Made an appointment at 2:30 but waited over an hour to get my nails done. The salon is not very clean. When I got acrylic applied it felt like it was burning and hot to the touch. I wanted coffin but it was filed to a square shape. The nails feel sharp and thick which is really uncomfortable. The nail art is good I had stickers for the stars but was told not to use them and get it hand painted instead. The price came out to $113 which is really overpriced for what I got. I got an acrylic fill and a star and one rhinestone on each finger that is not worth that much money. I should've asked how much a fill is before getting anything done but I feel like I got scammed. read more

Manicure was $22, which I would have been okay with if it was great or even decent, but it's hard to even say it was mediocre. I'm disappointed because I loved the staff here and would come often but I got a terrible infection on my toe from the pedicure. I went to urgent care and they determined I have paronychia (bacterial infection) from the pedicure. I was told by the salon that it was from not taking enough in grown out and the salon never confirmed with me if they use new tools. 4 days have passed by and I still have the infection and it's painful. The person doing my pedicure did indeed take a lot of in grown out so it is not because I needed more taken out. The urgent care called back with my results and determined that a significant amount of bacteria has grown from the infection. Please pay attention and ask if new tools are being used. The owner was kind and took care of my urgent care bill but I am so extremely uncomfortable with this infection. read more

I expected more from this nail salon, I went in to get my Graduation nails a very simple Acrylic French tip. The gentleman asked if I wanted Gel-X, I declined due to a reaction I get from the Gel polishes. After that my experience declined, after almost an hour of filing. (I do understand the want to have smooth nails they are very light.) These are what I left the shop with. By this time I was upset and exhausted and did not debate the price as I understand acrylics take more work. However 105$ for this set is absolutely outrageous. For a nail salon In Santa Monica I would believe they would have higher standards. The length of each nail is different , the shape is far from what I asked for, the natural nail can be seen, there are air bubbles in the acrylic, the glitter was bumpy. I ended up fixing these nails myself before my graduation. I would hope professionals would have a better eye. read more

I had been getting my nails done here consistently ever since they opened and even recommended my sisters to come here and they became regulars as well. At first our nails were so spectacular and we would just ignore how the cost changed every time and once I even paid $80 for a fill which just shows how much I valued this place yet they took advantage of that. I now know they do not value their customers as they now overbook their appointments to the point that everything is rushed and done so poorly. Our nails began to break after one week, the polish was uneven, and each nail was filed in a different shape.
