Was the only bee company to get to my house the same day calling. A swarm of bees located a home where last years swarm made a home. Apparently, each year a new swarm will come each year thinking it is home due to previous bees making it home. I didn't know that. I paid to have bees humanely removed last year and this year. This may be my first yelp review throughout the years. I want to whole heartily thank John for his kind help on resolving my Bee issue this week. A swarm of bees (couple hundred I guess) showed up this past Sunday at my backyard and landed on a tree. Their rest form makes me feel they are building a hive and want to stay permanently. Checked with a few pest control biz while heading to homedepot for repellent. John asked for photos and time/place of the bee "incident". I went out in the morning to find 100's of bees flying inside and around my gazebo. I was in a panic because it's right next to my pool and I'm having my family over for a pool party this weekend. Highly recommended! I asked for a quote (through Yelp) from a few surrounding bee removal companies. John got back to me very quickly and we had a quick text conversation regarding my bee problem. We arranged for John to come out and assess my situation the next day. He came to my house the next morning on time. After a quick look, he determined that the bees had set up on the corner of my house for at least a year! He recommended that the bees be relocated and not exterminated. He scheduled for his bee guys to come out the next day to perform the bee removal. He also advised us to keep some of the honey that was removed from our house so we could try our special "roof honey." His bee guys arrived promptly the following morning and took about 2 hours to clear the hive from my roof, as well as repair the area the bees had made their home in. His guys were professional, courteous, very nice, and super knowledgeable about bees. Instead of keeping the 40-50 pounds of honeycomb they removed from our roof, they broke off a sizeable chunk of honeycomb for us to keep and gave us another 2 pound bottle of their own local honey (which I assume they harvested from the surrounding areas). The "roof honey" and their honey were both amazing to taste! The flavor was definitely distinct from one another and miles better than the honey you buy from the store. Lastly, they provide a one year warranty of their services. If the bees come back within the year, they'll come and take care of you without additional fees. read more

I highly recommend the 'OC Bee Guy'. When a swarm of bees decided to make the inside of our front stucco pillar their home, I gave OC Bee Guy a call. Technician Brandon Elias responded promptly to give a FREE estimate on a resolution. Upon talking to him it was obvious he was experienced, and highly knowledgable. Option #1 was removing the swarm (opening up stucco and carefully vacuuming), and relocating them to a local beekeeper. And option #2 was extermination. Option #1 was obviously more labor intensive and costly, but the quote was fair. We decided on Option #1 (relocating the bees). On the day of removal Brandon was on time and got right to work.
