Incredibly helpful and patient. I came in with a very complicated return and the staff was wonderful. Ivan was calm and incredibly professional. He helped me with all of my boxes and took the time to help me sort through my return and make sure everything had the correct label. After UPS royally blowing it on delivery two times and the customer center was closed I turned to our closest store to seek help getting a package delivered that our business (Torrey Pines Gliderport) needed. Great UPS! I dread shipping stuff (and the prices that come with), but the service here makes visits slightly more bearable. I've been here a couple times. I can't remember the names of all the workers who have helped me, but I came in today to ship two items, and Robert was great. He was friendly, informed me about the cheapest shipping prices and different methods, and made my visit quick and easy! His co-worker even remembered a customer coming in and cracked a few jokes. You can just tell they're really nice guys. Bring in your own/old boxes to save a couple bucks, and they'll happily tape up your packages for you. I don't usually go to UPS stores and come home like "Alright, I'm going to review them," but the service was great. read more

They are very negligent or STEALING other people packages. I dropped off the package and it never gets scanned after that. Literally disappeared. Two and a half weeks later it was declared as lost. I did ask a long haired guy who is a pick up driver as well, - why my item was never scanned after I dropped it off - he couldn't give me an answer and keep on repeating that it is probably in transit. Older guy with glasses printed out "a proof " that the package was marked with /on the way/ status which is simply an automatic response from their system and had exact time stamp when the drop off happened. I had a strong feeling that they just wanted me to leave and not going to help in any way. after calling 800 number multiple times, all usp reps agreed that it looked like the package never left this location. read more

Super disappointed. I spent 30 minutes to setup a mailbox only to find out that they wouldn't accept a Groupon that explicitly says you can use it any UPS store. I was then told that the AAA discount didn't apply even though the corporate UPS store website says it does. Then on top of all that they didn't have a key for the mailbox and wanted me to come back tomorrow to retrieve it! So, they won't follow the policies that their corporate office put in place or honor the Groupon and then I don't even get a key for what I'm paying for?!! This place is run really shady. As a business owner who sends out thousands of packages a week, I'm going to take my business elsewhere. It's not like the small amount of money saved really matters but I vote with my money and all the inconsistencies in their service make me wonder what else is falling through the cracks here. My first review after getting hitched to boytoy & moving down to SD after this Spring of 2013! This location has a decent parking lot in a mini mall area, a clean & well supplied interior and a friendly staff. I'm glad i came here as they were able to help me out with a Major Problem! If you move, you usually fill out a forwarding mail address card with the USPS. I paid $1 online to forward my mail to my new address in San Diego from Los Angeles for one year. Sure enough, USPS forwarded only junk mail (i.e. election campaign fliers of councilmen in my old Los Angeles district), but not the important mail (renewal of car insurance). In fact, the USPS returned my car insurance premium notice stating that the mail was "Non-Deliverable". Luckily my car insurance had my e-mail. I received an e-mail stating that I was 4 days overdue & that I was no longer covered. I basically had a heart attack. I ALSO pay for my MOM's insurance. That means both of us were not covered for 4 days! I called my insurance company and they said that I could overnight a check or go with another insurance company. There's no insurance company that I could find online in SD that's open at 5:30 p.m. down here in SD. I quickly looked up UPS & FedEx. FedEx was in the mini mall with crazy drivers next to Sprinkles & UPS was closer so I headed over here in boytoy's car as that still had an active insurance. The girl in the front was very helpful & understanding of my situation. She got me pricing for UPS Next Day & UPS Next Day by 10 a.m. and the difference was a couple of dollars. She gave me a regular #10 envelope for free as I realized I had only brought a check and felt awkward just tossing a live personal check into a big UPS envelope. She was friendly, completely calmed me down & gave me an envelope for free which I was willing to pay for. Best of all, my check arrived in North Hollywood by 9 a.m. the next morning as promised by UPS and my insurance (AND my mother's insurance) was reinstated with no break in coverage. I hate you USPS & I love you UPS! read more

