This place is amazing. I have been wanting to come here after not being able to try the Austin location. The vibe is very cozy and vintage. I came in with a friend for breakfast. I ordered the Big Tex and a Caramel Latte(hot). The Big Tex breakfast sandwich was amazingly tasty, and it may be the best breakfast sandwich I have had. Their Caramel Latte was delicious, so much so that when it was all gone I decided to order it iced as well. Their Caramel Latte Iced was also amazing, and I can't even tell you which one I liked better. Their Pablo Smoky Rojo is their signature salsa and it was so flavorful and delicious, I purchased one to take home, because knew my husband would love it. Service was wonderful! The amazing ladies working the front were friendly and helpful. Overall amazing place, and I would definitely come back.

We were attending a car show in Deep Ellum when someone suggested The Meteor for food and cocktails. Where have you been all my life! I'm not sure where to start- the art deco design, the Design District, the friendly, helpful employees (Vanessa and Amelia), the BlackBerry Bourbon Mash, or the Meteor Burger made with Wagyu beef. But wait- coffee drinks in the morning and natural wines in the afternoon. And not finished - it's a bike shop . My head is spinning!! I'm an art deco chick and love the lounge, the booths, the round bar, and the bad ass doors. I could live here! Did you know it does connect to a high rise apartment ? So, apparently, some patrons do live there- technically!! I'm so jealous!! My new fav!!

Fantastic lattes and breakfast! Highly recommend! My friends and I stopped by The Meteor for breakfast on a Monday and there was no wait for a table. The interior is super trendy -- feels like you're in Austin! Service was quick and efficient! I got the Apple Cider Latte, which absolutely wowed me. It was perfectly cinnamony with a hint of apple -- loved!! For breakfast I got the Vaquero Breakfast. It was super filling, savory, with a hint of spice. Can't wait to try more of their menu items!

I got to know this spot because of DallasSites 101's Coffee Passport. I tried their vanilla latte with fronk nut milk and my boyfriend ordered their brain lube latte. We both enjoyed our drinks! I went back for the second time today (a week later) and I got the cereal milk latte and it's just as solid! The ambiance of the restaurant is super cute with this retro old diner vibe. I would love to stay for a meal next time!

This place has a very cool ambiance to it. The barista was kind. I honestly wasn't too crazy about the coffee though. I got a latte with Fronks milk and maybe it was the milk that was an issue for me but it had almost a too sweet flavor for me.

I've come to The Meteor a few times to grab breakfast and study. This is such a fun and vibe-y spot with comfortable booths. Reminds me of a retro diner. It's a great quiet spot to study, and it doesn't get super busy on a weekday. But it can get very busy on a Saturday morning (understandably). I waited probably 15 minutes on my iced chai when I went on a Saturday at 10:30 AM. The morning rush did calm down at around 11:30 AM though. I will say that the menu is very overpriced. A small mediocre breakfast taco was $6. You are most definitely paying for the ambiance when you come here. But I think it's worth it to experience going to this place at least once. It's a great spot to catch up with friends or grab food with family. Seats are first come first serve. There's a calm and warm ambiance-d room/lounge next door with couches and a fireplace. It can get used for private events, but on a weekday it's usually been available to use. There's also a large outdoor seating area that's perfect to use when there's nice weather. There is a parking garage close by, and they validate parking! It did get full when I went on Saturday morning though. Overall, I have greatly enjoyed my experiences with The Meteor and would recommend that anyone try it at least once!

Chicken sausage minus the bacon, egg, cheese. It was ok . Added some salt/pepper to the sausage. Biscuit was good. Soft and buttery.

I had the breakfast chicken biscuit known as the BEC and the Chur-Muffin. Service was good . Ambiance . Food

Came here for happy hour on a Thursday. The $5 jumbo slice is a great deal! I got the pepperoni and the amarillo. The amarillo was delicious and such a unique pizza. The pepperoni was also good but some pepperoni bites tasted a bit burnt and almost metallic so not my fav. It's super cute inside and they validate parking from the garage behind the building. I will definitely be back for trivia Thursday nights. You order at the counter to service us quick and easy.

