Haddock chowder just the way I like it. Big chunks of fresh fish.

We were in Sandwich for business in December and decided to go to a local restaurant we hadn't been to in a while. The Sagamore was way better than we remember. We were looking for appetizers and small plates and Sandy answered all of our questions. Very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious served in the warm charming atmosphere that we enjoyed when we first visited so many years ago. Somehow it didn't look or feel old. The place was spotless. If you are in Sandwich and you want outstanding Italian food and the best seafood available in Town this is the place for you.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Quickly seated, and good service. Oysters are $1/ea 3-5pm daily. The pot roast was very good. Chicken Caesar salad and clam roll were also a hit

We had our family reunion dinner here at the Sagamore. We chose the Inn because someone told us we would love their food. They were so right. We dealt with Beth, the Sales Manager. Planning this event on our end was not easy. Beth made every step in this process so easy. Not only the professional you need and feel comfortable with, but kind and friendly. This beautiful venue still has our family talking about their experience. I'm so glad we chose the Sagamore Inn. And so grateful we had Beth and Nicole taking care of our family. Thank you

The worst fish and shrimp plate ever encountered.

I have to say that I was so completely unimpressed in every way imaginable with this place. It truly seemed like a low rent Perkins with not even any of the usual Perkins qualities. It really was THAT low and with a lunch price of $62, how is that even possible??? I will simply post my awful fish and shrimp plate where for some reason they chose to batter and fry the tail fins in terribly old oil. Just a miserable dining experience, and to think this was even a SECOND visit.

Clamboil night with great friends. Everything was good, but they could've offered way more clams!

I think this place has come along way! I thought the food was basic, but lately it's been fabulous! They have Keno and a lovely outside pavilion and offer a variety of public functions. So far, we tried their clamboil and a comedy dinner show.

However Sandie's is your patio deck bar with small eats that are just as delicious and the raw bar is not to be missed! I recommend going during the week around 1/2pm for the best chance at grabbing some good seats and while there are plenty out here, it fills up! Also have live music so check their website!

I know many just hang out here on the deck overlooking the harbor, below F/V. Sometimes the waitlist is just too long. *Note that they do accept F/V gift cards here also. So you're looking at about 8 picnic tables with umbrellas pushed together. A small walk up shack mixing drinks, and cooking food. The menu is in chalk, and changing daily. Most items are on the snack size. Then again, 2-3 Blackened salmon tacos, or F/V beef sliders is enough to fill the belly. Now you're fed, enjoying a cool libation, and some live guitar music with a scenic view. The prices are good. The service at the shack is good. The drinks are good. The food is great. Everything is pay at the shack or run a tab. Many never even went back to their F/V reservation. I wish there was more attention to silverware and napkins. I know it's hard to keep tables clean when a butt sits down as soon as one gets up. You basically bus the garbage of the previous tenant. They highly discourage entry and exit through the sidewalk gate. The exception was made for a handicapped person in our party. *Note that we did encounter some biting, flying insects on first week of July. Lot's of bug bites the next day.

Thought I was in order. Upscale restaurant where we spent well over $500. Never served bread until I asked several times. Owner, expediter never came to the table to inquire.. one of my guests said that the lobster risotto was in edible and crunchy. Very expensive meals and small portions. Each person was to get their own check, including, unbelievably, a four dollar plating fee for a cake that I brought. Waitress gave every one their checks. I gave her my credit card and she put it through. Then came up to me to tell me she had forgotten to put the four dollar fee on everyone's plate so she dumped $32 on mine. In an upscale restaurant, this would not have happened.. I wrote to the owner after my meal, telling him my thoughts, and he never bothered to get back. Unacceptable so that is the reason why I was forced to write this review. Find another place

Not busy at all. One very odd guy at the counter and 3 deuces besides us in booths. Hubs tried the Buffalo Chicken Tenders which he said were unremarkable but fine. I had the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and the 'zucchini medley'. In all honesty but for the oiliness of the gravy my dinner was really good and so hot that I had to adjust everything in order to release some of the heat. The meatloaf was serviceable and a large portion of it (I'm having the remnants as a sandwich for lunch today), the mashed potatoes were definitely from fresh potatoes as I found a not unpleasant chunk of unmashed potato in there. The zucchini was a real treat with caramelized zucchini, which I love, crispy shallots and grape tomatoes. All, as I said, piping hot. Good, inexpensive diner food, server with speed, friendliness and care in a cutesy Cape Cod diner.
