Wet Burrito, Fried Chicken & Waffle, Breakfast Sandwich

One of my favorite brunch spots in OC! The wet burrito is to die for. I love that they have a bar too, with good/unique coffee options as well. The patio is lovely and it has the perfect brunch ambiance. Something that people miss is their fire pie's in the front. Overall loved my experience every time I've dined here!

Portions were huge and the food was pretty good. I was disappointed in the fries because from what I've seen from other reviews they looked like they were supposed to be more seasoned and crispy. We came at breakfast time on a Saturday so they were pretty busy. The service reflected that as well as it was hard to get a hold of someone to get any extra condiments and even once we did the lady never brought the ranch we asked for. I loved that they have Asian inspired flavors for their dishes and will definitely be back to try some other dishes. They charge an extra dollar for the juice for mimosas even though that isn't posted on the menu just a heads up.

Wow, i usually am not a breakfast or brunch person but this place is truly amazing in both the food and the service. You cant go wrong with the smash burger and the chicken and waffles as we wanted a brunch vibe. Not only was our server amazing, but the manager was so kind and attentive and has definitely won us over !

Service was exceptional! The owners are super sweet and you can tell they are very passionate about having Toast Kitchen. They offer outside and inside seating. Ube French toast 5/5 the French toast was not overly sweet. This is a plus imo! I liked how you can taste everything from the bread, ube, and maple syrup. Each individual flavor didn't overpower one another and it was a perfect balance.

Such a cute brunch and cocktails for a chill Saturday! My close girlfriend and I met up for drinks and fries (a tradition of ours) and stumbled upon Toast. The staff were so friendly and sweet - I wish I got her name but she was the best and made us feel so welcomed. We got the pho fries and devoured it!!! Overall, not too pricey drinks and reasonably priced munchies

I had the best brunch at Toast Kitchen with my friends recently. We ordered several dishes to share so we could try different menu options. Ube French Toast (5/5) - This french toast was the star of our brunch. The thick broiche was delicious with the ube pastry cream and blueberry sauce. I loved that this dish wasn't too sweet but had amazing flavor. Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/5) - This fried chicken sandwich was so delicious. The fried chicken was huge on the brioche bun, and the coleslaw was paired perfectly. Chilaquiles (4/5) - The chilaquiles were pretty tasty with the shredded pork and sunny-side-up egg. It had a nice tangy verde sauce. Pho fries (4/5) - Interestingly seasoned shoestring fries with a mixture of spices, including five spice

If youre looking for a really good brunch place bit didnt make a reservation and dont want to wait ten years for a table, may i suggest: TOAST! Theyve got something for everyone and its all beautiful, unique, and delicious. They have a distinct filipino fusion vibe with a fully stocked bar and some coffee shop pastries/drinks. We got their mimosa flight and the flavors (yuzu, hibiscus, peach, and coconut) were all fantastic. And i havent seen them done before! My chilaquiles were absolutely delicious, not spicy but very flavorful, and i would LOVE to get those again. The egg was perfectly runny and the salsa fit the dish so well. Nice and crispy chips. Boy got the sisig burrito, and loved it. It was a good size and filled with pork and french fries with a good aioli. The korean chicken sandwich looked great, and the chicken and waffles were very interesting- i think they fry the chicken with something vaguely fish-tasting which was interesting.. but the chicken was very tender. We got a mango pie and it was just ok. Theyre beautiful, but save room for something else. There was no wait for our party of 4 on Saturday at 10am. Theres a big parking lot and indoor+outdoor seating. What a treat!!

Love this place!! Literally no negatives about it!!! - Lots of parking - Quick, attentive; and friendly service (they speak English and Tagalog!) - Vegetarian options - Good lattes! - Cute, trendy, minimalist decor inside - Also able to just order from the bakery and go if you don't want to sit down and eat - Amazing pies!!!

The service was great. We had an outdoor seating, but the server constantly checked up on us. I wanted something sweet, so I got the ube french toast and it was a perfect amount of sweetness. If I came back I would probs get something savory.

What a pleasant surprise this place was. A girlfriend of mine invited me here for breakfast and there was no disappointment except for the latte. I used to work in the coffee industry, and I can tell that either they use cheap coffee, they have not cleaned their espresso machine or their beans have been out for too long and are possibly expired. It is also possible that the grind is off or maybe it's something else. The latte tasted as if the coffee was rancid or old. My açai bowl was out of this world and my friends. Breakfast burrito was also delicious. The staff were very welcoming and wonderful and the place was spotless. Definitely coming back for the Basque cheesecake because we didn't get a chance to try it because I had to run.