DON'T USE THIS SERVICE! it is the WORST! they lost a package that was highly important, on top of that I have called every day to get a status of the package (since no one will call me back) today I talked to Brandon, who informed me on a very disrespectful way that there was nothing that he could do for me and then hang up the phone on me. That really got me upset, I HAVE NEVER BEEN HANG UP ON before (by anyone, specially not a company), I got so upset that had to call back, when he answered he spoke to me as if I was his sister, I asked to talk to the supervisor and he said he was the "higher in rank" when I told him that I was a customer and that I deserved an explanation, he told me that he will hang up the phone on me whenever he wanted if I was not willing to listen. I have lost my patience with this company, but mainly with Brandon, which has no customer service; if he is not willing to deal with customers, maybe he should go to school and get an education! I'm a frustrated customer that paid a high fee for a package that was supposed to be delivered 8 days ago and that as of today is nowhere to be found. Are you down with brown? Speaking strictly from a shipping standpoint (I haven't used any other services), these guys are solid. I throw something their way about once a week and have yet to have an issue. They're always attentive to customers and are great at multitasking based on people's needs and level of preparedness. As an added bonus for the OCD folks out there, they'll send you a shipment notification via email when you drop something off as well as when your package reaches its destination. read more

I used their printing services for all of my wedding stationery and had an A+ experience! Friendly and competent staff, and the store manager Derrick is AWESOME. My order was extremely complicated and I needed many things printed on different types of materials. Derrick walked me thru the entire process and was very patient, responsive to emails, and super friendly and helpful. Everything was printed in an efficient and timely manner, and when I discovered one of the items had been printed incorrectly, Derrick immediately responded (during off-hours!) by re-printing the items on the spot to ensure I got them on time. Overall I was extremely impressed by the service at this location and would recommend their services to anyone regardless of order size or complexity. read more

I've been dropping off at this location for a couple of months on a twice-weekly basis, but recently when I dropped off just one parcel, somehow my label ended up on another shipper's box, and now I have a nightmare on my hands! I had a situation with a package I had shipped being sent to a fraudulent receiver and was worried it was going to be difficult to fix. The night of I wrote UPS Store 0400 about the situation and said Id be in first thing in the morning. When I came in in the morning Gavin was there and greeting me with the understanding I was the frantic person from the night before. He was right and had already taken care of the problem. On top of that he went above and beyond and even had my package redirected to the correct receiver that probably actually took a lot of work. This place has ZERO COVID protections. I was in the store for 5 mins waiting in line and they allowed two people to stay in the store without masks. one person was yelling very loudly on his cell phone, no mask. A customer asked him to wear a mask and the man threatened her with violence and the employees were protecting the crazy man without the mask instead of the woman who asked him to put the mask on. I walked out without getting my items shipped. I will go somewhere else where they protect customers and employees from those who will not wear masks. read more

First class service ! I have had a mailbox here for over 5 years. I have used shipping, supplies, copy and notary services and they never disappoint. If you are a busy person like me, or you run a small business, these folks are your best friend. Many days I have run late due to my work or side business, and Zach has been there to let me pick up parcels or ship an item out. He makes the impossible - possible. On one package I needed to ship and have UPS paid return, in one convenient stop and payment they made it happen, with BOTH tracking numbers. Great if you are shipping for a small business and wish to offer a "no charge pre-paid" return for your client ! Service like this is rare today. I cannot recommend them more. read more

I am incredibly grateful of Chris, the manager, of his service. He printed my business cards in less than an hour, and it was pretty good for $20. He is also interested in each individual that visits, as I see him and other employees greet EVERYONE very enthusiastically. He even offered to print other material in more quantity for less money. They're really nice and friendly here. They always pick up the phone and answer any questions I have about pricing and printing. I'm always going to be a newbie at shipping things but this store makes everything less intimidating. I do all my return shipping here. It's definitely cheaper to ship here than at USPS, which also has worse customer service and shorter hours. I also go here to print my notes for school when I have a million pages.. It's ten cents a page plus tax, more convenient for me to go here than go to school and print for ten cents without tax. They are supposed to charge .99 for every five mins of computer usage... I don't know why that's necessary especially because I'm only using it to print and not browse the web! read more

Edit: Jorge is the protector of terribly packages shipments. I shipped about 7 boxes from San Diego all the way across the country in moving boxes rather than shipping boxes. Jorge made sure that they got to me on the east coast in one piece! Well, I only lost one thing in one of the boxes so I consider that a win. Thanks Jorge! I came in right before closing on a FRIDAY, and Sunday and Sandy were nice enough to stay after hours to help me do a price check on my packages. They delivered the most fantastic customer service!!!
