No a Ranch Burger. Grilled salmon salad

Our meals were delicious, prepared well. We had a Niman Ranch burger which was tasty, though quite small, a mushroom salad and a delicious salmon salad. Prices are very reasonable and service was fast and friendly. We ate indoors which had a nice, airy vibe. Outdoor sidewalk dining space was busy, also with a fun, city vibe. We'd return for sure, especially prior to a show at the Sofia!

We stopped by Cafe Bernardo after running a morning 5k. My mother and I each got avocado toast, one with egg and one without. My husband got a breakfast burrito. All of us really enjoyed our meals. The food is definitely delicious. I had no idea this location was a part of a hotel, so that was interesting! The restroom is in the hotel side of the building. The service was great, everything came out fast and correctly. I would definitely come back!

This was such a lovely place. The staff and management were so nice and friendly. I ordered the salmon burger which was delicious and the sweet potato fries were crispy and wonderful. It is a little pricey but it was good. I would definitely recommend for a nice lunch.

Love this particular location. It is near sutter which is great if you have a loved one who is staying at that hospital. Just a cute little 5 minute walk. Ambience is a 5/5 al fresco dining. Food is also great! Especially for brunch I couldn't decide without ordering everything. Also, food came quickly and service is great. 5/5 all over.

I didn't know this location existed but it is a great location. They open at 7am which coincides with the start of surgeries across the street at Sutter. The place is pretty big with various types of seating and a large patio. I had the bacon avocado omelette $16 and a coffee. The food was fresh and tasty. Nothing special but after waking up at 4:30am for patient drop off the food hit the spot. I saw lots of Sutter staff meeting here. If you need a spot for a bite and a place to chill while waiting for a loved one Cafe Bernardo is perfect.

Weekend brunch date found us looking for somewhere new and fun, specifically somewhere we could enjoy the food and nice weather! My partner recommended this place, and so we headed out. You walk up to the register first to place your order, then grab your number and find a table to your liking. I really enjoyed that freedom and there was hardly no wait. The customer service was very friendly, we explained it was our first time. They recommended some items and answered any questions. I wound up getting a bacon avocado omelet with fresh fruit and an Arnold Palmer. My date has the eggs Benedict with fresh fruit as well. Both of us really enjoyed our meals and our drinks. There was lots of flavor and fresh ingredients! Tip some drinks do come with a free refill; arnold Palmer, but you have to go back to the register to ask for it. We really enjoyed our meals, drinks and time there. Will for sure be back and thank you for a nice brunch experience.

I went with my wife and friends last night to enjoy a meal and cocktail before our show at The Sophia. We sat in the bar area of the hotel as it was festive for Christmas. Service was great and attentive. My salmon dish has been amazing the last few times that I have ordered it. I always ask for no salt and it works out perfectly. The quality of the food you get for the price is great. Their main dishes/ big plates are under $30 which I think nowadays is rare. Paragary's restaurants have a reward program so if you dine frequently, it's worth signing up.

Overall? A pretty solid breakfast spot. The ambiance is a standout, the blend of indoor and outdoor seating feels intentional and well designed, perfect for a relaxed start to the day. The menu leans slightly eclectic but stays grounded in the breakfast staples, which we appreciated. Ordering at the counter is a plus as it saves time and keeps things moving. No issues with the service Parking? Street parking mainly, though since it's attached to a hotel, there may be additional options for guests We had: Two Egg Breakfast (3.5/5): Presentation was clean and inviting, but execution was hit or miss. My eggs were slightly overdone with crisped edges, taking away from what could've been a simple, well prepared plate. Toast had a good crunch but lacked depth, no real flavor standout. The fruit preserves were a pleasant surprise and added a bright, fresh note. Bacon was decent, cooked well, though it could've used more of that rich, savory fat to bring it home Single Pancake with a Side of Scrambled Eggs (4.5/5): My daughter's dish, but I snuck a few bites, and it was good. The pancake was light and airy, with just enough sweetness and a nice golden finish. The eggs were soft-scrambled with a creamy, buttery texture that showed a bit more finesse

Came here for lunch since it was near Sutter Hospital. Order at the counter and grab your own seat. Self serve water station available for dine in customers. My sister ordered the grilled salmon salad and I ordered Thai noodle salad with a side of fries. Both salads were heavy with the salt. Too salty. Besides the saltiness, the tastes were pretty good. Nice presentation. Service was quick.

