Instead, the moment we walked in, it felt like we were invisible. The restaurant was crowded but not chaotic. We sat down and waited while servers walked past us repeatedly without acknowledging us. Eventually, I had to flag someone down myself just to place an order. I even asked directly how long the food would take because we were fasting all day and had two small children with us. The server confidently assured us the food would arrive around iftaar time. That never happened. When iftaar finally arrived, all we received were dates and water. No appetizers, no main dishes, nothing. We continued waiting while table after table around us received their food. Meanwhile, our children became increasingly upset and hungry. Anyone with young kids knows that after a full day of fasting, asking them to wait another 20, 30, even 50 minutes is nearly impossible. Our kids were crying, exhausted, and confused as they watched other families eat while we sat there with empty plates. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of honesty and accountability. Every time we asked about our order, we were told, "It's coming soon." Then eventually the server disappeared entirely for nearly 20 minutes and avoided us altogether. A woman later approached us, but instead of apologizing or taking our concerns seriously, she became dismissive and defensive. By this point, nearly 50 minutes had passed since we ordered, and she still insisted we "shouldn't complain" (in Farsi) because the food would come "soon." That response was honestly more upsetting than the delay itself. A simple apology, honesty, or basic compassion toward a fasting family with small children would have gone a long way. We eventually left the restaurant feeling humiliated, disrespected, and deeply disappointed. What saddened me most is that this happened during Ramadan, a month centered around patience, generosity, hospitality, and good character. In Afghan culture and Islamic ethics, guests are supposed to be treated with dignity and care, especially during iftaar. Halal is not only about the food being permissible. Halal is also about honesty, fairness, respect, and how people are treated. Sadly, this restaurant failed in all of those areas. We will never return, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful service or a welcoming family environment.

This time, my camera ate before I did, ha! Here is a breakdown of what we ordered on this visit: 1. Steamed Chicken Momo: These were perfectly moist with an adequate, well-seasoned filling. Plus, their signature orange sauce never disappoints! 2. Mixed Fried Rice: This came loaded with eggs, chicken, and veggies. Unlike some places where the veggies feel like an afterthought, these tasted fresh. The portion size was great, flavorful and more than enough for two people. 3. Chicken Sizzler: There is nothing like hearing that loud sizzling sound when food is brought to your table! I initially expected it to come with fries and veggies, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it served on top of a huge bed of noodles. It was incredibly tasty. My only minor critique is that the menu just lists the name of the dish without a description. While I could have asked, it would be helpful if the menu explained what the sizzler entails, especially since their other menu items have descriptions. The Perks & Ambiance: Free Tea: A wonderful touch! They offer free, unlimited aromatic hot tea for dine-in customers, served in cute little espresso cups. Service & Seating: There is plenty of seating available. The service is prompt, though you might occasionally need to wave them over to get their attention, but it's definitely not a dealbreaker. Parking & Access Tip: There is ample parking in the complex, but getting to it can be a bit tricky right now due to the ongoing roadwork on Fremont Blvd. From the street, it almost looks like the restaurants in this plaza might be closed, but don't be fooled; they are absolutely up, running, and well worth the visit!

I really love smashed burgers and found out that they're promoting this on social media. So why not give it a try? I was trying to order it along with curly fries and drink. When I looked at the total, it contradicted the price of the fries and drink combo since the employee entered them separately. So I tried telling him that the combo is in the menu and so why put both items separately? They were clueless with what I'm trying to tell them and I kinda gave up trying to explain. Luckily, he figured out what I told him and it was a success. I guess that it's all a misunderstanding. They should be consistent with what's on the menu even though that ordering them separately is slightly expensive. Also, if I'm correct, if you want the fries and drink combo, you can only get the Shasta brands. Otherwise, you'll have to order both separately, because Shasta drinks are generally cheaper than other soda brands. I suggest them updating the menu where it says something like "With Fries & Shasta Drink Combo" rather something a bit too general. That would clear up confusions and misunderstandings from both sides. Again, I don't blame him. It's most likely a miscommunication and we're just trying to clear things up. Anyways, got home and honestly the curly fries were crispy and very delicious. The best part is actually the smashed burger. It's really saucy and juicy at the same time. They did a really good job with making them. Would definitely recommend anyone especially those who near this area to give it a try! In my opinion, it's better than one of the burgers I had.

The appetizers were great - the mantu had a great flavor and felt very hearty. The leek and butternut squash felt homey and warm - our waitress said they were her favorite, and were so glad she gave us that recommendation! The leek paired nicely with the yogurt provided, as it was a little spicy and had an aroma pretty similar to chives. The squash bolani was slightly sweet, and almost felt like an in-between for dessert. Having both was a nice contrast. By far the murgh (chicken) kabob was our favorite skewer, as it was the juiciest meat, and quite tender. The table ranked the chaplee (ground meat, with a hint of spice) next in terms of flavor and texture, and teka (tri tip) was slightly more dry and bland compared to everything else. The lamb shank was quite tender but smaller than expected for the price; it still had a nice homey flavor though I prefer when restaurants provide more of that braised juice to go alongside the dish. I don't eat cilantro, so had requested there to be no cilantro in any dishes, but they said they couldn't remove it from the salad, so was a little sad about that.
