    Egg Supreme
    Cece Y.

3.5 stars. Very friendly staff! The Egg Supreme was filling, but it needs additional flavor, like maybe ketchup or hot sauce. Next time I'll ask if they have any. Large space with lots of seating options including tables and window-side barstool seating. One clean unisex bathroom is available for customers (no mirror in case you need one though).

This place gets the job done for what it serves its purpose. It's your typical downtown center with bagel and croissant options. I decided to do the egg cheese and sausage sandwich on a toasted asiago bagel, which was good but not great. It did fill my tummy before a long day of walking around the city, so I appreciated that I was full. . My husband ordered the locks of bagel option on a cheesy jalapeño bagel and he said his was pretty good! I do like the location because it's close to Chinatown and other nearby hotspots. The service was quick enough. There are no bathrooms available inside and it's just kind of an in and out type of place so there's not really any decor or ambience.

Absolutely delicious bagels - chewy and crisp exterior - perfect amounts of schmear and pickup ready in a jiffy

We stopped into Posh Bagel because my husband was craving a regular cream cheese bagel. it was a rainy day and it was great to get out of the rain and grab some tasty food. It wasn't too busy when we stopped in and we were able to order right away. We ended up with a regular cream cheese bagel and a Nova Lox & cream cheese everything bagel that comes with smoked salmon, tomato, onion and capers along with cream cheese. Both came out hot and fresh and even with all the toppings my nova lox & cream cheese bagel wasn't too messy. My husband said he wished he had a bit more cream cheese on his but was still very good. They had a good amount of seating inside and the service was really quick as well.

We were in the SF area, starving on a Monday morning when we came across Posh Bagel. It's a super casual spot, mostly for grab and go on a busy morning. There is seating inside if you wanted to enjoy the food right then and there. They have tons of bagels, lots of cream cheese options, and a variety of breakfast sandwiches with different toppings. I got the jalapeno bagel + garlic herb cream cheese with eggs, cheese, and spinach. My husband got the plain bagel + jalapeno cream cheese with eggs, cheese, bacon, and spinach. We also got a chai tea latte and a cappuccino on the side. The bagels were thick and filling, but not too dense. The garlic herb cream cheese was surprisingly good! It was super refreshing and delicious with the jalapeno bagel. I was expecting a kick with the jalapeno bagel, but there was none which was a little disappointing. I do wish the egg was seasoned rather than just with salt and pepper. Nonetheless, both bagels were very filling and reasonably priced for San Fran. Both drinks were really good and served hot. They were both a good size and perfect for a little morning pick me up. I would consider going back again to try out their pizza bagels or one of their hot wraps or sandwiches!

Brief Summary: - Sandwiches and all come in bagels (not buns) - Bagels are toasted, so the surface has a nice toasty texture - Couple of seats inside the building I'm starting to crave bagels lately, so I've been exploring around to find a delicious bagel sandwich. I'll mark this one as my favorites and go-to if I'm in the financial district area. My favorite part of this bagel sandwich is that during the preparation they toast it up. The bagel surface is flattened a bit like a panini, and similar to a panini the surface is crispy. It also reduces the moisture from the bagel, so it's easier to eat in my opinion.

Stayed at a hotel nearby and was craving bagels. Saw this place and gave it a try. I ordered the california club bagel with no pepperoncinis or pickles. It was delicious! I got it again the next day, lol!

Bagels were very good. Nice and soft with a bit of a crisp. I had the jalapeño cheese with jalapeño cream cheese. It was very spicy and I loved it. I will definitely come back again.

A 3.6 star rating for this place feels a bit of injustice. This should definitely be a 4 point something. Whenever I am in downtown San Francisco, I make it a point to come here and try one of their bagels. Bagels are always so soft and they offer some really good cream cheese. The different kinds of Bagels they have always impresses me. Service is fast. People are friendly. Sure the dining area is not great - this is not a lavish place with amazing ambience. It's more of a people's play - you get some really good, cheap and authentic bagels here. Not everything that glitters is gold and the vice versa is very true for this place.

one of my favorite things about cities is how the most unexpected looking places can actually be stellar! a prime example is posh Bagel! I ordered a jalapeño cheese bagel (a huge assortment of bagel options and so many of them were MASSIVE! like two to three inches thick!) I got garlic herb cream cheese just because I'd never seen that option before. the flavor was fully there but it was definitely more like spinach artichoke dip than cream cheese. very whipped and light the bagel was very chewy and warm, pretty decent and normally priced (thank god) so I didn't feel robbed for what I got they had so many fun options on the menu all for less than $10, wish I could have tried more kinda strange they had a shelf of "free" car products lol like who wants a side of motor oil with their bacon egg and cheese

I'm a bagel fan and honestly have trouble finding bagels the size of the head. I grew up in NYC so big bagels are my thing. The bagels are soft, not crusty. I would consider these rolls with holes but still tasty. They offer a nice variety of bagel sandwiches at decent prices. Where can you get a sandwich for under $10?!? I love the variety of bagels and the staff are nice. There's seating inside if you want to stay and enjoy your bagel. By the way, pizza bagels are on the menu! I can't wait to come back and try one.

