I wish I remembered his name bc he was the most helpful person & so incredibly nice. I normally do put off shipping things bc it's a hassle & just plain annoying but going into this store the guy made my dad and I didn't even end up shipping anything! This UPS Store has the best manager, Apoorna, who has been super helpful and patient with me during two incidents. She has a great staff, as well, who are friendly and just as helpful. Apoorna helped me earlier this summer, when UPS lost a pcakage I sent to Boston. The UPS phone and online customer service teams were poor; providing very incomplete information, after repeated contacts. Finally, after 6 weeks of lost time, they said I had to follow up with the UPS Store from where the package was shipped. Apoorna assisted me and I received my refund in about a week! Today, Apoorna helped me with an Amazon return that was a little more confusing than the usual Amazon return. She guided me through the process with patience and aplomb. Thanks Apoorna! :) read more

Terrible for printing. The computer took 3 minutes just to load google chrome, and then kept taking forever to load email and then documents. All the while it charges you, and the staff wasn't very nice either. Wouldn't recommend coming here to print. read more

Today, I visited the UPS store to print my document, which has over 100 pages. I asked the staff, Stephanie how to do it, and she kindly helped me. First, I couldn't explain to her what I need correctly because my English is poor, and the pages were misprinted, but she didn't charged me. After some trials, finally I could print all pages, and she even gave me a hard envelope to store the pile of paper. It didn't take long and it was very cheap! I offered Stephanie a tip, but she said to me "Keep it for your baby"! I feel she really went above and beyond in helping me with my printing! I've had my mail box here for years and have never had a problem. I haven't used the store for shipping or most other services, though, so I can't really comment on those. The service here is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! They've had quite a few staffing changes, but almost everyone has been great (and usually the less than stellar staff doesn't stick around for more than a couple of weeks). The "regular" staff is friendly and helpful. They seem to get to know all their regular customers really well. -Reggie is always nice and welcoming. He is very professional and makes sure everything is right. -Jorge is friendly and a lot of fun to chat with. He even gets my mail as soon as I walk in! -it can get quite busy, but the staff really hustles to try and get you in and out as fast as possible -good location in la jolla colony near utc mall right next to vons -always clean and well stocked -pretty convenient hours, but you can access your box after hours too -lots of parking, usually easy to find, but even if you need to park far away they will help you carry your packages to your car -good supply of shipping and packaging materials to purchase -computer stations to use the internet/printing for a small fee -photocopy machines which the staff is more than willing to help you use -notary services at all business times -i believe they have livescan now too -good background music -reasonable box prices -"real" street address (not a PO Box) so you can receive all packages -send you an email each time you get a package -called me to tell me I received a Birthday flower delivery and held it for me (even put a Birthday card in my mailbox the next day!) -warning: the USPS stamps cost more here than at a regular store read more

Lots of good reviews of this store... sorry to say my experience was unfavorable. I arrived around 2pm on 4/14. All I wanted to do was mail 5 letter sized envelopes to the IRS containing tax payments. I needed them post-marked no later than 4/16. The UPS store simply could not get this done at all. The lady working the counter had no idea what I was trying to do or why. Never mind the store and parking lot was jammed with people trying to do exactly what I was doing (pre-tax day). The lady appealed to two other co-workers who stated I should just go to the US Post Office (1 mile away). I pleaded with them to find someone who could handle this seeming simple/basic tasks, but alas they could not. So I left unsatisfied and convinced that the UPS Store serves no useful purpose. I went to the US Post Office, waited in a 30 min line to be attended by a Gov. worker who rapidly and easily took care of my task. I do not understand why the UPS Store is even in business. read more

I've only used this store to make copies. If you get a Student Dollar Stretcher from UCSD campus whenever they are passing them out, you can get B/W copies for 4 cents each sheet. Super cheap price. Great gadgets. The employees are very helpful too. read more

I've only used this location for dropping off packages and the workers here have always been very helpful. The location has mailbox service, shipping services, sells packaging material and more. I was greeted as soon as I walked and helped immediately. I've only been in line once and not for more than a minute. Workers are fast, efficient and definitely look busy every time I've been here... I hate walking into a place where you don't get noticed especially if there's not a lot of people around and I don't like to linger and pretend I'm looking at stuff waiting for a worker to approach me... definitely not the feeling here! The place is tidy and organized and conveniently located in the shopping center near Vons. Only downside is that parking here is horrible, so it's the only downside of patronizing any of the stores in this shopping mall. read more

This rating is based on the limited number of times I've come here (but ALWAYS over any other shipping store, i.e., USPS, FedEx, etc.). Each time I come to drop off a package, I'm in and out in under 5 minutes. The lines have always been short because of the fast customer service, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. These past 3 times I've come to return books (rented books for school, or selling them), I've come prepared with my box and the shipping slip, however the box was still un-taped, or missing something .. it doesn't matter. They took my package, printed out a receipt, and I was on my way. The 3rd place time - 1 min and 30 seconds, the 2nd time - 30 seconds, TODAY I was in and out in under 15 seconds. WHAT?! I'll update my review once I come here more, or for other jobs (printing, copying, a box, etc.). However, like I said, I've only been here a handful of times so I'm not ready to impart my rare 5 star rating .. yet .. till next time, UPS Store! read more

Ive been here a couple of times and my most recent visit was about returning ATT modem through UPS. The staff member always greet and are there for assistance. It was a matter of a few minutes and I was on my way out with all necessary details told to me by the staff member. Completely botched our delivery. The store created a label for USPS Priority Mail on a Thursday with expected delivery of Saturday. The letter was not even in USPS possession until over 24 hours later and delivered on Wednesday - four days late. They tried to blame USPS but not buying it - if the hand-off to USPS occurred in a timely fashion, all would have been well - never had any issues with USPS Priority when dropping off at USPS facility - will never use this UPS office again. read more

The UPS Store on Regents Road represents best in class customer service! Both Jesus and Abdi went out of their way to help me print, pack and ship over 30 packages. All while staying open after hours (closing time) to make sure I was taken care of the first time around! Honestly the best UPS store in San Diego and easily beats the FedEx on La Jolla Village Drive. I've been here at least 50 times and each time they seem to do better than the last. This time Susana the manager took care of me and I realized I forgot my envelope. She offered to let me buy one, which I knew was not what I would do, partly cuz I'm cheap and because it's a waste of the envelope i had at home. She slid the item into a spare she had and saved me the trouble of driving home.
