Very happy to have The Melt join the neighborhood! I have visited twice now and have had a mostly positive experience each time. The first time, we ordered online and picked up. Their system is very streamlined and they communicate promptly via text when your food is done. I picked up my items within 10-15 minutes of ordering (we were at Whole Foods next door). I ordered the Egg in a Hole and added an Impossible Patty on GF bread. I was thrilled to have GF options (yes, there's an up charge, but worth it)! My wife had their classic Impossible Meltburger. My sandwich was delicious and I was impressed that the GF bread did not fall apart. My only complaint was that the egg on one half of the sandwich was very much raw. The second time I visited, I dined in and ordered from the self-serve kiosk. The staff was very friendly and the space was clean, spacious, and comfortable even with many other patrons. I had the Impossible burger on a GF bun this time and again, thoroughly enjoyed it. Got a side of sweet potato fries, which I didn't care for too much because of the extra sugar. I prefer the plain fries. My friend got the Egg in a Hole and I warned her about my experience. She enjoyed it but also found that part of her sandwich had raw egg. Food came out quickly and they have a easy alert system that you calibrate to a puck when you order via self-serve. For those that are more technolgically challenged, there is also a person that provides counter service. The menu offers a great variety of option without overwhelming. Burgers, grilled cheese, mac/cheese, and even salads! They also offer soft drinks and milk shakes to satisfy the sweet tooth. I am impressed with their processes but do feel that they need to focus a little on quality control with the egg option. I look forward to my next visit! read more

Returned to the Melt to try it out again since the manager provided us with a gift card to try it out. The service was once again amazing. The staff is very kind and very helpful. The store is very clean and kept up, great ambiance. The food was definitely better this time around. I got the fried spicy chicken sandwhich and my sister got the regular fried chicken sandwhich. This was definitely better than the grilled chicken as it had more flavor for some reason. I do wish my bun was slightly warm, but it wasn't. Overall, decent tasting but a little more salt would go a long way. We also got the fajita Mac and cheese and the regular Mac and cheese which I thought was yummy. The fajita Mac and cheese just lacked meat. It would be good if they crumbled a beef patty on top. The salads were the best thing on the menu. Loved both the ceasar and the Cobb. read more

Both my daughters got a burger and a chicken melt and both lacked flavor. Didn't really taste like anything. For the money we paid , I didn't think it was worth it. I have been wanting to try The Melt's Paradise Valley location they have two locations in the South Bay, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale. They are a coveted go to for yummy cheesy goodness. I had the patty melt with sweet potato fries on the side. I was late, picking my order up, because I was at work and we were extremely busy. They insisted on remaking my order... The Melt is one of eateries at the new PV complex. It's a chain restaurant, and this is the first Arizona location. The Melt serves primarily grilled cheese sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and burgers with a smattering of other options such as salads, soup and mac and cheese. Nothing I've had so far is, like, amazing, but most of it is very good. The mac and cheese is better than what you get in many more-expensive restaurants. The classic grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup (get the grilled cheese croutons as an add-on) is a perfect lunch. The only menu item that disappointed me was the chopped Cobb salad. A note: Although you can buy Coke products in cans, Melt's fountain drink system features Alameda Soda products, which are good, but a tiny bit disappointing for people who want plain old Pepsi or Coke products. The interior is pleasant, the patio is lovely and takeout orders are ready ridiculously fast. All in all, The Melt is a great new addition to the neighborhood. read more

The garlic parm fries were amazing but I might ask for less garlic next time. My husband has had the bbq burger and shroom burger so far and loved them. My kids devoured the Mac n cheese and regular fries. And for dessert, the chocolate chip cookies, chocolate milkshake and cookies n cream milkshakes are phenomenal. I can't wait to try more! The restaurant is clean and trendy. They have quick ordering on screens or you can order at the counter. The screens are super user friendly and definitely what I preferred. First time trying this at lunch today, spicy chicken sandwich was delicious, very flavorful and juicy. Was warned by staff it was very spicy but I thought it was delicious and not too spicy for me. It was huge and I could only finish half. My friend ordered the single burger and fries and said it was the best burger she ever had. The young lady working there was super friendly from the time we arrived she checked back with us numerous times and gave part of a chocolate chip cookie to try. I got the spicy Justin burger and it wasn't too spicy but the fresh jalapeños were my favorite. They made the burger much better and were so much better than pickled jalapeños would have been.
