Tin Cup is a staple specialty coffee shop & deli in Arlington. No fuss. Just good food for lunch! I love that they use Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They have a few salads, sandwiches, paninis, a daily soup & desserts. You get potato sticks with your sandwich which I don't prefer but have no problem eating. They do make me smile as they bring back memories of my Grandmother and childhood. I also love the bite sized cookie they also serve you for the very same reason. My Grandma always wanted "just a little something sweet" after each meal. We have enjoyed several things over the years. This visit, we got the John Wayne, Alamo (no mayo) & California Gold. You can order take out & catering. Their website is up to date and easy to use. You can rent out rooms for meetings, gatherings, & celebrations. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Tin Cup is a great small business we love supporting!

Ordered for catering here for a work function last week! Sandwiches were great! Just be aware their 20 person platter only give half a sandwich per person so either order for double the amount or plan for sides! We got 2 20 person platters and a 10 person platter for 25 people and there was just the right amount of left overs!

This is the quickest, easiest, and is a very cheap option for some soup and sandwiches. Everything comes out a little over 5 minutes and the service is great. Even though it's small it so perfect and cozy. I come here all the time. And I really recommend.

Good lunch spot! Tomato basil soup was on point and not too heavy. Alamo panini tasted great too

If you want a panini this is the place to come! It was pretty exceptional. I got the Alamo (with extra tomatoes) and it was so good! The bread they use gives the best bite of flavor. My husband got the High Noon and it was also quite the exception. His had a great heat in each bite of jalapeño. Next time I will for sure be adding jalapeño. The only thing I critique is their "fries". I mean...let's call them slivered potato chips if we are being honest here. Kinda just a mess on the plate and not worth being a side. However paying only 50 cents more for a salad is way worth it! We each got potato soup along with our meal. Very well made! My son chopped his grilled cheese down too! The owner is friendly and walked around the restaurant checking on things. The decor is very old but this place doesn't need high fashion with how yummy they are. Great place!

Just delicious! What a gem we have in The Tin Cup here in Arlington! This is a small, clean shop in the UTA area with a unique sandwich menu and friendly service. There are so many interesting menu choices, it was hard to settle on just two. We decided to try The Sundance and The Doc Holiday and both were amazing. Delicious sandwiches served with shoestring potatoes and a cookie. YUM! All drinks are $2.55, You can choose between a bottled soda or a few different varieties of tea you can put in a to-go cup with ice. I opted for the unsweet tea and it was top-notch. If you are in the mood for a delicious and affordable lunch, head over to The Tin Cup!

Great casual place to grab a sandwich. Paninis were tasty and the staff was nice. Glad we went there instead of a sandwich chain

Drove by at 2:30p today to eat and they were closed. Anyone know what's up with that? It was December 1st at 2:30. If you guys are going to be closed you can easily change your hours on yelp and google under "special hours" so people don't try to go.

Just saw this, If it was right after Thanksgiving, we did close for the extended weekend, but there’s no reason we should’ve been closed at 2:30pm outside of that. What day… Read more

I loved it! I say…read more"I" as my wife wasn't as big a fan of the food as I was. We had reservations in a busy Saturday night and were seated at a comfortable 2-top. They were about full when we arrived. Not so much when we left. While I thought there was a game tonight - it's the Eagles in concert at one of the nearby stadiums. Because it was packed when we arrived, the space was fairly loud. Cheyenne was our server and she did great. She knew the menu well and made some suggestions. We had already read the Yelp reviews and sort of knew what we wanted. Two of us shared: - Margarita rocks - Pan con Tomate - Crispy Pork - Jerk Chicken Paella The Pan con Tomate was amazing. Really cool presentation too. The Crispy Pork was real nice. A bit dry due to making it crispy. Really meaty too. The Jerk Chicken Paella was great. Cheyenne told us the jerk seasoning wasn't very spicy. She was right. I would have liked it spicier though but understand the decision to appeal to a broader section of diners. The socarrat was amazing. They make the paella in a small (8"?) cast iron skillet. It made for a perfect caramelization of the rice (socarrat). The dish had jerk seasoned chicken thighs and vegetables. Yum! I would have loved to have the Coconut Cake. But we were full and it was $22. We'll come back to Cafe Americana and try other dishes and the cake!
