We stopped by The Palm for a late lunch during shopping at The Forum Shops. I had to try the famous Gigi Salad. I really enjoyed it but felt it could use more veggies and green beans. My husband had the grilled shrimp. This dish was solid but not amazing compared to the other seafood restaurants we had during our trip. Loved every aspect of my dining experience, and I did not care about the cost. One can never put a price on fine dining cuisine. I am in love with the selection that my super amazing server Costa recommended I try. Very easy for me to try the Ora King Salmon. Beyond happy with my dinner choice, which was Sicilian salmon that consists of roasted artichoke risotto, classic chimichurri, and I add the Caesar salad. In a vacuum The Palm is a good steak house, however compared to the other high end steak houses in Vegas, at this price point, it doesn't meet the mark. The food was average, the Ceasar salad was a bit soggy, but the lobster and everything else we ordered was good. I thought the vibe and decor was cute with murals of celebrities and regulars painted on the walls. The service was great, the host, wait staff and manager all knocked it out of the park. I'm giving The Palm only three stars because it felt very chain-y and more of a convenient spot for tourists looking for a decent sit down meal. If the price point was lower it would've gotten 5 stars. I guess I'm just spoiled living in Las Vegas you can get a much better all around experience at this price point. read more

I visited The Palm at Caesars and ordered the Power Lunch special. While the entrée and overall value were decent, I was really disappointed with the mixed greens salad. It unexpectedly had bamboo shoots in it -- which completely threw off the flavor and texture. I've never seen that in a green salad before, and honestly, it was not pleasant at all. It's surprising to see such an odd ingredient in a classic salad, especially at a restaurant of this level. I hope they consider adjusting the recipe or at least warning guests beforehand. Not everyone wants their salad to feel like a fusion experiment gone wrong. read more

We had our wedding reception dinner inside the Sinatra Room at The Palm and we could not have been happier with our experience! First of all, the food is phenomenal! Our guests raved about everything from the apps, to the lobster bisque, to the filet, sea bass, berry zabaglione! It was all delicious! Also, the wines they chose for us were some of the best I have ever had. I worked with Jennifer Calderon, the sales rep who was extremely helpful in planning our event. She even gave us the larger room at no additional charge so that my husband and I could have our first dance and do the father daughter dance. Inside the mall area of Caesar's Palace sits The Palm. First class restaurant with top class service. There's a large bar area with plenty of seating. The dining area too is large. The menu skews toward steaks with a few seafood, italian, and other entree options. The Oscar sea bass is a light, flakey fish topped with, melted butter and seasoning adorned with chunks of crab meat around the base. Excellent flavor. No fishy smell at all. An absolute terrific entrée. Also included are about a half a dozen asparagus stocks. They too, were fresh, crunchy, and tasty. I had a dinner salad with vinaigrette dressing as well. The vegetables were fresh and cold. We started the dinner with a variety of appetizers. The calamari was fantastic, the octopus was very good, the meatball went over, very well, and the thick bacon was also also enjoyed by all. The Palm Restaurant is one of the best in Las Vegas! If you are in the Forum Shops or going to a show at the Colosseum it is a great choice. It has always been consistent. So, my husband and I have been to the Palm a total of 3 times, including recently. The first time we went was like 10 years ago. The food and service were absolutely phenomenal. The second time we went was approximately 5 years ago. They had just undergone a renovation and the food was not as good as before, but the service was still good. This review is about the most recent experience. We were eager to try the Palm again in hopes to experience the first time we had ever gone here. The filet mignon from our first visit had been exceptional - and probably the best filet mignon I had ever had. Maybe the food after the renovation had been a one-off? The dinner menu starts at 3pm, so we were seated at 3pm as we had an evening flight to catch. The place wasn't full, so we were seated immediately. Our server took our orders and all the food arrived quickly afterwards. We enjoyed a complimentary bread basket that had a variety of delicious bread. Unfortunately, the filet mignon was not as good as the very first time we enjoyed it, but still tasty and gobbled up. The creamed spinach was not very thick and seemed more watery, but I still enjoyed it. And the fries were well-seasoned and crisp. They were a good portion size, too. We had finished the filet mignon, were sipping on delicious drinks, I had a few bites of creamed spinach left, and we were still grazing on the fries when the waitress approached, took our plates including the ones with the spinach and fries, and left. She didn't even ask us if we were still working on anything or wanted anything boxed up. And we felt too shocked to say anything. Then she came by and dropped off the check, although we still wanted to order another drink as we had more time to kill before our flight. Before she could walk away again, I asked her if we could order another drink, which she did put in. Then she brought out our drinks, dropped off the check again quickly thereafter, and then told us "there was no rush" [to pay the check]. Anyway, the food here is okay, but the service I experienced here on this occasion has shown the service has gone downhill. I just felt incredibly rushed, and while I appreciate their quickness in getting our food to us, I just wish they had asked before taking it away so abruptly. You'll enjoy the food here, but please constantly hold down your plates just in case it's taken away before you can process anything! read more
