There is seating inside if you wanted to enjoy the food right then and there. They have tons of bagels, lots of cream cheese options, and a variety of breakfast sandwiches with different toppings. I got the jalapeno bagel + garlic herb cream cheese with eggs, cheese, and spinach. My husband got the plain bagel + jalapeno cream cheese with eggs, cheese, bacon, and spinach. We also got a chai tea latte and a cappuccino on the side. The bagels were thick and filling, but not too dense. The garlic herb cream cheese was surprisingly good! It was super refreshing and delicious with the jalapeno bagel. I was expecting a kick with the jalapeno bagel, but there was none which was a little disappointing. Whenever I am in downtown San Francisco, I make it a point to come here and try one of their bagels. Bagels are always so soft and they offer some really good cream cheese. The specialty bagels here are yummy. But today I was pretty disappointed. I got to where I was going and realized the Asiago bagel I paid an extra $.75 for, wasn't actually an Asiago bagel. It looks like either garlic or onion. Garlic burns when it's toasted, so yuck!!! Secondly, I ordered a peach Boba tea. It was delicious. But I was given a thin straw to suck the Boba out with. I couldn't even enjoy it. Had to cut open the top and suction the Boba out with the straw, then flip the straw over to eat them one by one. The Boba kept getting caught in the straw every time I took a sip. This place could be amazing, but no matter what you order, they will just give you whatever no matter what you order. When you stay downtown, there are tons of places around that you can choose from but, to be honest, they are not all very inviting and most of them are always packed! We didn't have a lot of time in the morning and needed to grab breakfast quick so that we could be on our way. The one star I took off was because they need to update their hours on their site and on all of their social media listings. It was tough to figure out what time they really opened on Saturday, spoiler alert, they open at 8:00am as one Yelper suggested! Anyways, they were busy but were serving up dishes pretty quickly. They do have a few indoor tables you can sit an eat at but I just wanted to get my bagels and go back to the hotel. As far as their service, it was pretty great actually. The guy taking the order didn't write anything down and my order was pretty complicated and long.. Turns out the guy is a pro because he got everything right on the order. Prices are on par for the area and their selections are wide so there is something for everyone! If I am ever in the area again, you can bet I'm going to visit this place again. I've eaten at this particular Posh Bagel a number of times, and while the food is good, the service is awful. It is very clear that the people working there don't care about the customer at all. As some examples: (1) Today I took an Uber over to the location at 6:50AM because their online business hours were very clearly posted as opening at 7:00AM. However, when I arrived and asked through the door why they weren't opening soon (lights were mostly out), the guy yelled at me that they were opening at 8:00AM--more than an hour after opening according to their online business hours, and as if it was somehow *my* fault for coming when they said they were open. When I later came in around 10:00AM and called the error to their attention, they basically just said they didn't care that the hours online were wrong and argued with me instead. Very poor service and will not be coming back. I walked out. (2) When I used to order food from them, they used to frequently forget to put avocado in the bagel (I order it extra). Once again, the employees just don't care. (3) The ambiance is very basic and while the food tastes good, the cost is also very high, even for San Francisco. I would recommend other Posh Bagel locations with better customer service, but not the location at Sutter. I'm not going back. read more

Posh Bagel was within walking distance from our hotel in Chinatown when we were here on a trip. They open pretty early so it was perfect for us since we landed in SF early in the morning. They have a display full of a variety of bagels and they are pretty large bagels! They have several tables and a counter for dining in. I ordered the Eggwich deluxe which includes scrambled egg, cheddar cheese, butter, salt pepper, spinach, mushroom, and ham. The sandwich was nice and warm, the cheese was gooey, and the egg was fluffy. The bagel itself was surprisingly light even though it looked so large and thick! For $8, this was a pretty satisfying and filling breakfast. It could have used more salt, but the ham did help add some salt flavor. There's about 2 people working behind the counter and there was over 10 of us there ordering among other patrons. The staff got our food out pretty quickly even with such a big group. There doesn't seem to be a parking lot for this location, but there is street parking nearby. It's also less than a 10 minute walk from Chinatown. read more