I got a peach Boba tea. But I couldn't drink the Boba because they gave me a regular straw.

Re: NO. 19 (corned beef) & Potato Salad…read more Wow. Great sandwich!!! I've been looking for a place in town that delivers the same type of meals I'd find in Katz's (nyc), and Wise Sons is good!!! The bread was on point, not soggy at all even though this particular sandwich comes with coleslaw inside (I loved the sweetness of the slaw with the Russian dressing). The corned beef was spectacular. And I also liked their potato salad very much. You can bet I'll be ordering again from this place.

Weirdly, I often have egg-salad sandwiches on my mind, even though I know they can be gross. I've had plenty of egg-salad disasters, sandwich and otherwise, and I'm normally a very gun-shy person, but if a place has egg salad on its menu, I'll probably order it. Wise Sons always has egg salad on its menu. The problem is that it didn't have any egg salad on hand the first two times I came here.* Whatever I had instead, both times (and I had something different each time) was delicious. I don't know why I haven't tried the latkes yet. I guess I'm not a very wise son. The place is old school and feels perfect inside. It won't transport you magically to the past like many killer authentic interiors will, but it's very easy to imagine what the inside of this store looked like in 1941 or whenever. There was never more than one other person dining in each time I came. Maybe it's because I came so late in the day? More people would make it feel like a convivial breakfast destination. Empty, it feels like a good place with good food. Yes, it's overpriced, especially with all the delicious food you can get for cheaper within a few doors of this business on 24th Street in the Mission. But Wise Sons. It's a thing, a thing I'm glad I got wise to. *Did they sell out? Just didn't bother to make it? Who orders egg salad in the 2020s, anyway?

My wife and I were meeting someone in San Francisco in the afternoon and we wanted to eat lunch beforehand. We were interested in trying Wise Sons Deli since we have heard so many people praising it. Since we were coming into the city via BART, this location was great. The ambiance is pretty basic; ordinary tables and chairs and only some photos on one wall. You order and pay at the counter and then someone will deliver the food to the table. If you want coffee or water it is serve-yourself. However, the food is fantastic! My wife ordered a corned beef Reuben sandwich ($18.50). It was thick and very tasty. I ordered a House Special Pastrami Reuben that had a smaller Reuben sandwich, french fries, a side of cole slaw, and a drink ($19.50). While it had half as much meat as the regular Reuben, it was still a good size. They make their own Pastrami and Corned Beef and it tastes great. I had really high expectations for the bagels here given all the hype on social media, especially being a New Yorker looking for something just as good as home. Boichik doesn't skimp on the cream cheese - it was a very generous amount! However, I agree with some of the other reviews, the bagel itself was hard. I guess I should elaborate a little more for all y'all faithful Yelp readers. I tried a couple of different bagels at Noe Bagel. The sesame and everything bagels are both generously coated, with a beautiful outer crust that has just the right texture. The inside is soft and chewy. It's a classic New York-style bagel that will satisfy even your strongest bagel cravings. The mini bagels maintain that same excellence, just in a smaller form. Because of their size, the crust-to-center ratio gives you more of the micro-blistered snap that I love about bagels. Personally, I'd choose two or three minis over one regular bagel. The cream cheese is also excellent--well-balanced and smooth. My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese. It has just a hint of sweetness that brings out the richness and creaminess of the cheese. And, like many spots in San Francisco, they offer a sourdough bagel. It's quite different from their sourdough bread, but I enjoyed it. If you're visiting, I'd recommend giving it a try. For my everyday go-to, I'd stick with a classic sesame or plain bagel, but Noe Bagel has enough variety to keep things interesting if you want to switch it up regularly. As a bonus, they sell day-old bagels by the bag for $4. You can freeze them, eat them as-is, or repurpose them into bread pudding. You'll end up with an interesting dish thanks to all the different bagel varieties mixed together--but that's part of the fun!
