My wife and I stopped into this new restaurant for breakfast this morning around 8:45AM. We sat ourselves at a great corner table on the patio. Our server greeted us immediately and provided menus as soon as we sat down. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. My wife ordered the Chicken and Grits. My corned beef was clearly made from scratch with large pieces of freshly cooked corned beef and just the right amount potato. My eggs were cooked perfectly and served with a generous portion of home fries and fresh asparagus too! My wife said the grits were delicious. They were cheesy and buttery and also were served with a generous portion swiss chard. The restaurant is serving locally brewed coffee from the Snowy Owl. The coffee was fresh and hot. My wife had tea and it was served piping hot. Refills were free and served quickly. One of the owners Cameron (Cam) stopped by and checked on us several times which was a very nice touch and does not happen often enough on Cape Cod. Cam owns the restaurant with his brother Tyler (Ty) who is clearly a talented chef! The restaurant has charming Cape Cod architecture with plenty of new landscaping and flower boxes on the windows. I got the Irish Benny this morning and everything came out excellent! The corned beef hash was delicious, the poached eggs cooked wonderfully, hollandaise sauce was tasty and the English muffins were crispy and light. I also have food allergies and the waitress assured me that she would check in with the chef. I am very pleased with the restaurant as a whole. The outdoor dining gets busy quick but eating inside we were seated immediately. Very nice experience and can't wait to go back! read more

I was so glad to hear one of our local establishments had been bought and was open again under it's new owners! Just minutes from my house too! We sat outside and I loved every bite of my Eggs Benedict with asparagus. The little cubed fried potatoes were a welcome side! They were so newly opened when I was there that the liquor license was still in the works, so ice tea was my beverage choice My friend had a wrap sandwich and was very pleased! We are year-rounders on The Cape and last night was our first time trying The Rail! Delicious food, good drinks, lovely atmosphere, super friendly and helpful servers! I had the Pasta Primavera with Shrimp -- honestly some of THE BEST pasta I have had on The Cape and the shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked! My wife had the Oscar, on accident she forgot to request without Hollandaise (not her favorite in general), and the kitchen & staff were very accommodating in fixing it for her when the meal came. Came here for breakfast, because originally we were going to the Orleans to eat at Hole in One but when we got there realized there was no table service; so quickly found this place on yelp! And we were happy and pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to order and then find a seat lol. They gave big portions and the food was good! The boys had different pancakes - plain and chocolate chips! If you order the adult portion you get 2 and kids give you one flap jack! They only have everything bagels, no plain... no special coffees like latte or cap. Either way, we enjoyed going there and would definitely go back. read more

Really cute restaurant. Service was exceptional and although crowded on a Saturday night we felt as though we were attended to quite promptly. The food was exceptional and service by a young man whose name I didn't catch but was tall was great!! The owner came to our table a couple of times to check on us. Much appreciated. Food was great. We had oysters Rockefeller and chicken fingers. A Rail burger ( huge) and fish and chips. Really good and I'm picky with my fish dishes. All in all, just a wonderful place! This place is a real treat! It is locally owned by native cape codders (2 brothers!) which makes it so much more worth supporting. As with everywhere else on cape, they are short staffed and struggling to find experienced help. That being said, wait times may be longer than usual. As I say with any gem, especially at peak tourist season when everyone is short staffed, it's worth the wait!!! The service is also great, and the staff is incredibly polite and ready to help. Went for 2nd time today on Fathers day. The food seems well prepared and is reasonably tasty, but the service really left a bad taste in my mouth, now for the 2nd time. The wait staff seems untraine. There were many of them today, yet we had to wait and wait and wait. We ordered water and coffee at the same time we order food, which was probably 10-15 minutes after we arrived. Why someone couldnt ask us if we wanted water prior to that, I don't know. We were sitting outside and it was 80+ degrees, so not that demanding a demand. Finally I flagged down the busboy and asked for the 2 waters and coffee we'd ordered. After 5 minutes it was clear that he was on to other things and would not be bringing us water. Then our food came, still not drinks, no spoon for a dish that needed one. At this point we told the waitress that we'd been waiting 1/2 hour for water. She got that we were pissed and was incredibly attentive and friendly after that. She was lovely from that point on. By the way, we came at the tail end of lunch and the outside was only about 1/2 full so it wasn't due to a Father's day rush. Place is one the last "feels like normal prepandemic" service experiences left on the Cape so that is a plus. Went here this morning for breakfast. The service was aweful. We sat for 15 minutes before I asked when we would get coffee. There were several workers standing around doing nothing. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. I heard another customer complaining about how cold it was but the waitress said that she was unable to fix the temperature. Then they proceeded to talk about her after she walked away. I ordered the gardener omelet and it was not very good. Tasted like it had been cooked in a dirty pan. Potatoes were good. My daughter had chocolate pancakes which she seemed to enjoy. Coffee was terrible. My son had the strawberry pancakes and he did not like them. They were very mushy. I will not be back here. read more
