I really like that this place is 21+ after 5pm. It's nice to have an adult only play area. The mini golf area seemed small and like it would be a nightmare on a busy night. It was decently crowded for a Monday so we opted for Duffleboard instead. Thankfully we had some free passes to play because at $12 per person, it seemed a little steep. The bartender was great, he came over and showed us the run down on how to play and offered some great tips. We ran through the duffleboard course in about 20 minutes and that's with 4 players. We didn't snag any bar bites but they do have a decent beer menu. I love they offer lots of local breweries like Tilted Mash and New Glory. Unsure if it's for only large parties but I came with a large party and they had a promotional package for 2 hours at a reserve table. You can play all you want however many games and unlimited premade drinks. They are all on tap and premixed, so there isn't any substitutions or anything. And the tall shooters are not part of the promo. The employees were super knowledgeable and nice and you didn't wait long for anything. Upstairs is a speakeasy called The Trophy Room. Has a very nice up class feel to it. But it definitely isn't a dive or regular bar. I just got 2 shots of well vodka for $11 each. This is one of the first spots we had tried when we first got to Sacramento and it was around lunch time so it was not busy and immediately the environment is fun and creative with lots to do all around such as indoor mini golf and other games. There's also a bar right in the middle. The bartender was super kind and welcoming, as it was our first time in Sacramento we talked to Brenan the entire time we were there he had great recs for us to check out. Nice bar and good food. When we got there lots of people were already at the bar and mini golf area. So we decided to try playing the hand table top tiny golf to start. First this mini golf course is terrible, 9 cramped holes, not a legit mini golf course, looks and reacts like a poorly made plastic grass course made in a garage and for $18 unreal, the service was okay until until the bar keep went to grab us some glass ware, why he grabbed them from the back when there was glass ware in plain site. And then I realized why, he wanted us to enjoy our $36 pitcher of bier with dirty sticky glasses, these were not only obviously dirty they were extremely sticky, dried bier foam on the inside and outside, one of our glasses had lipstick smudges. I asked for some clean glasses and got them after 10 minutes of waiting for someone to exchange them, and when it comes to bang for your buck don't get the pitcher, it's not enough for four glasses unless you pour all crazy to get two inches of foam. My friend and I were on a double date with our dudes here recently and she fully assumed I misspelled shuffleboard. Nah, but I would though. Duffleboard is using a wee push stick thingie to try and smack a ball into a hole, at about waist level. Imagine a tiny golf hole on a table, and there's nine of them in a course. It's really stinkin' fun. They also have mini golf, if you would rather. Other offerings include food, drinkies, a photo booth, tvs with sportings, and even a speakeasy iykyk. Order a game as you would a drink or snack at the bar. It's about $10 a person per game if I recall correctly. The food is pretty decent, of the Mexican variety, but pricy for what you get. They do not have a full bar, but they do have pre-mixed cocktails that are yummy. The bf and I appreciate their rotating beer and wine list too. Located underground next to the Golden One Center, this place can get pretty cracking before or after a Kangs game or event. Parking is a bit of a mess nearby so public transport or rideshare is recommended by me. Flatstick is a fun place to hang out with friends and get up to some mischief, but not a place for trying to hold a conversation. I was looking for a good place to have a fun night out with a group and one could argue that I found it. One could argue this for several reasons. The first being the location of Tipsy Putt. Tipsy Putt is located in the heart of downtown nestled neatly between sky scrapper buildings that make you feel small and insignificant in a good way and other smaller buildings. So if you do tire of Tipsy putt or want to get some fresh air there are other bars and nightlife right outside the venue. Now I'm no lawyer but, I think my second argument is pretty solid. Tipsy putt has a lot of things to do when you are there. I don't know about you, but I will always choose activities over sitting in some crowded bar and having a mildly enjoyable conversation because half of what people are saying is being drowned out by the noise of the bar. Don't get me wrong that is very much so still mildly enjoyable but I enjoyed Tipsy Putt because it's spacious, has games like golf, shuffle board, connect four etc. and large tables for big groups to talk and hear each other. You really get to complete the communication cycle if you know what I'm sayin. The third reason I would argue that Tipsy Putt is a a great place is because their food is actually quite delicious. I shared a nacho platter, normal sized and it was a good amount of food. We also got the Quesabirria plate which was super tasty. The quesabirria were a little smaller than I expected but filling all the same. I'm sure there are other reasons but I think thats enough for now. I think thats probably how lawyers end their arguments right. "Alright well thats about it Oh wait the cider. I got a cider that was very good. Ok now I'm done". Case closed. Flatstick Pub was one of 3 places we went out to. It reminded me of Coin-Op. It's my first time here so from first impressions, it was pretty fun. The group in front of us went into a speakeasy they had behind a door up front! We went downstairs. The atmosphere was light and everyone was just there to have a fun night. The place had puns painted or neon signs on the walls which I found cute and funny. Dranks: They have a bar in the middle of the room- mainly beers on tap and cocktails. Drinks to sip on while you play games and chill. No shots. My friends and I got 2 Moscow mules and 1 Jack and coke. Games: main one is mini golf- it went fairly quick. 9 holes, but a small course and you would have to wait for people in front. Balls are purchased at the bar and clubs are sanitized and placed in a bucket near to the left of the merch counter near the course. There's a hole with the Sacramento tower bridge in the middle which looked pretty dope. There was also a life sized jenga, corn holes, and duffleboard. read more

It tasted like a half burrito with two buns and there was no crema, cheese or salsa. For the price, you'd expect it to come with the base ingredients that make a torta what it is. With demanding work schedules and being attentive to our significant others and children, my friends and I have to be intentional about carving out time to hangout and catch up. Thankfully one of my friend's does a great job with scheduling monthly outings so that we can have some fun while discussing some of our life experiences. Since my wife and I have been working 100% from home for almost two years, we are no longer in the "know" about some of the hot spots in Downtown Sacramento. Therefore, I was ecstatic to hear that our next guy's outing would be at Flatstick Pub. When we arrived at the entrance point that leads down to Flatstick Pub, we were greeted by a friendly security employee who ID'd use before granting us entrance to the "basement." When we made it downstairs, we were greeted by an open floorplan with a wraparound bar, a cute miniature golf course, high table seating, and an open area with cornhole and other games. Our first stop was the bar where there was an assortment of beers and ciders on tap. That particular night I was feeling really classy; therefore, I opted to order a glass of Cab from their limited wine menu. After chatting for a few minutes, we paid $40 total for a game of miniature golf (this included three balls since there were three of us). We had a great time on the golf course. Everyone was friendly, so we did not run into any issues when we were taking additional time to complete a hole. After golfing, we ordered additional drinks and played cornhole with some strangers. The vibes that night were awesome. I'm not sure if they were playing to the particular crowd that night, but the music was definitely on point! I will definitely add this as an option to my date night running list. The service: the number one thing I have to note was that the woman helping us order food was phenomenal. She was so sweet, an absolutely ray of sunshine.
