First time here & what a fun vibe! All of the 15 TVs were tuned to one football game w/ game volume pretty loud throughout bar & dining area. We had the chicken nachos, then Sicilian pizza, & Hazy IPA on draft. Yummmm. Our server was attentive and so nice. It was not smokey at all until we were just about to leave. Whomp whomp.

A great sports bar in Centennial Hills, tvs everywhere and great "bar" food and sports on TV - perfect combination. Service was fast and attentive, kept checking on us. The meatballs were tasty with plenty of cheese, and the sauce did not overpower the meat. Buffalo chicken salad was generous portion of perfectly spiced chicken on top. We also ordered the meat lovers pizza thick crust, which had crunchy edges and plenty of sausage and pepperoni. Almost forgot, the tap beer was ice cold served in a frosty glass! Definitely adding this to my regular rotation!

Don't let the pictures of the pizza fool you. This has to be the worst pizza I've ever had. We were catfished by all the pizza reviews and photos thinking that we were about to strike gold. The dough is incredibly dry, not even edible. Sauce is sauce, nothing special. Looks like there's plenty of cheese but it's a small thin layer and of course they give you a single slice of pepperoni per square of pizza. Totally skimping you out. Their ranch is good. Chicken fingers resemble those of Canes. Save yourself some $$ and grab yourself a Little Caesars pizza, at least your wallet won't hurt with the disappointment.

Don't watch me while I eat here because it can get graphic. I have a love and hate relationship with how this spot is strategically placed near the gym. Too often, the scent of burgers and wings waft aggressively through the desert breeze, summoning my spirt. I pause, take it all in, die a little inside, and then trek into the gym to earn my gainz. Great food and service every single time. The sandwiches and burgers are massive and stuffed with meat, like your gym crush. Solid five star establishment.

We absolutely love visiting Teanne on weekends for her amazing Micheladas!. She's awesome!!

My favorite flavor of wings can be found here. I live peanut butter and jelly wings. Even though there Buffalo Bills merchandise hanging up, that won't stop me from coking back for the food here. Besides the wings, I've had the burgers, fries, mozzarella sticks and the salads. The nights get a little busy here, the machines are loose and they have pool tables. The bartenders are really easy to talk to. Great ambiance.

We've now been here several times. The food is consistently delicious. We've tried several items on the menu and have not been disappointed. My husband LOVES the wings, and he's a wing critic. The service is great, every time. It's not dark and dingy, it's nice, well lit, nice tables and booths for sitting away from the bar. Great for dart throwers (3 plastic tip boards). We will definitely continue to come here.

This place can be hit and miss if it's smokey or not, so if you're like me and prefer no smoke, you'll have to pop in to see the current situation. I popped in late evening and the bartender was very friendly and helpful on deciding what to eat. She recommended the tenders since they were fresh hand breaded and to have it sauced. The other item we ordered was a recommendation of the bartender as well - Sicilian pizza and she mentioned it was an airy crust. The chicken tenders came out first, but they were not sauced. Which, is fine, I'm totally OK with dipping my tenders. However, the bummer was the side of sauce was ICE COLD. No joke. It was a bummer because the tenders were great - flaky, hot, and fresh, but the sauce wasn't usable and the bartender without hesitation requested for the sauce to be warmed. However, when the sauce came out, the tenders were no longer hot. Again - bummer on that. The Sicilian takes longer to bake so that came out after the tenders. The crust was airy like the bartender said, but ironically, the pizza wasn't that hot. It was warm, but not what you would expect to come out nice and hot and gooey cheese. I give this place 4-stars because service is very important and the bartender was great. However, the food was definitely capable of 5 stars, but a couple of issues knocked it to a 4.

Forget about PTS and the other regular Vegas bars, this is where it's at! Not only will you find great service and staff the bar food here is 10,000x better than all the other bars in Vegas! Top notch quality food, if this was closer to my house I'd be here 3 times a week. read more

Been going here for over a year now. Hands down my favorite bar. I go in on graveyard, James is awesome, remembered my drink and my name after just the first time of me going in. The atmosphere is always good. I have come to know other regular players and it's an easy vibe and you just feel more like friends. Clean and comfortable. First time coming to this place. We live right around the corner and we're looking for somewhere new to eat, and the pictures of this place looked great. Walking in we were immediately greeted by staff and seated. Our waitress was super nice and took great care of us. I had the nachos which were awesome. My wife had a barbecue cheeseburger, which, again, was awesome. The nachos had chicken on them where the chicken was grilled and cooked to perfection. Not too much cheese on the them either, and - they actually use tortilla shells which is nice because the proportions were perfect. Nothing worse than going to a restaurant having a ton of chips and no cheese or toppings on your nachos lol. will definitely be back. I can't wait to try something new. read more

