Great diner ! With plenty of options for everyone , diner had plenty of parking as well. Came here twice during my weekend here and enjoyed the options ! Alyssa was super nice & helpful on getting our orders just how we like it ! Will definitely be back ! They seated us right away as they have plenty of room , pretty big diner . I would recommend they warm up the pies before serving , cold pies are not it! But looking forward to trying their other treats when in town :)!

Stopped in for a late breakfast during the week. My server, Mike, was wonderful. He was very friendly, constantly keeping my water and coffee full, and quick to take my order. He brought me an extra plate to help separate some of the food from the meadows special plate, which was much appreciated. The diner has the true diner vibe with tons of booth seating and chrome accents. The bathroom was a little out dated and could definitely use a refresh and a few repairs, but was clean and stocked with soap and paper towels.

Wow, I am not a "diner" girl, but I've been there three times now and I have yet to be disappointed. Breakfast is phenomenal-their biscuits and gravy, chipped beef, eggs, French toast-even the coffee is very tasty! Service is great and the people are friendly. Prices are good and it's now our family's favorite place to get together!

Biscuit was the best part of the meal. We went at 12 on a Sunday and were served quickly and with kindness. The ambiance is nice and warm like a classic diner. The breakfast potatoes were also delicious. My omelette also had a cheese pull!

Can you see the peppers & onions...awesome chicken cheesesteak, so good!

Just adding the Meadows special early morning menu! Delish start to any morning, try the Belgium waffles....yum!

Generally, I liked my experience here. Ambiance: (5/5) Great diner feel with booths and regular tables. Price: (5/5) Greta prices for huge portions. Food: (4/5) The food was definitely a bit heavy, but it was really good. The sausage gravy could have used a bit of salt and pepper but I'm glad I got it on the side of the waffles so I could control how much I ate. I also tried the French toast with some toppings. That was a also really good (maybe a bit too sweet, so I should have picked different toppings). Service: (4/5) Staff is great. They are so accommodating. Food did take a while but I wasn't in a rush.

    COVID19 take-out .. . eerie to see THE MEADOWS this way ... :(

Good food good service. A solid diner for Sunday breakfast or a quick bite to eat. Their food has yet to disappoint.

Was escorted to our table by a lovely hostess, but that's when the stellar service ended. A woman came over to our table who ended up being our server to abruptly tell us to hand her the tip that was on the table. The table hadn't been bussed from the previous occupants, our server didn't acknowledge that, or greet us, or introduce herself, she just told us, "hand me that money please". Welcome to Jersey I guess! Anyhow, it's a typical NJ diner with an unnecessarily massive menu, extremely large portions, but still relatively fair pricing. Our server was clearly experienced, but she was very curt and not friendly at all. Food was plentiful and mostly enjoyed. The hash browns were burnt, and very different, as the texture under the top crust was like mashed potatoes and they weren't seasoned at all. The eggs needed salt and pepper also. The French toast was good. The French toast with apples was also good, but had too much apple and whipped cream. It was like a dessert. It's a diner so I wasn't expecting Michelin worthy food, but I was so put off by the service, it colored the rest of the experience.

I gave them a four out of five for two reasons the food took too long to get to our table. There was other table seated after us that were halfway done their food by the time our food came out and also we ordered our burgers medium, and they were definitely both well done so I feel like the server may have waited in bringing them out to us and that's why they were well done. What is great about the place is it's beautiful. It's big, lots of baked goods. It's very pretty inside and their lunch specials are spectacular. The music was nice and the people were having so much fun. The crowd was older and it was nothing but fun. Chatted with a few good people and had an overall great time. I spent the nice drinking O'Doules and redbulls and the bartender was very kind. She smiled when I said "its a party too ill have a third" (O'Doules) im don't drink much anymore. I drank enough in my 22 yrs of active service. Overall its was fun Itruly enjoyed myself. Didn't have any food maybe next time.

The rice bowl that I can't recall the name of was a little hot but not overbearing but I also got chipotle mayo on top but you can pick your sauces.
