    House Salad
    Avner M.

Stopped in last night for this Meatloaf special and a salad. The house salad $5.95 and the Meatloaf $12.95. You can't beat the price and the quality is definitely worth going for. All the food here has always been good. Ambiance of this place is nice, it was not crowded, a few people at the bar and I was the only table. I've had the server I had last night before and I'm just not impressed. First she comes to the table and acts like she is just meeting me for the first time? I just let it go because I knew where this service was headed. I ordered my food and I asked for the salad to come out first. Normally that means please bring the salad and give me a chance to eat it before you bring the food out. Well not to this server, but she did bring it out first! She brings the salad out and I maybe got 3 bites and then she brings my food out. I look at her and I say, "already? That was fast? I asked for my salad first thinking I'd have time to eat it before my food came out"? She laughs and says, I told the kitchen to space it out but he just put it up so??? And walks away?? Really?? You're going to blame the kitchen? So I push the salad aside and turn to the meatloaf because I'm not going to let that get cold. A really nice young lady came over and introduced herself as the Manager on Duty, she was also one of the bartenders and asked if everything was good. I told her the food was great but the server? I explained the above about my conversation with this server. She said she was really sorry and would take the salad off my bill. I told her no, I come in all the time, I ordered the salad, I'm taking it home and it will get eaten so please do not take it off the bill. She gave it a good effort but eventually she left it on the bill which I was thankful for because it came home and got eaten. So, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Timber's, the food is really good. This location does not have pizza but other locations do. Lastly, I get boxes for the salad and the rest of the meatloaf, I bag everything up, the server asks if I want anything else, I say no, she tried to push dessert HARD, I continue to say no thank you, thinking she will just bring the bill. Nope, she goes back to the bar and starts chit chatting with one of the bartenders. After watching this for a few minutes I put my hat on hoping she will get the hint I'm done; (food in boxes, food in bag ready to go, not needing or wanting anything else).... The Bartendar notices I put my hat on and sends her back over. I pay the bill, thank the young lady who is the manager on duty and leave. Second bad service experience in two weeks with this server. Next time if she is serving, I'll be sitting at the bar. The server is the reason for 3 stars otherwise it would have been higher.

My son bought a new truck, and offered to take me out to celebrate. We didn't want to go far from home, and wanted a place where we could sit down, not fast food. We are new to Vegas and had seen Timbers but didn't know anything about it. We decided to give it a try. When you walk in, it gives off a friendly and welcoming vibe. There were TVs everywhere! A very nice young lady named KC said we could sit anywhere we'd like. There are these huge wonderfully comfortable looking chairs and tables near a fireplace, we chose them. And they were comfortable!! We started with drinks and appetizers, and then ordered burgers. For appetizers we got the bacon burger nachos and the homemade chips( they had a name-but I'm in a food coma and forgot it) they come with a side of French onion dip. I seriously could go on about each little detail in both appetizers, but suffice to say they were both AMAZING! We were comfortable after sharing them, but decided to order some burgers ( hence the food coma). I had the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and chips-KC brought me more dip!!! My son tried the burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms and a side of potato fries. I managed to eat my burger but got the chips and dip to go. The burgers were great. KC helped me logon to their app, as we told her we'd be back. She said we can earn points for drinks and stuff in the future. She mentioned a Pumpkin spice martini... I may go back this weekend! She was friendly, helpful and genuine. The place was comfortable and for the curious ones-their bathroom is clean. There really is a lot to be said for first impressions, and my first impression was 10 out of 10. I left feeling even better than when I walked in, and we had just bought a car and were there to celebrate. Thank you , Timbers ,see you soon.

    Medium wings tasted reheated

It smells like an old time bar... and I mean that in a good way. I love that smell for some reason! The faint smell of beer and cigarettes! Stopped in for a beer and some wings and while the beer was tall and cold, the wings tasted like they were pre-cooked, then re-cooked. I've eaten enough wings to know these weren't freshly made. The fries were pretty good. The service brought this up from 3 stars. The waitress was awesome and made sure to bring ranch for both the wings AND the fries. She was attentive and friendly.

