Sunny side up eggs, bacon, Sausage Links

The server was friendly and had a great attitude, he was timely and checked in frequently to make sure we had what we needed. The blueberry pancake waffles were delicious, soft center and crunchy corners, couldn't have been happier. I got the combo so it came with a side of eggs, bacon, and sausage. The bacon and sausage were really good, but my sunny side up eggs had a little bit of shell in them. Not a big deal, it happens, the waffle was so good I didn't mind. The only downside was the restroom, when I went into the bathroom the toilet seat was on the floor. Not the staffs fault, I'm sure a customer did it and didn't tell anyone. Overall a really nice place to get brunch, they have a huge variety of mimosa flavors, and an even larger menu to choose from. I would recommend the blueberry waffles for sure, a classic dish that was really well done.

Nice atmosphere, we sat outside because it was a nice day. The service was a little slow for not being busy at all. The food was great! My husband got the lavender honey pancake combo which came with 2 eggs, 2 sausage and 2 bacon. It was really good and the whipped cream was different but good. I had the crab eggs Benedict. I love a good eggs bene!! Everything was cooked perfectly including the poached egg. I wish the hollandaise was a little ampted up but it was decent. I got a Bloody Mary which was rather spicy. I would eat here again and try something new. They have several bene's to choose from!

There's nothing that really stood out to me about this establishment. The service was standard, but I found the food to be underwhelming. The eggs and potatoes were bland and lacked flavor. I also think they can revamp their menu as there are tons of items that are very similar to each other, and could probably be condensed by 2/3 by having a basic add-ons section instead. Anyway, went to try it out but probably won't come back.

Let's start off with Danielle. She was an amazing person and checked on us appropriately. Our food was tasty and amazing. The inside was clean and had some good amounts of room. However I do not like the two seater chairs as barely any room to place things. Overall mimosa house at this location was great. I am Bobbie and I approve this place.

This was the worst breakfast. Home fries were over cooked and so was the omelet. Service was very slow and inattentive. Never again!

The service was excellent; both friendly and attentive. The drinks were on point. And the most important thing of all, was that they have the PERFECT biscuits and gravy. I have been to two other locations (closer to home and work) that have completed changed the country gravy recipe and not only was the color of all wrong, the flavor was bland and unappetizing. Another location adds diced onions to their country gravy for reasons I cannot understand, but it absolutely ruins it for me. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and had the perfect personality for the atmosphere. Great service can truly elevate a dining experience, and Ryan did exactly that. The food was delicious. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was exceptional. The batter was light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned--honestly, I enjoyed it even more than traditional beer-battered fish. The fish itself was flaky and cooked just right. As for the fries, I'm personally a steak-fry enthusiast, so shoestring fries aren't usually my favorite. It would have been nice to have an option to choose between fry styles, but that's me. I also ordered a chocolate martini, which was absolutely delicious. The owner personally prepared it, and it was rich, smooth, and hit the spot . Between the cute ambiance, excellent service, and tasty food, Mimosa House made for a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

We arrived around 7 p.m. and the restaurant was busy, with a special event taking place on the patio, but there was still plenty of seating available and we were quickly seated near the bar. My bestie and I were tired, hungry and thirsty. We started with drinks and took advantage of happy hour. The Cadillac Margarita was outstanding, served in a large cocktail glass with a mini bottle of Cointreau perched on top for the perfect finishing touch. My friend ordered a virgin lavender drink, which was refreshing, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For appetizers, we ordered the shrimp quesadillas, and they ended up being one of our favorite dishes of the evening. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the chipotle adobo sauce added just the right amount of smoky flavor and spice. For my entrée, I chose the Chile Relleno, which came with rice and refried beans. While it was good, it wasn't my favorite chile relleno compared to others I've tried. The real star of the meal was the seafood molcajete. Loaded with shrimp, meat, cheese, and a bubbling hot salsa, it arrived sizzling at the table and was incredibly flavorful. Served with warm tortillas and extra salsa, it was hearty, filling, and perfect for sharing. We finished with the churros for dessert. They were crispy on the outside, hot and soft on the inside, and paired perfectly with the rich cajeta dipping sauce. Throughout the evening, the service was exceptional. Both the bartender and our waiter were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. You can tell this is a family-run business that takes pride in its hospitality, food, and drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with classic Mexican-inspired décor throughout the restaurant. The bar is lined with an impressive display of tequila bottles, and the space is filled with decorative touches that celebrate Mexican culture and traditions. It feels lively and authentic without being overdone, making it a comfortable place to relax after a day on the lake. If you're in the Folsom area and looking for great Mexican food, excellent cocktails, and warm service, Mexquite is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back.

