This is my #1 go-to restaurant on Staten Island. I eat here almost every week when I'm in town. I love the laid-back tavern feel, the incredible food, and the amazing staff that always make me feel like I'm home. Some of the highlights include the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, potato pancakes, spicy London broil burrito wrap with homemade potato chips, orange chicken, fish & chips, ribeye with brandy sauce, stuffed pork chops, and even something as simple as a grilled cheese with bacon & tomato. I heard a lot of things about this place and me and coworkers for work went there for dinner. There was two Spanish guys in the rest of us was all white guys and white women they treated everybody like we they were very attentive. 20s service was quick and more importance have to read as we go and I respect that I just went to this establishment for the second time again and the same thing the service was great. I really wish I liked this place but unfortunately I didn't enjoy my dining experience there. My sweet professor took the four of us there for a nice fun dinner on a Thursday evening. The bar was fully seated, but not many tables were filled. We ordered a few apps eagerly, and a few drinks as well. Our waitress was nice and polite, but she did not attend to us often. Our water cups were empty multiple times for a long time, and it took forever for us to get her attention when we wanted to order, and get the check. She just never stopped by our table. The food itself was not bad. The pork jalapeño poppers were the best thing we ordered, followed by the nachos. The wings and the disco fries were nothing special. I got the turkey open faced sandwich and it wasn't the best. Turkey was dry, and the cheese was so unbearably artificial. I ate it to not disrespect my professor who was treating us. The part that got to me the most was my drink. I ordered an old fashioned to start and I didn't order anything else after because it was so bad. It was served in this ice cream sundae glass, and there were maraschino cherries stuck in it even. There was a sweet syrup that discolored the whole drink and it was really not tasteful. When I walk into Randall Manor Tavern I instantly forget it's Staten Island and feel like I'm in one of those pubs or taverns in Manhattan. The atmosphere and ambiance is great and the service is friendly. The food...IS DELICIOUS!! I can honestly say it is $$$ worthy - it's on the level of any "high-end" Staten Island. Randall Manor Tavern is great for a date night, family dinner, or watching a game. It's truly the gem of North Shore. My favorite food to order is: New England Clam Chowder, Pretzels, Potato Pancakes, Whiskey Ribeye, Wedge Salad (which is not on the menu but the kitchen will make for you), and the Fradiavolo. Last but not least, the place is very clean, dust free, and does not smell like mildew. As someone who was a waitress for over 10 years, it is best policy to inform customers when you give them the menu of any unavailable items. Was visiting family I decided to stop in my old neighborhood and from a previous stop last year, I know that this place is a solid choice for both food and drink. Sitting at the bar I had a Guinness or two and decided to order pork chops based on the suggestion of the regulars sitting on either side of me. It was a solid recommendation because not only was it much tastier than anything that the chain restaurants offer, but even being very hungry I could barely finish it (the portions are big, they don't skimp). This was my first time in Staten Island and my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot. It was a Saturday night and quite busy. I will say, the prices are very fair and the portions are generous. However, the food is just okay. We ordered the disco fries (fries with cheese and gravy.) When I order disco fries, I usually expect melted shredded cheddar cheese or something, but this was a whole lot of cheese wiz, which was fine. The French onion soup was good. My boyfriend got the open face Turkey sandwich which came with Turkey, tomatoes, bacon, rye bread, and as you can see, more cheese wiz. Like mass amounts of cheese wiz. Like I never thought I'd be saying this, but way too much cheese wiz. You can see from the picture that plate it is not the prettiest meal. It seriously felt like three scoops of cheese wiz. The Turkey was also pretty dry. It was honestly just an overwhelming amount of artificial cheese wiz and some nice, melted sliced cheese would've been much more enjoyable. The homemade chips were okay; they definitely needed salt in my opinion. My burger was a massive monster. I appreciated the amount of pulled pork they piled high on the burger and couldn't believe that it was only $1.50 more. However, I really did not like their choice of barbecue sauce. Both my boyfriend and I thought the sauce tasted very strange. Also, the sauce was just poured on top of the pork, rather than mixed in with it. I would've enjoyed the burger much more if I had no barbecue sauce and just added ketchup. Overall, I'm not really sure if I'd come back. Three stars because of the prices and portions. read more

What a solid, enjoyable and low key neighborhood bar. Food is pretty good, portions are solid. Also the service was really good, even on a mildly busy Saturday. It definitely has it's share of Staten Island locals who can be a little tipsy loud, but it isn't the worst thing in the world (plus the Yankees were on and when Chase Headly hits a home run it was certainly an experience). Anytime you want to just eat, have a drink and hang, this is a great place to do so-- and all super reasonably priced! Irish Bar where they look at you sideways if you order a Bushmills. The Randall Manor is a Irish Bar because The Bartender is Irish The Waitress is Irish The Patrons are Irish and IMHO that's the best definition of a Irish Bar. Have eaten at the Randall Manor Tavern with my family a few times in the past few months. Each time the food, atmosphere and the wait staff were all outstanding. Service is good, wait staff is very attentive and on top of getting drinks and other miscellaneous occurrences but the food just never "wows" me. I have tried there food numerous times and nothing makes me want to scream out or make sure I come back to have it again. I have had the steak, the Mac n cheese, the special ravioli, and the burger. The bar has a great local feel, without the pretentiousness that all new bars seem to want. Stop in on a random night and grab a beer and some good food. This is just the run of the mill bar. Service was hit or miss and prices were average. I was honestly expecting something better than a $4 Bud Light on a Tuesday afternoon in the middle of Staten Island but it's certainly not much to complain about. They do have a full menu but I didn't have anything to eat this time around. I liked that they had a spacious back patio area complete with a full bar (not open when I was there). It wasn't the most comfortable feeling back area as they just put a fence blocking off part of the gravel parking lot but still it was a nice and unexpected feature of the bar. My wife and I have come here a few times and we enjoy it. We like that it's a neighborhood bar although it's not in our neighborhood. The staff are friendly and the food is decent. I've had a few things there my wife had the steak although it was very tasty it was 14 ounces and 7 ounce of it was fat. We told the bartender and he took it off the bill. We told him he didn't have to do that just wanted to let him know that we thought it was very funny. I definitely do not recommend the potato pancakes the kind of like having a McDonald's hash brown. This place has great food. The chef/owner is a CIA graduate and super creative. I have not had anything here that I haven't loved. The burger is the best on the Staten Island...Hands down! Love the Irish nachos and the Jamaican jerk chicken wings are a nice change of pace. Also try the shrimp PO' Boy and bacon wrapped meatloaf. The dinner specials are always fresh and creative.
