After enjoying the Beerfest at Na t s stadium we capped off the evening with a visit to Tipsy scoops. We arrived in the evening and many nods the non milk screams were sold-out. However, the young lady at the counter indicated they had one sherbet type that she thought I would enjoy ..and she was absolutely correct. Numerous varieties were offered on the menu both milk based and non milk based products. Please ensure you bring identification because they do check to ensure you are at the age for consumption of alcohol products (get it...Tipsy). Seating was available inside and out. However, parking in the immediate area is a premium. However, there are parking garages in the immediate area. The young ladies were pleasant and customer focused. If and when in the DC area, please take a moment to treat yourself to a visit The sign inside says it all, Ice-cream sounds everything!!!

I recently visited Tipsy Scoop for the first time and honestly had a really fun experience. The concept of boozy ice cream is such a cute and unique idea, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I ended up trying the Cake Batter Vodka Martini flavor and loved it -- it was flavorful, creamy, and definitely worth trying if it's your first visit.

As soon as we entered we were greeted with colorful walls and vibrant decorations. The staff was super friendly and let us know that she'd be happy to give us 4 samples. After trying various flavors we decided on the flight as I wanted to try more of them! All of the flavors I choose were to my liking and my friend loved hers so much that she took home a pint! I'm super excited for the Baltimore location to open!

Went on two separate occasions and they were out of stock of basically all the sorbets each time. One time they one had one flavor of the sorbet second time they had two flavors. But no mango , cherry blossom, or strawberry . Only had raspberry sorbet. Had many of the icecream ones minus the second time didn't have the hazel nut one. So couldn't do the speciality flavors I wanted the tequila sunrise . And it wasn't enough of one of the flavors for the flight. It was good just need to be better stocked especially when it's not even cold yet . Place is cute just small. Service is good they are nice.

Tipsy scoop is an amazing experience in the NW area of Washington DC. They offer a wide variety of boozy ice cream options to include flights! If your local or have the ability to travel with a cooler you can also buy pints to go. The inside is a bit small but the decor and service is amazing. You can hardly taste the liquor in the ice cream and it's more of an art with the creations that they offer! My must stop when visiting DC.

My third time here and this place NEVER disappoints Make sure to try the flavors! It's very hard to pick a favorite because they are ALL good! Make sure you stop by!!!

My friend was in town and wanted to try this spot, and I'm glad we did! The temps were in the 80s, so it was the perfect time for something cool. I love the concept here with ice cream or sorbet paired with alcohol like tequila or whiskey. I sampled several flavors, and while I was hoping to love the chocolate with whiskey and salted caramel (it ended up tasting more like plain chocolate cream), the raspberry limoncello with tequila was a winner. It was light, refreshing, and really delicious. The service was great too! Our cashier was amazing...she gave us suggestions on what to try and let us sample flavors until we found the perfect one. A fun bonus was getting to sign the signature wall, which added to the experience. Overall, I'd recommend stopping by if you're looking for a unique treat.

I decided to try this place after passing by the store several times throughout my time in DC. I decided to sample some flavors before I finally decided on the vanilla bean bourbon. I will say the scoop of ice cream was good, but respectfully, I will not go out of my way for a $9 ice cream scoop anytime soon. The staff inside was friendly and was very encouraging for me to sample all my interested flavors. Indoors, there are seats for patrons and interestingly enough, receives a decent amount of sunlight. Although I am glad I went to this shop, I will probably come by every once in a while due to its price and other ice cream options in the area.

I recently checked out Tipsy Scoop for the 1st time. I got to meet the owner Danielle who has a great vibe. They serve liquor-infused sundaes, ice cream cocktails, and flights . It also has vegan and Non-alcoholic flavors available for kids and non-drinkers. They recently launched their Boozy Holiday Flight Experience, so I stopped in to try their newest seasonal flavors and trust me, it's worth the visit. They host monthly Ice Cream Cocktail Mixology Classes. I'll definitely be back.

