Another great experience with The OC Bee Guy! John was out same day, within 3 hours of me contacting him. We've been having bees mysteriously showing up dead in the backyard by the tens. John came out did a quick survey of our roof and surrounding area and saw what the probable problem was...new bright white LED lights on the house. Explained clearly how bees confuse this light for the sun and will fly at it until they die. Checked the usual spots for a hive just in case, but let us know that putting a yellow tint on the lights would most likely be the best course of action to help them out. If you have bee problems I feel bad for you son. Because I got 99 problems but a bee ain't one after calling John from OC Bee guy. I noticed a bunch of bees living in my chimney for about a week. I called out a few places to get estimates. Pro Pacific Bee Removal was the first company I called and their technician/salesperson gave me an estimate of a $1000. After that estimate I hesitated on getting more estimates until yesterday when I finally got stung by a bee. I looked on yelp and saw a few places and luckily someone reviewed The OC Bee Guy. I gave them a call around 6:00 P.M on a Saturday evening and John answered my call and told me he would be over in 30 minutes. He came over assessed the problem and charged me $100 to get rid of the bees with a 30 day warranty. Very knowledgeable about bees and so professional. We had a major infestation of bees that got under our roof. The gentleman has s person who works for him that came out and removed part of the roof in order to remove the bees. They did an excellent job of removing the bees, the beehive and the honey No poison was used or smoke, which was great. They replace the part of the roof that they had removed and sealed it up so the bees couldn't return and re -enter the area. I woke up this morning to a bee in my kitchen and thought it might have came in when I left my screen door open to let the dog out. A few minutes later another bee and I could hear buzzing in a light fixture near the window. I go outside and I notice about 10 bees around the attic vents. For nearly a week, we had a constantly had a couple dozen bees hovering nearby our front door. All of a sudden, a huge cluster of bees (hundreds) showed up out of nowhere. After a few minutes, the cluster of bees slowly went away but we decided to call John just to be safe. He showed up a few days later and inspected the situation and informed us about bees in general and about the services he provides. We wanted the bees to unharmed and safely relocated but that was a service done for a huge cluster of bees whereas we only had a dozen or two. We decided to spray the deadly chemical to kill a few dozen bees as opposed to the possibility of several hundreds of bees in the future. A couple days later, there was a pile of dead bees a lot larger than I thought it would be. Apparently, morebees were inside a small crevice that they swarmed around in. It really was quite unfortunate because I didn't want them exterminated but it didn't seem like we had much of a choice (price is more expensive for relocation + we weren't aware of the larger population).