The food and coffee were fab!! Week days they do big slices of pizza for 6$ and they are so good! The cereal milk latte is incredible. Trust me! It's counter service so no one waits on you. Really cool space inside

Fun hip spot for coffee in the daytime or wine and pizza at night! Such a beautiful interior and place to work during the day or hang with friends in the evening. They do $15 wine flights on Tuesdays at night and have happy hour where the pizzas are $5 for a jumbo slice. Pizza was decent- not my favorite but I'm picky coming from NYC! Coffee was okay- nothing mind blowing and at a higher price point (paid around $7-$8) but worth the price point for such a beautiful atmosphere and if you're going to hang out for a bit.

We got a round of espresso martinis which were impeccable. Made with fresh espresso and we saw her icing out glasses as we went to our table. So many seating options: multiple indoor spaces, booths, sultry couches, bistrot tables and outdoor seating. Service was fantastic as was the decor.

Probably one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've been to. It's so cozy and the design is really cool. I got a chai latte and would rate it 3ish stars. I'd definitely try something else next time.

Wow this might be one of the prettiest cafes we've visited in Dallas. The retro diner decor was peak vibes. There's tons of booths and lounge chairs to work or chill with friends. Definitely check it out if you can!

Like, you can taste the difference. Whatever the cucumber drink was tasted like springtime in Ireland lol. Now let's talk about the vibe because BABY... from the outside, you would NEVER expect what's inside. You walk in and suddenly you're in a full-on 70s-inspired living room. I mean, the velvet-lined hallway and the beaded doorway *should've* been my warning, but nothing prepares you for it There's tons of seating too: comfy couches, chairs, tables, booths, it really feels like you're just hanging out at somebody's very cool house. They've even have a pool table, and right at 8pm an aggressively competitive Uno game breaks out, which was honestly hilarious to watch. This place is such a vibe. Fun, unique, and just different in the best way. 10/10. I'll definitely be back.

The comfy seats, neon lights and unique drinks make for an immaculate vibe. I got the sugar land summer and I really loved the vanilla foam. Thicker and tastier than any foam I've ever had, I want this again. The orange creamsicle part was a little bitter though. I really enjoyed my sweet surrender and would have ubered here instead to have another - the brown butter Bacardi and pecan was great. They cooked and left no crumbs.

I just got the burger as it came, it seemed like it would be good as is. And it was! Had a spicy kick as you'd expect. It was very busy when I was there so there was a bit of a wait for orders to be taken and for the food to come out however, again, it was pretty packed so I'm not gonna begrudge anyone some delays when things are busy. I sat outside as it was a nice evening albeit slightly chilly and I didn't have a sweatshirt or jacket but that's my own fault. No. But what has us coming back is their consistency and attention to detail. The space is gorgeous and each room brings a different vibe to the dining experience. We were sat in the darkest of the rooms that was very romantic, and thankfully the music wasn't too loud. When we were seated we found a frame on the table holding a message congratulations us on our anniversary, with our names included. It was very sweet! Our server was prompt, attentive, and very charming. She asked us questions about ourselves and also gave great recommendations throughout the night. The drinks were good! However, the Passionate Kiss started to taste very chemical forward the longer it sat (I'm a slow drinker) so I only finished half of it. Not sure if it was because of the print on the foam originally or what, but it wasn't pleasant. I got the scallops and loved them, especially since I was able to try their orzo with it that normally comes with the salmon instead. The scallops were tender and the flavor was rich and well balanced with the rest of the plate. My boyfriend loved his chops and devoured everything. He also got the Potatoes Au Gratin and couldn't get enough. They were very rich and had great flavor. I had previously seen reviews from others saying the potatoes and other dishes were bland but that was not our experience. The rolls were one of the best parts. I wish I could whip butter like that at home. Towards the end they brought us a couple of glasses of Prosecco to cheers with, and a complimentary dessert (the Samoa sundae). We also ordered the Chocolate Decadence which was incredibly good. The goal is to come back next year, and plenty of times before that as well. Thanks to the Evelyn team for such a great dinner!

Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the experience for us. To be fair, several friends highly recommended the restaurant and spoke very highly of the food, so this may have just been an off night. Still, first impressions matter. I ordered the salmon cooked medium, but it arrived slightly overcooked. My husband requested a medium steak, but it came out medium rare in the center while somehow being medium well on the outside. The meatballs felt like they were missing something flavor-wise, though the calamari was good. The sides -- mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes -- were also a bit underwhelming. My daughter's lobster pasta was just okay as well. On a positive note, the service was solid and the Old Hollywood cocktail was perfection. I'm open to giving Evelyn another try because the atmosphere really is beautiful, but my husband has officially retired from future visits.