Whenever I am in the DMV, I try to cross one of the places off my list). This time, I visited Tipsy Scoop (TS). TS locations are called barlours, a combination of the words "bar" and "ice parlors" (the British spelling of parlors). The DC location is one of seven company-owned locations. I am somewhat lactose intolerant and need to avoid high-lactose foods, so I was initially worried that I would only have one flavor to enjoy. However, when I visited this location, I found four vegan and dairy-free options available. I decided to try a scoop of each: raspberry limoncello and strawberry white sangria sorbets. Both flavors were delightful! I was especially surprised by the raspberry limoncello, considering that I had a limoncello in Italy last summer that I did not enjoy. You have the options of scoops/pints, sandwiches, sundaes, cocktails (both with and without ice cream), cakes, and flights. There are also non-alcoholic flavors always available for children and non-drinkers.

I went to Tipsy Scoop for their 1 yr Anniversary today! This location is vibrant and fun. I love this whole concept of boozy ice cream. You can either get it by the scoop, get a flight, or one of their fun cocktails. The guy behind the counter was so friendly and let me try all the flavors. Let me say they are all good. They even have a couple flavors without booze for the mocktail folks. I got one scoop of the birthday cake to help celebrate. I loved the taste and bits of cake in the ice cream. They also sell boozy ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and you can take away a pint. I can't wait to go back and get a boozy flight. The Owner Danielle was there. She is such an amazing person. Definitely worth stopping by for a nice treat.

Tipsy Scoop is NEVER A MISS! EVER!! My cousins came to town and the weather was GORGEOUS! So I took them down to Tipsy Scoop for some ice cream before hitting the museums! Of course the ice cream was DELICIOUS as always, they had a few new flavors, we were offered samples but the cherry blossom has me in a chokehold, I can't stop ordering it -- mind you, I'm a chocolate lover, so there's my reason to order two different scoops. They did have a peanut butter pint which was new and I took that home for my BFF to try. The line moved rather quickly and we were in and out with great customer service.

    Kendra B.

Tipsy Scoop is definitely a fun concept! The ice cream drinks are $25 and up, but the bright side is you get a souvenir glass--which I still use for my iced coffee, lol. The vibe was enjoyable and it's a cool spot to try at least once. That said, the alcohol content is only about 5%, so even after finishing the whole thing, it's not really "giving tipsy." For me, it's more of a once-in-a-while treat than a regular go-to.

They have a great list of unique rotating flavors, and it's always fun to come back to try out their new seasonal releases. A few of my favorites over the years have been their hibiscus sorbet -- a delightful dairy-free addition to their Hispanic Heritage Month flavors that is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet -- the cinnamon cardamom -- a super spiced ice cream that, despite being freezing cold, feels like you're about to drink a warm beverage -- and blueberry sour cream crumble. When I'm feeling less adventurous, they also have a really solid strawberry ice cream that uses real berries (none of that artificial nonsense you see in grocery stores) with a delightful fruity, slightly tangy flavor. There's usually a pretty long line, but it moves quite quickly since they don't allow samples. It's also a small space that gets crowded pretty easily, so I'd recommend taking your ice cream to go and enjoying it as you walk around Mt Pleasant or on the benches just below the entrance to Mount Desert.

They also don't let people sample, which is weird for an ice cream place. I said absolutely not. I need to see it. She proceeds to just keep standing there to try and force me to pay without seeing my bill. I have never been at an establishment that not only will not let you see your bill, but tells you to pay and then you can see your bill. She does this about three times and we're at a standstill to the part where I say I will leave if you do not show me my bill and I can call and pay for it afterwards and then she's able to go to the register and get a copy of my bill which it shouldn't have been that difficult and then I say I would actually like to talk to the manager. 6. The manager was pointless. If I was a manager, I would be completely remorseful and apologetic and he was neither. the main question he kept asking was is there something wrong with the bill. Which I responded, what's going on a customer should be able to see the bill without going through all these hoops and he asked me again. Was there a question about the Bill. I responded again. I should be able to see my bill without all of these other their questions. This was a disappointing experience at a restaurant. They drove out of my way to go to. A customer should not have to call a manager over just to see a copy of their bill. To keep standing there after I said I want to a copy expecting me to pay without seeing the bill is wild and unacceptable. And a manager should absolutely handle it better when their employees doing this. Bad customer service.