Our server, Jaclyn, was super friendly and helpful. We also met the manager who was very nice as well. The atmosphere was quiet for a Sunday morning, and conversation was easy. The restaurant area smelled of cigarette smoke because it's right next to the gaming, but that didn't really bother me. Our breakfast was good. The coffee was overpriced so I'll skip that next time. They have some great specials like their Wednesday night spaghetti dinner. I'm also going to sign up for their phone app to receive special offers and coupons! I'm definitely going to try Wednesday Spaghetti night!

undercooked pot pie served by Timbers

On June 15, I ordered 2 pot pies "to go" from Timbers ($39). The food I received was unidentifiable - literally (See photos). I called for a mgr. who agreed the meal never should have been served and offered to immediately replace it. But I don't live near this Timbers, and didn't want to drive clear back. The mgr. said she would call her GM (general manager) and explain what happened (I provided photos of the undercooked food), and the GM supposed to call me to discuss the situation. Meanwhile, the mgr. said my next two meals would be compliments of Timbers. I was grateful but asked if they were going to refund me for the original order. She told me they weren't allowed to issue a refund for the $39 I paid for the pot pies. I pointed out if Timbers didn't issue a refund, then I am essentially paying for the meals replacing the pot pies. There's nothing being given "compliments" of Timbers without a refund. The mgr. could not grasp this simple accounting, but assured me the GM would call within 24/hrs.. Clearly, it's been well over 24/hrs., almost a week to be exact, the GM has had plenty of time to contact me but chose to blow me off. There's nothing less professional than to fail to call a customer after the call has been promised due to a problem with their service. Timbers is notoriously cheap so that came as no surprise. But I thought they had decent management. Do yourself a favor and eat at a different bar. Maybe PT's or Distill.

    Country Two Egg Breakfast

The servers here are really friendly! You are greeted when you walk in and over the course of time, I have always found everyone to be super pleasant. I like that any late night food hungers have a cool late night bites menu at great prices! Wandering in after midnight I wanted to go for an option on the late night bites menu. I craved some breakfast and for $5 - it's a total steal of a deal! It's a full on breakfast portion - two eggs, meat, toast, and choice of home fries or hash browns. I really like the home fries - puffy potatoes! The bartender was by herself working the entire bar and dining area. Given all the tasks - she did great. She always had a smile. It can take a little while to get the food late night if there's a lot of orders in, but if you have a little patience, it's worth the wait.

We visited on Friday for lunch with a party of three and it was a good experience. We were told to seat ourselves upon arrival and we chose a booth off to the side. The dining area was large and clean. The waitress stopped by and took drink orders, their margaritas are tall and strong. We started with Bacon Cheeseburger Nachos. Not sure why they are called that, as there is no bacon at all. None the less, they were very good and included two salsas. From there we ordered the Bozeman Beef Dip, New York Steak Sandwich, and Baby Bear Breakfast. The Bozeman was very, very salty, and I like salt, but this was too much. The pancakes on the breakfast were quite heavy, not fluffy. Basically the food was ok, not great. The service was also ok, there were extended periods when the waitress was absent, but it got better near the end of the meal. She was nice and sociable. Overall, not a bad place for lunch.

    Fried Fish and Shrimp Combo

Stopped by to grab a quick bite! We had a side salad and the fried fish and shrimp plate. The food was delicious. The waitress Jackie was so friendly and helpful. Then J the bartender came over and checked on us. Such a friendly place. You have to go! The ambiance was friendly and helpful.

TIMBERS is a cool spot to visit for multiple reasons but I came for a cocktail after taking my exam, and some tenders and fries! As usual, the food is always hot and fresh! The service was great and the ambiance was nice and chill. It is a bar with gaming so expect some smoking but it wasn't very smoky.. I could only get my fries down and a tender but it was well worth the visit! Until next time...Cheers!

