Recently moved to Brighton and thought we would try a local ma and pa place. The service and ambiance was great. The food was not edible. $51 for a unseasoned ribeye (btw I'm a women who can make an excellent steak), mashed potatoes and gravy looked awful and my husband said they tasted just as bad. I ordered a pineapple juice which can slightly brown looking definitely not fresh. The French dip was served with American cheese and the meat was super dry and chewy. The French fries tasted freezer burn and the ketchup tasted really bad. I really wanted to like this place because it's cute and local but I just couldn't stomach the food. I left hungry and sad. If I were the owner I would definitely reconsider your chef and some small changes to improve the taste of the food.

Can't decide what kind of food you're in the mood for? Well, The Pepper Pod has all the fixins, so you're in luck. One of the few restaurants in town, The Pepper Pod, is fantastic for just about anything. The unassuming exterior heeds nothing to the magic that happens in the kitchen. The service was great, but the food did come out a little slower than expected for dining in at 2 o'clock. Although they have lots of different cuisines, the menu is well organized and easy to navigate. They offer pastas, burgers, seafood, sandwiches and much more. Plus, they're open for breakfast as well! I'm a sucker for a chicken teriyaki rice plate and was blown away with The Pepper Pod's version. For one, the portion was massive. Two big chicken breasts on a large bed of rice. It was heavenly and so tasty looking that the table next to us asked what I ordered. Luckily, it was even better than it looked. For just under $16, I'm not complaining. Great place to eat if you're ever in the area!

The food was very good! My hat goes off to the ONLY waitress for the entire restaurant! Appetizer was great! Had the Amy's burger and French fries, super good and super big! Bathroom was clean. Restaurant was a little old, but still clean

Well very surprised with this place the ambiance is definitely Lodge/ old country and dark with heads of Buffalo on the wall. Very homey atmosphere but definitely dated. The food was very good and good sized portions I have the Dave's b&g and my partner had the smothered breakfast burrito. Both were very tasty, definitely one of the better biscuits and gravy I have had. The Only negative was the service was slow we sat for 15 minutes before anyone got is coffee or water. But the waitress' defense it wasn't her fault as she had a lot of tables .. probably just short handed like most places. Prices were very fair it was just under$30 for breakfast with coffee for both of us. Overall I would definitely return and try lunch and dinner.

As an out of towner this place was absolutely amazing. The food was so good, the ambiance was a true country western mom and pop restaurant. The service was absolutely incredible and all of them made you feel like you're part of the family. I would definitely come back. I order Beth's Junk (cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, mushrooms, banana peppers, and bacon). It was so delicious that I forgot to take pics of it.

The best handheld breakfast burrito around. Well made, not runny or messy. Perfect ratio of egg, potato, cheese, and bacon!

First the positive: I was greeted and treated with positive vibes. There are some hiccups about happy hour. It's only available if you sit at the bar. Having neck and back issues, barstools are not my favorite. I was however, accommodated at a table. I ordered the steak tartare and oysters on the half shell. It's called the best steak tartare for a reason. Everything about it was perfect. The plating was exceptional. It was absolutely delicious. The side of arugula salad was outstanding. The bone marrow perfectly cooked and a wonderful addition. The cheese may be a whipped ricotta? It Was absolutely perfect. However, the oysters were on the verge or had already gone bad. I ate one much to my shock. I tried half of another in case it was just a one off. It was not. typically in a really nice restaurant, You can be safe with seafood. This is not the case. My waitress was less than attentive. And though it may be my fault for not mentioning it, She might've asked why I didn't eat the oysters. They were quite abysmal. I will know better next time. I was told their steaks are locally sourced from Greeley. So I may try them someday. But they're happy hour is an amazing deal. Just stay away from the seafood. I saw good reviews on the bruschetta so I'll add that next time. So solely based on the steak Tartare and not the service or oysters. I will give this four stars otherwise it would probably be 2 to 3. And I will also return. Hope to update my review at that time.

The food...the crab dip and bread crisps was delicious! Two of us ordered Caesar salads. Both guests said it didn't anything like a Caesar. Dressing tasted like Thousand Island! Entree choices were a steak and 2 beef burgoneon (sp). The steak was average, and we were split on the beef burg. Dessert was yum. I'm not a big supporter. Way too many outstanding steak houses in Denver.

We arrived at the restaurant around 7PM and luckily two seats opened up at the bar. We sat in the corner and were greeted by Kevin and Stephen, both bartending and taking orders. The bar was packed full and very busy but the service was still exceptional. I loved the ambiance at this steakhouse- moody, dim lighting, a lot of black, and I liked the decor. It felt like a very classic steakhouse. We started off with Manhattans and a wedge salad. For dinner I had the filet, medium-rare and we shared the whipped potatoes and broccolini. We also ordered a side of the house made steak sauce. For dessert, we shared the key lime pie. My filet was amazing! Cooked perfectly and it was delicious. The steak sauce was also good but not necessary for the steak. The whipped potatoes and wedge salad were also great. The potatoes were buttery and tasted like something my mom used to make! The broccolini was a little too overpowering with garlic, so we didn't eat much of it. They key lime pie was good and unique. Made with passion fruit and served with kiwis and whipped cream on top. Overall, I had a wonderful classic steakhouse experience and highly recommend this place if you're looking for an exceptional steak.