That's certainly not a bad thing, that's a good problem to have. That means that you are doing good things on keeping your Customers coming back. After dropping my wife off and me going to park, I finally walked in and let me tell you the atmosphere of the place and the ambiance was completely beautiful. Very nice decorations and I loved the lighting in the restaurant as well. After a period of time our Waitress Veronica came over and started talking to us about Chips & Salsa. I asked about the Chips & Salsa price of $3.99 as previously mentioned by other reviewers and she said that when you order Salsa or Guacamole it automatically comes with Chips. So I ordered the Molcajete Guacamole because it was the bigger one and when it arrived, my words were "Oh My!" it was very big. Not knowing the price because it wasnt on the Menu it came with a price of $12.99. It was a 3 Big Mounds of Guacamole and if I knew that it was that price, I certainly wouldnt have ordered that. We ordered our drinks and Veronica came back with those and then we ordered our food. I ordered the Pollo En Crema and my wife ordered the Pick 2 which she chose the Chille Relleno and the Chimichanga. After about 7 to 8 minutes our food came out and let me tell you, my Pollo En Crema was hot and so was my Tortillas. I ordered Corn & a mixture of Flour Tortillas to eat with my food. When my wife began eating her food, she said that it was spicy which let me tell you, she doesnt do spice but I dont mind it, occasionally. So I removed the Chille Poblano from underneath her food and it helped lighten up the spiciness just a little bit. She then ordered a Pineapple Margarita and when it came let me tell you that we were very disappointed in its size. It came in a little Old Fashioned or maybe you might know the term Lowball Glass. After eating our food, let me tell you when I asked my wife about the quality and taste of her food on a scale from 1 to 5 she gave it a 2.5 and while I enjoyed my food it was on a scale of a 4. We appreciate the service that Veronica provided, we feel like she did her best. While this wasnt really our favorite experience, the thing that might get us to return would be the Breakfast options.

My biggest compliment to this place though is that they serve a great coffee while being a full breakfast restaurant. I usually find places with great coffee and some small bites or full breakfasts and meh coffee so Mimosa House having both a bomb cappuccino and a great breakfast is awesome! Unfortunately, our dinner experience was disappointing because of repeated mistakes from the kitchen. Our waitress was wonderful and did everything she could to make things right, but there were so many issues with our order that it became difficult to fully enjoy the meal. We started with the blistered shishitos, which were solid. They use larger shishito peppers than what I've typically seen at other restaurants, and they were nicely prepared. Next was the seasonal stone fruit salad, which tasted great, but it arrived without the burrata. When we asked about it, our waitress checked with the kitchen and came back to let us know they had run out of burrata and provided a substitution of a different cheese. I appreciated her honesty and effort, but I wish the kitchen had been upfront about the situation instead of serving the dish without mentioning it, hoping that I wouldn't notice and charge me full price for the salad. The lobster rolls were another letdown. They arrived without the chive aioli, and the rolls themselves were not that great. The butter was served on the side, which also felt a bit odd. The standout dish of the night was the Revival Burger. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out closer to medium-well. Even so, it was still flavorful and probably the best thing we ordered. We also agreed to pay an extra $5 for the truffle fries, but regular fries arrived instead. By that point, I felt bad asking our waitress to make yet another trip back to the kitchen, so I just asked her to remove the truffle fry upcharge from the bill. The Midsummer Melon cocktail was generously sized, refreshing, and enjoyable, although we honestly wondered whether it contained much alcohol since neither of us felt much from it. To the restaurant's credit, our waitress handled every issue professionally and graciously. She apologized throughout the meal and ultimately removed the cost of one appetizer from our bill to make up for the repeated mistakes, which I appreciated. While the service at the table was great, the number of kitchen errors--from missing ingredients and incorrect substitutions to forgotten sauces, an overcooked burger, and the wrong fries--made the overall experience frustrating. Because of the lack of consistency and attention to detail from the kitchen, I don't think I'd return, despite the lovely atmosphere and excellent service from our waitress.
