Went here for lunch with a buddy today. We got two of the fruit infused teas with bubbles. The orange grapefruit and the summer fruit. Then we got two rice bowls, the general Tso and the kolby beef. Both were really good. The general Tso chicken was absolutely delicious. It reminded me of the almond crusted chicken at Elevator. I've heard the Ramen was just OK, so I'd recommend starting with a rice bowl. There is a Yelp check in deal you can ask them about to get a free order of their house made chips. Everything is very fresh, and delicious, and a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I was happy, and I'll return sometime, if nothing else, for another one of the bubble teas. read more

Excellent food, great service. We have been her twice, once without kids and once with them. The food is very good and there seems to be a good variety. We suggest trying the waffle fries with all of the toppings for non-adventurous eaters. The bubble tea drinks (alcoholic and NA) are very good! read more

It's alright. It's a little expensive for what you get. I got a kalbi beef bowl with yum yum sauce and an egg on top. The taste was good. They put in quite a few toppings like lettuce and radishes and cabbage. Maybe a bit more meat next time? Also, it's downtown so there's basically no parking. You have to park in a garage and walk here. Street parking is usually full, and it isn't all that easy to find. read more

Nice place to meet up with a friend and grab a bite to eat. The food was really good and I would totally recommend the white peach sake. We were traveling through Columbus and really wanted some great ramen. So glad we chose Tiger + Lily. The server did a great job of explaining different options, and walking us through her recommendations based off our preferences. We took a while to decide what we wanted, but the food came out quickly. Very delicious! The Lemongrass Chicken was amazing and tasted so fresh, but the Tso Good Chicken is just that- SO good! I highly recommend it. Also tried the Tiger Signature ramen, which was probably my favorite (of the three I tried). Simple but flavorful. This is what I think of when I think ramen. Also tried the Angus Beef Noodle, which I loved. Cilantro isn't normally a flavor I would associate with ramen but it worked VERY well! The Mala Firecracker was amazing- very flavorful, spicy but not too spicy. The chicken in the Mala Firecracker was probably my favorite thing I tried here. This, my friends, is a unique opportunity in Columbus but especially in the downtown area. Tiger+Lily is not your standard Chinese restaurant. In fact, if you are looking for war su gai you needed to up your Asian food game decades ago. I had heard about their foodie chef and I couldn't wait to try everything they have to offer. These guys are all about flavor. You can taste the difference starting with their iced tea. I had the green tea and I have had nothing like it anywhere. Tiger+Lily is focused on Ramen and bowls at lunch with additional items at dinner. I will be coming back for dinner very soon but today I had a bowl for lunch. The idea here is that you make your own food bowl. First you choose from white rice, brown rice, or salad. Then your filling from lemongrass chicken, TSO good chicken (LOL), Teriyaki tofu, or what I selected, Kalbi beef. Finally you select your sauce from Yum Yum, GoMayo or the just the right amount of spicy Tiger Salsa. I was delighted to notice that the steak in my salad bowl was not the tired flank steak substitute that I had come to expect in a many Asian restaurants. This Angus beef was tender, light and very flavorful. It combined wonderfully with the fresh salsa and salad to make a perfect lunch. My lunch was quick and easy just like the walk to and from their conveniently located Gay street location. My only concern is that everyone will find out what special treat Tiger+Lily is. read more

I loved this place! They have a nice assortment of rice bowls, salads and ramen dishes. I ordered the salad with beef and yum yum sauce! It was filling and everything tasted delicious. I tried a bite of one of the spicy ramen bowls. I don't think I could eat a whole thing of it due to the spice factor but I will come back to try a non-spicy ramen dish. We met one of the owners of the restaurant. Great guy! He said they are also known for their desserts so I'd love to go back and try their Oreo one. One suggestion would be to list what vegetables come with the salad and rice bowls. A must-try if you're looking for something new and different. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. I eat here every single time I am downtown. The food is always amazing, fresh, and delicious and always comes out quickly. I've never had to wait long here. Everyone is always super friendly, it has a fun, casual atmosphere with good decor and music. My favorite things to order are the tso good chicken, the crispy dumplings, the okonomiyaki, and the different teas are great (you can order them hot or cold). Our orders had the toppings mixed up randomly and were missing the chicken topping we had paid for, the corn tasted like it had been frozen, the turkey was bone dry, and the broth was bland and watery. The green tea "mojito" was apparently made with sake. I initially wondered if I was given the right drink, it tasted like watered down sweet tea and had literally none of the components of a mojito. This was the best eating experience I have ever had. Went on a Saturday at 2:00 and sat right down. Had the mala firecracker ramen and it was the best thing I ever ate - seriously. We also had the crispy wonton for an appetizer and it was delicious- the goyza sauce was wonderful. Back to the ramen- man just layers of flavor and texture and I just didn't want it to end. Great kick off. Of the various venues that have taken home in this location, this is one of the better designed interiors. Very comfortable to eat in. I had the signature tonkatsu and the flavoring of the broth was great. Very good chew on the noodles and the toppings were colorful and savory. Had a bubble tea too. Not overpowering and refreshing. Got take out for dinner with Dandan noodles and tso good chicken, and was not impressed. Dandan noodles are fried noodles that are poorly mixed with the sauce, way to dry. The tofu was good but still couldn't compensate the noodles. Tso good chicken was very simple fried chicken rice bowl. It is a poor imitation of Chinese food and American food that ends up plain boring. Bubble tea was innovative and surprisingly delicious. read more

Tiger + Lily is delicious and clean, and has an absolutely wonderful staff. We visited for the first time last evening, and had Barry as our server. He was exceptional. He suggested an appetizer that consisted of rice balls, cheese, panko crumbs, and kimchi. Delish! We each got a rice bowl, which were pretty good. I'd love to see more veggies in the bowls. Came for lunch for the first time to try it. Food tastes delicious; I had a chicken ramen soup and my friend a rice bowl with chicken. The choice of sauces offered with the bowls is disappointing. There's two cream based sauces and a Chinese salsa. The Chinese salsa is meh, and what about people that don't like cream sauces? Where's the soy/ponzu/teriyaki/ssam/bbq sauce option? The ramen is pretty mediocre. The broth is bland and lacks umami and the noodles are almost certainly prepackaged. Not much to say here. And while the portion is sufficient, it's small compared to most other ramen shops. Finally, this place should not be a sit-down restaurant with full service. With such a limited menu and focus on lunch, it should be a counter style ordering system. The full service is awkward and unnecessary. read more

When I was in town I actually came here twice!!! That's how much I like Tiger and Lily. If I remember correctly they had a bomb happy hour which included both drinks and food. The food was super good! If I remember correctly I had the tacos (I know I tried three different types of tacos and one was my jam but I can't remember which one I know it was NOT the coconut one), the yum yum and sweet sriracha wings as well as the sweet potato fries on both visits. I also had my first bubble tea experience here. Bubble tea is much better than I thought! The staff here was super nice. They are very patient with me and explaining what the food was and helping me select things that I would like on the menu. The decor was also super cool and modern. If I'm ever in town I definitely will be stopping here for their happy hour and suggest that you stop in and give them a visit. read more

It's not just the delicious food that makes this place great, it's the people. I went in on a business trip to the area and really couldn't decide what to get. The owner happened over and took the time to explain the dishes, how they were come up with through different cultural influences, and also listened to what I like and make his suggestions accordingly. I had the Tiger ramen, some dumplings, and the next day came back for lunch to try the Tso chicken.
