We happened onto this restaurant by accident and were not only pleasantly surprised by the high quality of food, which was delicious, but the staff were all wonderfully friendly and attentive. I live just around the corner, so you know I can eat anywhere in Santa Fe any day of the week. Here's what I love about Pantry Dos: they treat you like family. They're glad to see you, the service is great, and the place is always sparkling clean. All that aside, the green chile is always delicious, the queso is my favorite in town (we frequently order a couple of 6 oz containers to take home with us), and I love their chile relleno omelette. Husband likes the fish and chips and we both think their chicken fry is the best in town. Now they're doing very innovative patio dining during the shut down and we were able to sit outside yesterday morning and enjoy the sunshine while having huevos rancheros green and the traditional breakfast. You can't go wrong, even if you have to leave your downtown hotel and venture south! read more

The Staff is Not State Mandating of wearing masks coming into the building and leaving, or using the restrooms. It was very disappointment from the original Pantry. I had the crunchy chicken tacos, the (2) tacos were the size for a child and the taco shells were burnt. I literally could count the six tiny strands of lettuce and four tiny little cubes of tomato. The Original Pantry serves (3) Large Adult tacos. Are these th same owners????? I won't return. read more

Wow! Just had the most amazing breakfast! We had the Tradition breakfast (potatoes incredible!), pancakes with two eggs and crispy bacon, and the breakfast quesadilla !! Can't say enough about how everything was FABULOUS! Flavors melded perfectly together love both red and Spicy green sauce, fluffy pancakes. Service was perfect! The cod in the Fish n' Chip entree was cooked perfectly, light and crispy, just delicious. The chips were fine, nothing to write home about. (Maybe they could improve on them, making them actual chip-like from fresh potatoes to order? This would be a truly wonderful development.) They do carry my new favorite beer but didn't have it while I was there. Looking forward to visiting again. The decor is modern, filled with natural light, and cheerful. Reliable food and good service. Be sure to check your meals for take out - they often forget condiments. The best menu items are the breakfast choices. Great pancakes! When dining in during peak hours it get rather noisy but the place is clean and the service is fast and efficient. read more

I was not impressed with this location at all. It looks like they didn't even finish building there is loose wires in the ceiling as well as it being very loud and noisy can barely hear the person sitting next to you it is very echoing. The food was mediocre and for the staff they were very rude and not attentive at all. We ordered chips and dips , chicken wrap and corned beef and potatoes and it took over an hour for the food to come. And they brought it all together when we stated we wanted the chips and dip first . They actually came out after our meal had already at the table and after we had to remind them that we ordered them . We never got refills on our drinks and the staff was all just sitting at tables talking to people I assume were their friends or regulars. I have been to the other location numerous times and I won't return to this location since the employees are rude and non attentive . read more

Place looked like a fast food restaurant, but served some killer food. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the green chili stew. That was one of the best meals that I had in Santa Fe. Very flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Table also had enchiladas and grilled cheese sandwich which was also excellent. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

In pursuit of yummy red and green chili, we decided to try the Pantry Dos. We were NOT disappointed! We had the NM burger, sopaidilla, combo platter, avobada plate and enchiladas. All choices were delicious! The red chili sauce had a more robust flavor profile while the green was spicier. This restaurant is a must when in Santa Fe. Even though they are related to the Pantry, the Pantry Dos stands alone. An open eating area and enclosed back patio gives everyone enough space to eat a delectable meal. The coffee is delicious. The desserts are scrumptious. There is New Mexican food and some American dishes as well. Customer service is top-notch and take-out is available through ChowNow. All age groups welcome. read more

What an outstanding restaurant. The Pantry Dos just opened up very recently (within the last month), and already I have been there on three separate occasions- the food is that good! The red and green chile are excellent and hot, and all of the New Mexican entrees (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are worth trying. This restaurant was amazing! We are on a small getaway trip from Texas and stopped in at this restaurant for dinner and we are so glad we did! The service was very friendly and fast and the food was delicious! Like seriously, my boyfriend and i both were like "holy shhh this so so good" every single bite we took. Always a good choice. One of my favorite dishes is the Grilled Salmon Salad. Another is the Chicken Fried Steak. My family love the Fish & Chips. And you can always count on a great Burger!! We make a special trip to Santa Fe when visiting relatives in Albuquerque just to eat here. They are very helpful when asking about substitutions. I got the 2 enchilada platter with one adobada and one cheese enchilada with green sauce and substituted a scoop of mashed potatoes for the rice and beans. It was all great. I don't dislike the rice and beans but I'd had rice and beans twice in the last 2 days and son was making some for dinner so I was happy they could accomodate the change. Mashed potatoes with green salsa is pretty good too! Spouse got chicken fried steak and was happy with his meal. The only issue is trying to decide what to order. So many choices, so little time. If we were there more we'd probably go for breakfast too. It all looks good. read more

Tasty food - Tup's Burrito was delicious! However, sadly the norm for Santa Fe, the service was terrible. We were sat in the back patio area, got our drink and food ordered in a timely manner, but were never checked on again. I ran out of iced tea about halfway through eating my meal, we had clearly finished and was awaiting a box and a check. A waitress that I suppose wasn't for our table walked past about 3 times, looked at our table of empty drinks and finished food, and never stopped or got another server. It's unfortunate how I'm actually surprised in Santa Fe if a place has good service. Wish that were the norm. read more

As a native New Mexican, I can say that the food tastes like our traditional Northern NM cuisine. Every plate I have ordered is delicious! Believe me, I keep going back. A very attentive staff and superb food makes for a genuinely delicious experience. I loved that the Arnold Palmer tea was not mixed before serving--I got to see the ratio of lemonade and tea. Our server anticipated that we planned to share the entrees and salad snd offered to split both. I think we got an extra amount of green chile for it. His recommendation of the white sausage gravy as a topper for the brisket was right on for me. Pleasant setting across from a sculpture park out in the desert, plus great service and tasty food--what more could I want?!? read more

Easy to order and take out. Same great food as the original. So glad they opened a second location!
