For a local diner type establishment, I love this place. Been going there for over 10 years and it is consistently on target. Greek salad, moussaka, supreme burger, all delish. Fresh fish specialties (like most Greek joints). Nice people, booths, what's not to like. read more

Um, I live here in Manhattan and have to say Three Guys is off its rocker. It was in the right place when I got a craving for scrambled eggs before heading into the museums on a Sunday morning. I haven't dined here before because I have a diner caddy-corner to my apartment building that is my place. I thought this was a diner. Tell me if you think $26.65 is what you'd pay for a single order of scrambled eggs and a cup of black coffee? In any country, in any city you'd have to be out of your minds to do this. That day I was. Given the price for something so simple I was irritated with myself that I hadn't made my own breakfast or gone to my local diner. I have to think this restaurant is perfectly located near the high-end UES hotels so it can get away with these prices and diners can think they're getting a "New York experience." Nope, you're not. My sister and I went on a Sunday morning, since we were craving a good ol' diner breakfast. The moment we walked in to the diner, the tone was set. We waited about five minutes before anyone came over to seat us, which I would understand if it was busy, but for a Sunday morning it was pretty empty. Once we were seated a waitress brought us glasses of water and then later tea, which was in a ridiculously small cup. I noticed my glass had a cloudy appearance but decided to shrug it off. No big deal. That is until my sister realized her glass had lipstick on hers from the last customer. Absolutely disgusting. The food was decent. It's pretty difficult to mess up pancakes and french toast. I was expecting it to be overpriced since it is in the UES, but I was hoping the quality would live up to those prices. Every time I go there, I hope the experience will be different & I have gone there periodically for 5-6 years because it's conveniently located near where I stay on extended visits in Manhattan. It has never changed: outrageous ( even for UES)prices for basic food AND minimal service even though the waiters and the host/maitre'd are posted throughout the place. If you are a regular, you will be greeted and receive attention. If not, you will be pretty much ignored and never acknowledged with a Thank You as you leave. read more

The food is nothing to write home about and really--what makes a Greek salad with chicken worth 22 bucks?? I made a mistake and forgot to ask for no anchovies on mine. I have been here several times and always remembered to ask--until today. I asked the server to take it back and while I know it was my mistakes, I was stunned to see I was charged for TWO salads!! This place is a scam, tourists and Met Breurer visitors stay away. Over price, under average, diner food. Not only that, they add both service charge and tips on the bill. A brunch for 2 persons with only scramble eggs and coffee shouldn't be $60!? They should update the price rating here to $$$$. Very bad experience-service, taste, quality. After the four of us were seated we waited 20 minutes to be noticed again. I ordered the grilled shrimp wrap that comes with fries and a pickle and a diet coke. The pickle and diet coke never came.The fries were dried out. The shrimp was way overcooked, and with no flavor at all. Had to drown it in Tabasco sauce to be able to chew through it and pretend it is edible. My friends tex mex wrap was the same but she did get her pickle! read more

We stumbled into this place after an exhausting day at Central Park with two tired and hungry children. The service was friendly, competent, and attentive. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and relaxing. The menu was very diverse and offered some interesting choices. The prices were reasonable and most importantly, the food was incredibly good. We left full, happy, and rejuvenated for the next round of sightseeing. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I stopped in for a quick take out - asked for a bacon, egg and cheese...an iced tea and while I waited I ordered a tiny grapefruit juice. When I got the check the price was 18 bucks. I told the waiter there must be a mistake and he told me that this was Manhattan. So when I went to the register the owner told me to bad it is Manhattan. I guess I am not the only one complaining about the ridiculous price for a simple bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The food is ok. But the service is terrible. I always have to wait for the host to acknowledge me which he only does if someone else walks in. I'm often the only black person each time I've come. The host prefers to sit in the back and text. My waiter was great though. I'm not coming here again to have mediocre food and generally poor service for such high prices. read more

I have been going to Three guys for the past 14 years. As a tradition, I always eat a turkey burger with french fries and a black and white cookie to finish. The staff are very friendly and over time, they even know what I am going to order as soon as I sit down :)! I recommend to come here. Prices are a bit high but I think that it is worth it. read more