The food was amazing! We shared a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and an order of loaded fries. Everything tasted so good and wasn't soggy or anything like that. The bartender started out really attentive but as soon as he took our order, he never checked on me again. He only spoke to my boyfriend. My drink was empty a good 10 minutes, he came over and asked my boyfriend if he wanted another drink and my boyfriend was like "yah and can she have another too?" It was pretty strange. read more

Went in to beat the heat. Played video poker and other games. The bartender wasn't truthful. In the past we would play and all of our drinks were taken care of but today we received an $80 bill for drinks. She told us afterward that we only got one free drink for $20. It would be cheaper for me to buy my own drinks. I don't recommend this unhonest place. Unfortunately, I know the owner and I'm sure he would be upset. read more

My husband and I frequent this restaurant for happy hour and other times. Today we were both gaming and received a bill for $80 for drinks while we were playing. Afterward the bartender informed us that we only get a free drink per $20. She didn't tell us that before and we have never had this problem in the past. Oof! I have to pass on this place now because the bartender wasn't truthful. Unfortunately the owner has responded with their policy is only one drink per $20 but I could pay for the same drink cheaper. Tonight I tried the mt. Charleston melt, it was to die for! My bartender Stefani was amazing and every time I am lucky enough to be here on her shifts I absolutely have the best time and her personable personality always makes me feel welcome and comfortable like I'm at home! We have come here numerous times and We asked if the pizza was good and was told that it was fresh dough and sauce... it was cold and the sauce was very watery. we got chicken nachos.... Cold and cheese wasn't melted. We had vodka sodas tall and they tasted like soda water and the bartender re used the same glasses. Needless to say we will not be back. read more

After the busy holidays I was looking for a low key new years off of the strip but still was craving a good meal. I came here with my husband and cannot say enough about this place! Let's start with the food, they had a new years special that came with a shrimp cocktail, salad, choice of ribeye or chicken pasta dish, and a berry dessert for around $30 total. I was amazed how amazing EVERYTHING tasted! The shrimp was huge and tasted so sweet, they have housemade salad dressings (what?! How is this considered bar food!!!) And my ribeye was cooked to perfection served with a side of basil mashed potatoes. I was skeptical when I read basil potatoes on the menu but wow so unique and delicious. I have a strawberry allergy so for dessert I got the warm brownie. I have not stopped thinking about that brownie since! The staff is always so pleasant and helpful and make it such a fun atmosphere to be in. I will definitely be back and if you haven't tried this place...GO! read more

Stopped in for lunch today with my sister and brother-in-law, always a great atmosphere and friendly staff. J. Buck was cookin in the back and that is always a prize in itself ! I highly suggest this place 100%. Go check out Ami, jade, John, and Liz!!! Best service I've ever had, and the food is amazing and comes out super fast! I rate it 4 stars because there is one shift I WILL NOT GO ON due to poor service. It should NOT take 20-30 minutes for a drink especially if you aren't busy on your shift. Customer service is key, and to see someone chit chatting with someone after I spent $200 for one drink and I've heard this lady's whole life story isn't something I want to come into! I have been going to The Standard after work, every other week for months now and my review is long over due.It's a place i constantly give out as a recommendation to friends and family. Their food is some of the best and constant out in Vegas even at 12 am. But what also has us claiming this is as one of our favorite spots is also the service. Every time we attend we are serviced by James. And not once in the many months of attending has his service ever been less then stellar. I feel seen, respected and treated like a friend he has known for years. And with the combo of excellent food and excellent service it has to be a place that is in your rotation constantly. read more

History

Established in 2021.

After being denied a bartending job at another local bar in 2013, I decided to put all my effort into opening my own. Thus, The Standard Tavern was born. We were able to navigate the difficult Covid-19 shutdown and complete construction in August 2021. Our official Grand Opening was August 15th 2021, and we have not closed our doors since. We are a small operation with big dreams to expand our brand throughout the Las Vegas valley. We specialize in elevated bar food, high limit gaming options, and friendly service. Saturday morning at 10:19 am, we checked in at the front and had a 5-10 minute wait. Coco was our waitress and took our order of a deli sandwich and a veggie skillet and drinks (none of which came with their delicious banana muffins - keep this in mind for later). We were seated close to the cooking line, so out of the corner of my eye, I could see our deli sandwich in the window---waiting, all alone like a stood up Tinder date. It looked so sad. I was sad; and then my stomach started rumbling. We waited probably about 25-30 minutes for our food--while the poor Tinder date stood alone. I could see Coco getting frustrated as well with the timing and she pulled aside manger, Lacey, to hopefully find the Tinder date's match. Coco, sensing my handiness brought us over some banana muffins and apologized for the wait. I knew it wasn't her fault and told her so. The line staff was overwhelmed and things happen. Let me tell you that was the best banana muffin in the world at that point (they're always delicious though). We like to try many bars in this area and this one really was a great experience. All the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The buffalo chicken salad was so spicy and good. My husband had the Philly also said it was very good. Their French Frys were amazing- salty and crisp, hats off to the chef. Definitely coming back again.
