They tried to push an unnecessary deep cleaning on me--even after I confirmed with my insurance (Humana) and my sister-in-law, a licensed dental hygienist, that I didn't need it. She personally reviewed my X-rays and said there was zero justification for that level of treatment. Despite this, the office kept insisting I needed it, then manipulated the billing codes to group procedures in a way that would force me to pay more out-of-pocket--even though my insurance covers 70%. When I called Humana, they confirmed the office was submitting things incorrectly. But instead of owning up to it, the staff tried to blame the insurance company and act like they were "just trying to help me save money." That was a lie. I wanted the office to send an appeal. They did not do that. They kept saying I desperately needed it but if I did then my insurance should have no problem covering it. They did not provide sufficient proof/evidence for the claim to be approved. It just didn't make any sense to me. I chose to text as a form of contact so I would have receipts of the conversation in case anything happened and I'm glad I did because when I re read everything it's just absolutely ridiculous how they handled the situation and how they dodged so many of my questions while I was trying to gain clarity. This place is predatory. They rely on patients not understanding billing codes or questioning treatment plans. It is so important to understand what your insurance covers because places like this will do everything in their power to make you pay up front and tell you insurance will cover it later. Then you'll realize your insurance will reject the claim snd you're out $500 of your own money. The whole experience felt like a setup to squeeze as much money as possible from me under the guise of "care." Do yourself a favor: get a second opinion, talk to your insurance, and run far away from this office. They are unethical, dishonest, and absolutely not looking out for your best interest. Also I want to mention if you look at the other 1 star review, you can see the another person having the same exact issue regarding the deep cleaning. I couldn't believe it.

She had been using Proenamel toothpaste all thru the pandemic, an .thought her teeth were fine. She postponed trgular check ups during covid, since her teeth were not sensitive. They were not fine. Dr. Bui was very thoughtful in explaining mom's options and timeline, and allowing mom to ask any questions or concerns. The work was reasonably priced and laid out on a schedule mom was happy with. For me, I'm happy to be Dr. Bui's dental patient for 20+ years and orthodontic care patient for a year. My treatments, cleanings, and consultations have surpassed all expectations. I'm super happy with my Invisalign progress. With each progressive step, I can see my teeth straightening. And they are so much easier to clean and eat with than traditional braces.

I just currently left after doing some fillings, not once but for a second time in one week because they weren't done correctly, the first time. So after going back to fix it, they're even worse now Dr. Bui is literally telling me to just go eat food and that will fix my teeth and that the pressure in between my teeth is normal. I have never felt this uncomfortable from dental work before. I honestly dont know why I came back here after my first horrible experience. After telling Dr. Bui that I was uncomfortable she basically just told me to leave. I told the people in the front to which they said they would talk to her and she basically told them to tell me to leave. Horrible experiences all around. They refuse to even brush and clean your teeth before doing work on you. Not to mention the tools looked old and had rust spots on them. She did similar horrible work with a crown to my mother, trying to more or less scam her over, overcharging her. I don't know the exact story with my mother, but I know that my mother refuses to go back to her as well. To top it all off she's in there arguing with one of her doctors in the front office, shes clearly a difficult person to work with. I called the office asking if I could make an appointment with them and the receptionist, Crystal, checked some list she had and my name wasn't on it. Of course it wasn't because I'm not assigned to it but I have insurance that they accept and I had asked her how I could go and be a patient there. Well after she concluded that her job only consisted of reading off names that are on a list instead of actually trying to contact the insurance provider and be useful in any sort of way, I decided to give my provider a call (yet again) to see how to assign myself to this office. She kept telling me I could get to a live person in the automated phone system, but I had tried 3 times and had been unsuccessful because the options were very limited. I called her back and after giving me some incredible attitude like I was incompetent or something, asked for my information and said she would call me back to check. Finally, I thought, she can actually do her job for once. Well, if you think you'll get great customer service here then you certainly won't find it. When I finally got a call back from Crystal she told me that I was wrong and that there was an option for me to assign myself to their office and that I "simply had to listen to the menu" as if to say I didn't just spend the last half hour trying to do that on my own. All she said before the end of the voicemail was that, again, she wasn't able to do anything for me. Well she was right. She certainly cannot do anything for me nor can she really do anything at all except answer phone calls with the worst attitude. It surprises me how people can be employed as the face of an office and still have terrible customer service, but I guess this is just a forewarning for the kind of service you can expect to receive in this office. Thank goodness I was assigned to someplace better, with far more credibility, and friendlier office staff. I'll be sure to steer clear from this establishment when there are better options out there.

He wanted to send me to a specialist in case the tooth cracked. I went to specialist and he had no problem getting the tooth out and there was no cracking. Then I called to set up an appointment to get the rest of the work set up to be completed and his office staff told me that since a grievance was filed against him that he no longer wanted me as a patient. The staff lied about what the grievance was about and then said that there was no trust anymore. Now I have to find a new dentist to finish up the work. Total jerk. Had I not called, I would have never known as they did not have the decency to call me themselves.
