Place seemed good to me until I came and asked for a grill chicken plate and only thing I asked was to replace yellow rice for white rice so lady told me company doesn't allow them to replace white rice???? They lost a client for something that simple???

A good friend recommended this very small place on Van nuys boulevard. I am so glad she recommended this place. It is very clean, the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful and patient. The food was absolutely outstanding, and big portions I might add. I could have gotten enough charge for $3.50, but the torta totally filled me up and I would have wasted food. And the only downside is street parking is not the easiest. We went at 5:00 p.m. and there was no meter parking on Van nuys. Fortunately we got it a spot just around the corner. That will not stop us from coming back time and again, there are so many great looking dishes to try and I can't wait. I give this place six stars if I could. You will not regret going here.

I've been seeing this place for ages because I live fairly close and drive by it weekly, I was having a craving for some tacos and decided to pop in and see what they were about. Small shop with plenty of seating. Service was warm and welcoming. I had the fish taco platter, which came with a salad . I ordered a Al Pastor store and Asada taco separately. The fish tacos were amazing, I would come back just to try the tacos again . The Al Pastor and Asada taco were fairly dry but still enjoyable. I wasn't sure what the name of the placement, but it has some sort of religious affiliation and playing Christian music. So it's even better if you need a little bit of Jesus with your Tacos.

Food was incredible, service was great! So glad I stumbled upon this place. I got the fish tacos with salad and everything was so fresh. Salsa is killer! They also have cold brew options for the coffee lovers.

My favorite place to have lunch when I'm at work! Go! Try the Al pastor meat bowl and chia lemon cucumber drink. The cashier is such a sweetheart! The place is always clean too it's cozy seating with outdoor tables too.

I bought the breakfast burrito, wasn't that good but was filling, service was fast and the establishment was cute and fun just super small in a busy area

I found out about this place when they first open and it has been consistent since then. I came back last week and they still had pozole on the menu during these cool winter days. Their food is fantastic and I highly recommend it to the San Fernando Valley. it's spot on and has a great selection of Mexican Cuisine.

Service was friendly and fast. Carne asada plate was delicious! The meat was so juicy and tender . Great Lime and garlic flavor. Very laidback quiet atmosphere to enjoy a meal

Date: November 16, 2022 Hubs and I were looking for a restaurant to try out so did some yelping and Pastor's Grill was the number one showing. Saw that it was new and very close by so asked him to go grab some burritos for us. They were in their grand opening phase still so the order was 15% off. Photos looked yummy on their website and seeing positive reviews thus far, we had to give it a try ourselves. We ordered two burritos. A carne asada for me and a carnitas for the love. It states it comes with your choice of meat, pico de gallo, Jack cheese, black or pinto beans, Mexican rice, and sour cream. I love pico de gallo paired with sour cream so I was super excited. Not a fan of beans so requested those off. When he arrived home I immediately cut mine in half because I was so excited. Sadly, once I cut it open I noticed it was just rice and meat. And not only that; the meat was super over cooked and very hard. Praying that the others were just mixed on the bottom, I took a couple bites In hopes of finding them, only to be disappointed that there was nothing there. Hubs also had no pico de gallo or sour cream. Sad to say we were both pretty upset and disappointed. We had high hopes of this place and was hoping to visit regularly seeing it was so close by and their prices were very average. Maybe one day we'll be back again.

I really enjoyed the carne asada but it wasn't the best I've ever had! It's definitely worth the try if you're around but i don't know if I'll be back maybe I could try something else. My friend did love the torta!

While in the area for a workout, I found myself famished and decided to stop here for a quick bite to take home with me. I ordered a bowl to go and it was made promptly although the order didn't end up being completely correct. I ordered a create your own bowl with some wild rice and kale, cucumbers, apples, chickpeas and sweet potatoes. I had also ordered the spicy cashew dressing and pesto vinaigrette but in place of the pesto vinaigrette I was given hot sauce. I double checked the order slip that was placed on the package and it was marked with both dressings, so I know the mistake wasn't on my end. Regardless, all of the veggies were very fresh and the dressing and hot sauce were very flavorful. Everything was portioned well and the meal was very hearty. It was also packaged in a way that made it easy to take with me to go. They have a lovely spacious outdoor patio that I would have loved to sit on, especially since it was a gorgeous day out. The inside and exterior of the restaurant was also very clean and tidy and bright. The service was friendly but it was busy when I came, so it felt like they were very rushed. Parking was very easy in their giant lot that they share with Amazon Fresh and a few other businesses.

The salads when we got them home were just about inedible. The actual "greens" were OK, I guess. But: -the dressings sucked...bad tastes and so sweet. -both of us bit into chicken pieces that had the crunchy cartilage part. This is BASIC for any restaurant serving chicken... no Crunchy Cartilage Parts! -the assembly line preparation looks like it could be kind of cool and efficient if all the elements were crazy good. Like Chipotle back in the day. But this looked like what it was... children dipping their ladles into not so great-looking bins of ingredients. (The kid serving us was actually quite nice and personable.) -I went and looked at the calories, fats, carbs, etc (online)( and was not impressed. Not how I want to use up that 755 calories for a salad. I predict this place will be gone within a few months of the new Whole Foods going into this complex. I'm so bummed... I just wanted a decent place to grab a decent salad that is walking distance from my house.

I am SO glad that I did. Walked in yesterday around 12;15pm, grabbed a menu and stood in line. They had a long line and the line was moving pretty fast. By the time that I got to the register it was 12:30pm. The way that this place works, you stand in line, place your order, they give you a number, grab a table (inside or outside) and they will bring out the food to you. Pretty easy and simple. Caleb H. rang me up for a few dishes that my friend Ana and I ordered. We got: Omelette, ($19.95), came with hashbrowns. Added 4 ingredients: Tomatoes, Spinach, Red Bell Peppers, Cheddar/Jack Cheese and for an additional Garlic Mushrooms, paid $0.95 cents. (I can't eat my omelette w/out Mushrooms). It just doesn't taste right. Then, I ordered their Avocado Toast ($13.95), Nikki's style. They had 2 different kinds. The toast came with Prosciutto Ham, Avocado mashed with lemon, topped with a Sunny egg, Chimichurri, Allepo pepper sauce and lettuce. We also got Chicken Caprese Sandwich ($16.95) that came with Oven roasted shaved chicken breast, Basil pesto aioli, Arugula, Tomatoes, fresh Mozzarella cheese, Balsamic glaze, toasted Ciabatta bread and a side of salad. For a drink I got 12oz freshly squeezed Orange Juice, ($6.00), she stayed with water. We were greedy and I got Coffee Cake Muffin ($4.50), and another dessert Bread Pudding was treated by their general Manager by the name of Daniel. Such a sweet gesture. I think they saw my Yelp tote bag, :-)) Food came out pretty quickly and it was piping hot considering that they had a lot of customers on a Saturday afternoon. We sat inside, because outside was very crowded. Everything tasted above and beyond fresh and DELICIOUS!! Portions were generous and HUGE!! Wendy brought out our food, and all 3, Ernesto, Wendy, and Daniel checked on us couple of times. I think I pretty much covered everything. They had 2 gender neutral restrooms and they were fully stocked with all the essentials. Both the restaurant & bathrooms were very clean. Underground parking, (1st 90 minutes was free with validation). Also street, meter, parking were available. I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you all very much!! They also have another location in Porter Ranch..