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered fish that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free french fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

    Is this place non smoking?

They have a separate room closed off by doors for dining and offer a full bar. There is no gambling in the dining area. The bar area in general is not that smokey when you compare to other bars.

It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. Ever been on the precipice of HANGRY? Almost had an internal meltdown because you haven't eaten…read moreuntil now? Well, read on.... Saturday morning at 10:19 am, we checked in at the front and had a 5-10 minute wait. The entire restaurant was packed outside and inside and people were still sitting in the waiting area waiting to be seated. But at 10:28 am our table was ready and we were seated promptly by Tammy who also gave us our menus. Coco was our waitress and took our order of a deli sandwich and a veggie skillet and drinks (none of which came with their delicious banana muffins - keep this in mind for later). Our drinks arrived quickly, but for whatever reason my veggie skillet hadn't yet been made. We were seated close to the cooking line, so out of the corner of my eye, I could see our deli sandwich in the window---waiting, all alone like a stood up Tinder date. It looked so sad. I was sad; and then my stomach started rumbling. We waited probably about 25-30 minutes for our food--while the poor Tinder date stood alone. I could see Coco getting frustrated as well with the timing and she pulled aside manger, Lacey, to hopefully find the Tinder date's match. Coco, sensing my handiness brought us over some banana muffins and apologized for the wait. I knew it wasn't her fault and told her so. The line staff was overwhelmed and things happen. Let me tell you that was the best banana muffin in the world at that point (they're always delicious though). About a minute later, Lacey brought my son's sandwich and apologized for the wait and told us the skillet would be out shortly. It came out within the next few minutes. It was absolutely delicious. All the skillets have their seasoned potatoes on the bottom which gives it a nice texture from the eggs and additional softer ingredients on top. Our deli sandwich was piled high with ham and roasted turkey, and lettuce with their seasoned French fries. I failed to take pictures of this Tinder match up of food due to my hangriness, and devoured what I could. They have a great mix of breakfast and non breakfast options while still making it feel like brunch. Lacey ended up comping the skillet due to the issue which was appreciated. Coco stood strong in the face of time, food and someone who hadn't eaten all day and was amazing! She was professional, kind, and I even caught her singing to the rest of the staff at the line in an attempt to get the vibe up. 3 cheers for Coco!! I will always recommend Egg Works for their laid back vibe, comfort foods and brunch options. It really is a great place to eat. Oh, and they also allow dogs on their outside patio, FYI.

Today's experience was the final straw. I ordered a BLT and specifically requested that the bacon not be overcooked. After waiting approximately 30 minutes for a simple sandwich, it arrived with bacon that was completely burnt. The sandwich was dry, disappointing, and honestly difficult to eat. What makes this even more frustrating is that this isn't an isolated experience. I've been here several times hoping things would improve, but every visit seems to end with poor food quality, long waits, or both. At some point, convenience is no longer worth the disappointment. There are too many restaurants in Las Vegas that actually care about the quality of the food they serve and the experience they provide their customers. Sadly, this was my last visit. I won't be returning.

Fast forward to last week, my husband I decide to have a quick lunch date and we decide, let's have a good burger. Decided to share a burger and fries because it's plenty. Long wait at the counter while the counter person was getting ice creams...ok no big deal. We ordered and took a seat. Food came, looked and smelled delicious. A few bites in and my husband dead stops and just stares at me. I asked what was wrong and he said "There's a hair!" Ewwww, I know it happens but ewwww. This wasn't placed on the burger this was in the meat. Ewwww! So my husband lets the girl at the counter know and she is pretty nonchalant about it. Her reply is, oh we can make you another one. Ummmm no thank you!! She goes into the back and lets the kitchen staff know. The reply she got was "Did you offer to remake it?" Now I'm not looking for a handout, but there was no offer of a refund or a free meal or even an ice cream. The staff just reacted like it was no big thing. Not even an apology!! Seems like a customer service lesson could help a bit here!
