    Sugar cookie sandwich

Tiffs treats is wonderful and you can't go wrong with dessert on a HOT day. The cookies are warm, fresh and not over baked. You can purchase single cookies as well. I ordered half a dozen and a cookie sandwich. The shop is small so there's no place to sit inside but there's one bench outside. Service was somewhat slow but there was only one person baking AND running the cashier that day, I hope they hire more people.

One of my favorite cookie joints of all time! Tiffs treats get right, every time. Every cookie is baked to perfect consistency; chewy on the inside and hard on the outside. I like how they switch it up with the cookie of the month. Todays was a lemon and it was so good I'll have to get back before the end of the month to enjoy it again. They even offer to heat them up so you can enjoy that fresh out of the oven taste. Tiff I don't know you, but I love you!

We get Tiff's Treats delivered quite frequently, especially during Teacher Appreciation Week. Tiff's Treats never disappoints. Their warm cookies always arrive fresh, hot, and on time. Our favorite is the double chocolate chip cookie. It tastes like heaven and melts in your mouth! Next time I will take photos of the actual cookies. They are gobbled up so fast I never get a chance.

    A fun surprise delivery!

As a surprise during work-at-home Covid19 times, my husband's employer sent all employees a delivery of warm cookies from Tiff's Treats. We had never had Tiff's cookies before, and thought they were absolutely delicious! We received chocolate chip, peanut butter, white chocolate chip and a kind of sugar crumble snickerdoodle. so warm and soft like they had just been pulled from the oven. Since they were sent as a gift, I can't comment right now on price or ease of ordering but we will definitely try them again! Flavor= A+

Tiff's Treats has been my guilty pleasure since college, so I'm glad they have this location closer to my house in South Austin. The cookies are always perfectly made: nice, warm, and chewy. The employee behind the counter was very polite, and the store was clean and spotless. I typically buy a dozen for coworkers and family/friends, and the box comes with whatever color ribbon you like. Favorite flavors are white chocolate almond and M&M.

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"...so the saying goes. I decided to meet a friend that lives downtown Austin for some ice cream at the The Baked Bear, a frequent hang out spot for her and my first visit. The Baked Bear is located in the Seaholm complex between Cesar Chavez and 3rd Streets near West Avenue. After a couple of samples, I decided on Blackberry Crumble. Our server was so sweet and kind including suggesting some of the shop's favorites. OMG the ice cream was so smooth...so flavorful...so absolutely delicious to eat. Interestingly, the ice cream was reasonably priced. It was great cooling off and enjoying catching up with my friend.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The cheesecake shop is located on N. Lamar in Crescent Plaza and focuses on takeout rather than dine-in service. I ordered their signature Japanese cheesecake, and it was delicious. The cheesecake featured a thin, creamy top layer that paired nicely with the soft, cloud-like texture underneath. Each bite melted in my mouth, making it unlike any cheesecake I have had before.