Whew talk about a long awaited review. Our Server Julian was fabulous. My partner in crime and I decided to head over to this spot close to our homes and were pleasantly surprised by the selection. We ordered Turkey burger Habanero burger and a couple of cocktails to enjoy the afternoon and we were happy to report this place got an A rating. The service was great and the food for the price was superb

We came for lunch on a Friday. There was both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside was very clean and modern. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside. You order before sitting down. The food came out quickly and was pretty tasty. I also really enjoyed the chai latte.

Showed up with a friend for brunch! It was not very busy inside and we were able to order almost immediately. It was my first time visiting this location, so I was a little surprised that it's fast casual style with a counter to order at instead of a sit-down restaurant like the other location in Sac. Still, the staff member at the counter was friendly and efficient. I ordered the brioche French toast without the toasted coconut topping. It took a little while to come out to me, but was worth the wait! The toast itself was fluffy and flavorful, while the almonds, syrup, and peaches added just enough sweetness to be pleasant. I also really enjoyed that the toast was not too eggy, as I tend to dislike when egg overpowers the flavor of the French toast.

Ask the Community - Cafe Bernardo

Are dinner plates still served here? Or is it now just breakfasts, sandwiches, and salads? I saw items like Stroganoff, Flat Iron Steak, and Grilled Salmon on older menu photos (2021?) but not on newer photos. Are these things still offered?

    Is there Happy Hour?

Not yet. However, Four Palms (the bar at the hotel) does offer a bar bites menu at 5pm. I'm usually there for lunch, so I haven't experienced it yet, but when I looked at it, it sounded pretty good.

You can either order with the staff or they have a kiosk to order from as well. Staff is super friendly! They let me taste their teas to see what I would like for my tea base drinks. Coffe drinks I tried: 1) Durian coffee -this was one the THE BEST variation of durian coffee that I've tried - liked that the blended the durian flavor in the cream foam and included pieces of fruit -the smell isn't over baring and just enough flavor mixed into the coffee where you don't feel duped, but has a well balance coffee to durian taste 2) Egg coffee -a solid egg coffee!! Would recommend 3) Coconut coffee -this is a blended ice drink -I typically like coconut Vietnamese coffee, however this wasn't the best variation I have as I did wish it was a little sweeter 4) Taro coffee -rather than a cream top like some of their other drinks, this was more of taro paste with bits in the Vietnamese coffee -it wasn't too sweet so had a stronger coffee taste Tea bases: -was told they seep their tea for about 8 hours to give it that strong flavor ! -green tea - usually not a green tea person when it comes to boba drinks (only by itself) since at times the fruit flavor over mask the tea but this place makes it potent -black tea - they say this one it not popular which is a bummer cause I love black tea -herbal tea- good flavor -jasmine - didn't get to try this tea base but I am sure it taste just as good as the others 1) Peach green tea -beyond refreshing! -loved the fruit bits and peach sliced in the drink 2) Lychee green tea -lychee fruit and lychee jelly included! -Loved the strong tea taste with the fruitiness Pandan waffle Durian waffle -both of these were delicious, good flavor and best right away while it is hot! Overall: One of the best Vietnamese coffee places in the area that I enjoy going to. Quality drinks that do not disappoint.

The design is old fashioned yet modern with a digital ordering interface. While the banana matcha was not my taste, the egg coffee was great! The coffee was strong yet good with a pandan waffle side! I anticipated staying up all night and did. This is for those who drink espresso or ca phe sua regularly. The tasty waffle helped balance the caffeine a little. The bathroom is cute and decorated with so much aesthetic, but the downside is no toilet seat covers.

I walk up to the counter and asked for the Mango Sticky Rice and the guy who helped me, idk what his name is had an attitude and was like we're out of it. I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

Previously, I've only had hojicha in Napa at the Oxbow, so it's not the easiest to come by. If I could describe hojicha, it would be matcha's earthier, non-grassy cousin. Love, love LOVE it. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!
