The Melting Pot is a bit of dinner and entertainment combined. We went for happy hour -- service was great, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, even offering gluten-free options without an upcharge, which is rare and appreciated. We ordered one cheese and one dessert fondue. The dipping options included bread, veggies, and fruit. The cheese fondue uses pre-shredded cheese with anti-caking powder all over it. I also had a cocktail, which was very sweet -- and most of the drink menu seemed to lean that way rather than offering craft-style cocktails. Overall, the food was just okay; I neither loved nor hated the experience. Had I paid full dinner pricing, I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. A solid 3-star visit.

Restaurant Week is still going strong, and we were so excited to finally try The Melting Pot. My kids absolutely loved the hands-on experience--from appetizers to dinner to dessert--it made the whole meal much more fun. We originally didn't plan on getting dessert since they served us so much delicious protein that we couldn't finish it all. But in the end, we gave in--and wow, it was worth it! My daughter is already asking to come back for her birthday! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed. And even though the restaurant was packed when we left, the booths made it feel cozy and private. Here's what we tried: Mac and Five Cheese Fondue Chicago Deep Dish Fondue Caprese Salad Meat Lovers Fondue Vegetable Fondue Chocolate Explosion Birthday Cake (a must-try!) We have to come back to try the different cooking styles for fondue! So far, we've had Mojo and Cast Iron Grill, but next time, we'll be trying: Coq au Vin Court Bouillon Bourguignonne If you haven't been to The Melting Pot yet, put it on your list! It's such a fun and unique dining experience--perfect for a special occasion or just because.

Finally tried The Melting Pot during the 2025 Inlander Week Event! The food and drinks were a 10/10, absolutely delicious with no complaints. Cooking at the table made it interactive and fun, perfect for families or date nights. Spokane needs more spots like this! Common guys!!! Excited to come back and try their regular vegan menu. Wish more restaurants here offered one, shoutout to Twigs Bistro for having one! Plenty of tasty mocktails too. I had the blackberry citrus one, which reminded me of Clinkerdagger's drinks. Some drinks even come with gummy bears, like the Shark Nibble. Woohoooo candy :D

Our first time ever at a fondue restaurant. This place hit the mark all the way around. But beware of one thing, they give you A LOT of food. Unless you're willing to eat a lot, you may want to get service for two or three if you have a party of four. Other than that, the service was great, the food is fantastic, and the ambience is really nice. Highly recommend going there on a date night or just a casual night out with friends.

Definitely fun place to bring friends or ur other half! We went during happy hour which is only available at bar side ( 21 y.o and older) which made the fondue all half off! Pretty fun experience especially being my first time! Food was very simple, not meats which I was kind of sad but basic foods like bread, fruits, veggies to dip into the fondue! They also gave us more fruits to finish off the chocolate fondue

I've been here three times with my girlfriend and it never disappoints. The service quality is absolutely amazing, our server this time was Dakota and he brought a great atmosphere to our night. The food was delicious as always. A great way to spend my Valentine's Day. If you're okay with spending a little then I definitely recommend you come here.

The Melting Pot was a good New Year's Eve choice for dinner. The food was amazing. The service was top notch!! It was my boyfriend's first time there and he loved it!!

Went out to melting pot on a double date to celebrate and had an amazing experience at the melting pot. It was my first time there and I wasn't entirely sure of what to expect. We were there for almost 2 hours for a 4 course dinner that (with some drinks) cost about $260 for 2. The cheese, broth and chocolate fondue are assembled right in front of you which was very cool. The little hot pad in the middle of the table keeps the kettle hot and melts the cheese/chocolate and keeps the broth hot enough to cook the proteins. There are so many options of proteins and cheese. Can't go wrong with any of them!! It was a very cool experience and the food was very fresh and delicious and the drinks (especially the sweet tart) were absolutely delightful.

Easily one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The meal selection was fantastic while the s'more's selection was easily one of the best desserts I've ever had. Our server was very kind and informative. The price is kinda expensive, but worth every dollar.

Their menu is very interesting, it definitely tells a new American story with a lot of influence, but holds traditional to a new American style. The service is incredible. Everyone seems so happy and alive. Every single thing that we got was perfect. The port flight was quite a steal at $20. We were excited to try some different items, but were even more thrilled when it came out with some amazing chocolate. The bread puffs that come before the meal are to die for, and we got a taquito appetizer that was super filling, fresh, vibrant, and a little unique too. I wish we didn't live all the way across the country! This is a must stop in Spokane for a lovely and memorable meal.

Yes, the chicken meat was so flavorful, and so tender...never experienced something like this. I told the bartender to give compliments to the chef. But, if you have money, or if you want to make an impression, by all means, this is the place. Quaint, nicely decorated place. Low light, quiet, everyone is happy. But, again, go for the food. It smelled amazing when we first walked in and we were immediately greeted and seated. Service was amazing! It was fast and efficient and our waitress made the process smooth and fast. We got two apps, the flatbread and the loaded deviled eggs. The devil eggs were creamy topped with smoky bacon and a pungent parm crisp. It was lovely! The filling was smooth and the smokiness of the bacon cut the richness of the filling. The parm added a wonderfully taste as well as added a interesting texture. The star of the apps was definitely the flatbread though. It was a soft bread with a sweetness chili based topped with bacon, peppers, and onions! It was delicious! The sweetness paired with the bacon was brilliant! I got the shrimp pasta! The sauce was beautiful and the shrimp were juicy and cooked perfectly. The wine was cooked off wonderfully leaving just a hint of flavor with none of the bitterness. The burger was juicy and the cheese was wonderfully meaty. The bun was fresh and bouncy. The veg were fresh and while we weren't ask how we wanted the meat cooked (my sister is very picky) it was cooked to her liking. The least strongest dish was the schnitzel. The meat was crispy, but honestly lacked flavor. The potatoes were also mashed with chucks which I just don't prefer and it also has skin still so...

Service: our waiter was helpful and kind - when he was there. It started off great, but as the evening went on he wasn't there when we needed. We waited a fair amount of time for our entrees, drinks we had ordered, and lastly for boxes and our checks. It was a little frustrating, but he was clearly busy and it may not have been his fault. Food: we started with the pork burnt ends. They were cooked wonderfully and tasted great. I would say they were maybe just a tad too sweet, but I still really enjoyed them. My husband got the crossbred corn Mac and cheese. He liked it and thought it had good flavor. I tried it and didn't care for it. I got the Tuscan Penne pasta with Chicken. I didn't love it. It had large whole cooked cherry or grape tomatoes in it and they weren't great and There wasn't a ton of flavor in general. The chicken in it was probably the best part and I added it for $7.50. Our friends got the special which was some shrimp risotto. The risotto was overcooked and was mush and the amount of crispy onions was way more than the amount of risotto in the dish. The shrimp was cooked well though and they enjoyed the flavor. For drinks I started with the Cadillac Margarita. It was far too sweet for me. The next drink I asked them to make me a spicy margarita with just jalapeños and pineapple juice instead of any mix they had. That turned out better than my first margarita. we had a good time with our friends and enjoyed our night out. However, we all kind of said we didn't care to make it back there. None of us were too impressed and for what we paid, it just wasn't worth it.
