We have had repeatedly had issues with bees in our rafters. When I saw a swarm in our backyard I knew we were in trouble! Within less than 1 week, a swarm of bees decided to party in my compost bin. I frantically called "The OC Bee Guy" and John answered even though I called 8 minutes before closing. John calmly instructed me to open the bin at night and emphasized AT NIGHT to disband the bee party naturally. WOW, WOW, WOW,....this day and age FREE ADVICE IS RARE!!!! We were looking to get our trees trimmed and had a bee's nest 45 feet up a giant tree. Called several bee removal services and a pest removal service. I am writing this review not because John was able to treat our house (found out after I called him that our association takes care of that), but did want to share how responsive he was to my inquiries and his follow through was excellent. When I first called, he provided a quote that was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than what Dewey Pest Control quoted me and said he could treat the same day. 20 mins before the appointed time to meet, I got a call back from my HOA stating that they will take care of this, to which I felt bad calling John back to cancel, but he was very gracious and understanding. John came out today, the same day I found him on YELP! I had noticed our dog being very interested in a ceramic small table the last couple of days. I thought it could be a lizard or something. This morning I let her out and I could clearly see the bees were making a hive in the table! I read his reviews and everyone is right! He found some time today to come by and remove them humanely!! I can tell he loves what he does. He told me I was safe to watch him. He had a plastic bag with a screen and just tipped the table over and they fell into the bag with a new honeycomb! We saw bees swarming around our smoker after the rains, looking for a home. Hundreds of them! I am really allergic to bees, so we needed someone out right away. I contacted John Sunday evening through YELP and he got back to me right away. He came out today (Monday) and was able to confirm that the bees had moved on - the smoker wasn't an awesome place to live...too hot. He did find two mini bee hives that had been abandoned and suggested that the kids might find them interesting.
