Cobb salad with a lonely Philly cheesesteak egg roll in the back....all gone, soooo good!

Somebody come shine the light on this place. The food and customer service is always on pointttttt whenever I come! It's located on the north shore of Staten Island, very old school tavern vibes, cozy, affordable and tasty. Bartender/server Carrie is so sweet!!! Check it out :)

The food here has gotten so much better over the years. It's become more than bar food There are items off the menu that the kitchen will make for the most part if they have the raw ingredients to do so. The specials menu has so many choices as well. I had the whiskey ribeye, and it hit the spot. Cooked as requested. Service is friendly as usual. You're most likely to run into someone you know. Cozy backyard dining area

First time here, came off of reviews and was not disappointed the least! Service is fast and friendly as can be, drinks are on point, good quality is up to par and portions are insane! Not a very seafood friendly place but they gave a few options. All in all, friendly little local bar/restaurant. Make reservations because seating is limited and be prepared to have leftovers for your next grumbling tummy moment.

Great place. Friendly bartenders. Very good food. Really good choice either for lunch or late night drinks. Mature and chill crowd, so no dealing with some of the nonsense you'll get at some of the other area places.

This is not your typical neighborhood spot and that is a good thing. When I walk into Randall Manor Tavern I instantly forget it's Staten Island and feel like I'm in one of those pubs or taverns in Manhattan. The atmosphere and ambiance is great and the service is friendly. The food...IS DELICIOUS!! I can honestly say it is $$$ worthy - it's on the level of any "high-end" Staten Island. Randall Manor Tavern is great for a date night, family dinner, or watching a game. It's truly the gem of North Shore. My favorite food to order is: New England Clam Chowder, Pretzels, Potato Pancakes, Whiskey Ribeye, Wedge Salad (which is not on the menu but the kitchen will make for you), and the Fradiavolo. Last but not least, the place is very clean, dust free, and does not smell like mildew. (Adobe's, Nurnberger, and Duffy's should follow their lead regarding cleanliness, atmosphere, and quality of food. Just sayin.)

This was my first time in Staten Island and my boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot. It was a Saturday night and quite busy. I will say, the prices are very fair and the portions are generous. However, the food is just okay. We ordered the disco fries (fries with cheese and gravy.) When I order disco fries, I usually expect melted shredded cheddar cheese or something, but this was a whole lot of cheese wiz, which was fine. The French onion soup was good. My boyfriend got the open face Turkey sandwich which came with Turkey, tomatoes, bacon, rye bread, and as you can see, more cheese wiz. Like mass amounts of cheese wiz. Like I never thought I'd be saying this, but way too much cheese wiz. You can see from the picture that plate it is not the prettiest meal. It seriously felt like three scoops of cheese wiz. The Turkey was also pretty dry. It was honestly just an overwhelming amount of artificial cheese wiz and some nice, melted sliced cheese would've been much more enjoyable. The homemade chips were okay; they definitely needed salt in my opinion. My burger was a massive monster. I appreciated the amount of pulled pork they piled high on the burger and couldn't believe that it was only $1.50 more. However, I really did not like their choice of barbecue sauce. Both my boyfriend and I thought the sauce tasted very strange. Also, the sauce was just poured on top of the pork, rather than mixed in with it. I would've enjoyed the burger much more if I had no barbecue sauce and just added ketchup. Overall, I'm not really sure if I'd come back. Three stars because of the prices and portions.

The servers were friendly, attentive, and helped make the experience easy and enjoyable. Food The food was solid across the board. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and flavorful. We ordered the calamari, vegetable pasta with added chicken, pork chop, steak, and spicy seafood. The standout dish was definitely the pork chop, but every dish was enjoyable. Overall This is a great spot for a special occasion or a family meal. Between the beautiful lake views, welcoming service, and good food, we had a very pleasant experience. I would recommend it and would happily return when I'm in the area again.

SECOND, the food is just as amazing! I was so happy hahah. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a restaurant for more than just their food. We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.

We ordered the Forest Ave roast beef sandwich and the fried shrimp appetizer with bang bang sauce. The shrimp had a nice crunch, and the bang bang sauce was good, but its flavor was a bit mild and plain; some garnish like chives can definitely elevate this appetizer further! Our sandwich unfortunately came without the bacon jam and maple bourbon, which meant it was just roast beef double dunked with Gruyère cheese. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until near the end, and although our waitress apologized and brought us a side of the bacon jam, by then we only had a quarter of it left which was a bummer. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and deliciously beefy, but the extra Au jus was a bit pricy for how little it was, where it came in the same small plastic sauce container instead of a small bowl/ceramic. I'm sure this doesn't happen often that half the sandwich ingredients were left out, so I guess we were just unlucky we didn't realize sooner, but it nonetheless detracted from our experience and we were charged the full price for the meal. What's the secret at the Point Tavern in Staten Island? They keep things simple! This review is based on my visit this past Saturday Evening - 21 June 2025. Bartender Mike is a true Mensch, if that's even possible, in a place like Staten Island, but he was truly a gem and kept the drinks flowing. This is truly a neighborhood watering hole that is frequented by many, including some friendly and beautiful teachers from the local school across the way. You are struck with an immediate vibe of friendliness and happiness, and visitors to the Point Tavern are truly treated like family.