    Thai Chilaquiles with chicken
    Vivian N.

Thai chilaquiles (6/10) - this dish is normally made with pulled pork, but we were told we were able to sub it up for chicken, and it tasted pretty good still. My favorite part of the dish was definitely the pickled onions, they were the star of the show! Overall, I feel like the dish was somehow too sweet, yet felt like it needed some type of sauce. There were also a lot of beans which made most of the tortilla chips, too soggy and hard to eat. Ube latte (7/10) - it was very sweet and milk/creamy forward. So if you like that, it's a very good drink! I personally didn't taste as much ube as I was hoping for but still good.

We came on Sunday around noon and waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. It was really nice inside also with a glass window for their baked goods as well! We ordered the Ube French toast, pork belly bowl, and breakfast sandwich. We were really surprised by the size of all the items and were really full by the end of the meal, but I was definitely impressed by how tender the pork belly was and just the flavor of the overall bowl ! I wished there was more sauce in the bowl. And the French toast was amazing (as an Ube lover) along with the blueberry sauce and blueberries (and I'm not a blueberry fan either). Would love to come back and try their other items!

Parking - Small parking lot in the shopping center which fills up quickly. Ube Latte - This was tasty and not too strong of an ube flavor. You can add espresso if you want. Sisig Burrito - It's large and hearty. I enjoyed the combination of flavors but wish that it came with a sauce and possibly a side dish. Service - Our server was very nice, but the service was slow. Our dining experience took almost 2 hours from being seated to getting the check back after paying. Mini pies are a decent size and I ordered one to go since I was full from my meal.

We started with the Classic Mezze, and I really loved the tomato dip. It was fresh, bright, and flavorful with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. It paired so well with the warm pita and was a great appetizer to share. The Santa Ana Omelette was definitely my favorite and something I'd highly recommend! The melted cheese was so gooey, and the fresh pico de gallo added the perfect pop of flavor. Every bite was creamy, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. My friend ordered the French Platter, and it looked so beautiful on the table. The pastries were buttery, flaky, and definitely on the richer side, making them perfect to enjoy with coffee. The Utopia Latte was sooo good! It had delicate floral notes, and the white chocolate sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. It was smooth, fragrant, and such a unique latte. The Strawberry Salad was light, crisp, and super refreshing, especially alongside the richer dishes. For dessert, the Pistachio Baklava was the perfect finish. Crispy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweetness. If you're looking for a beautiful spot for a brunch date, a coffee catch-up, or simply a peaceful place to unwind, this is definitely worth checking out. The food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful, and the whole vibe makes it such an enjoyable place to spend a slow afternoon.

Our server, Lee, was amazingly friendly and helpful throughout the night. - Salmon Cortada (Must get): Absolute favorite dish. It comes with two pieces featuring glistening, incredibly soft salmon over bread with subtle hints of sweetness and lemon. A remarkably complex and delicious bite. - Octopus (Second Favorite): Layered over a bright green sauce with a touch of chili. Perfectly cooked, super tender, and packed with flavor. - Anchovies: A fresh, oily, and satisfying appetizer to start the meal. - Braised Mushroom: Cool presentation with a poached egg in the center. Very tasty, though a fairly familiar flavor profile. - Elote: Tasted a bit more like a basic corn salsa than classic elote. Not my favorite. - Bread & Ham Butter: Sounded interesting. Personally wouldn't order this again, as I prefer a light whipped butter on rich, buttery bread over sourdough. - Basque Cheesecake: A solid dessert to end on. Tasty, not overly sweet, and the cheese flavor wasn't too overpowering. Parking in the back is quite tight with only about 5-6 spaces. There is also some street parking too.

Their salmon bagel is super good too. I'm not a fan of caper but you can just ask them to not include it or just take them off yourself. If you look at my picture, under the salmon, there is a big slice of tomato that adds on to the flavor. Its so thick that I cant get a mouthful with all the flavors in one bite. After I tried the salmon bagel here, it's really hard for me to be satisfied with a salmon bagel anywhere else. They also have 2 soups of the day that they post on their Instagram. My favorite is their chicken Chipotle soup. Again, I love it so much I tried to make it at home so I can eat it if I'm craving it on a day that its not the soup of the day. I even drove from Westminster because I was looking forward to enjoying one of their sandwiches that I hadn't had in a long time. I also ordered an oatmeal raisin cookie, which unfortunately tasted unusually salty. I called to share my feedback about the cookie, and the response I received from Frank was dismissive and unhelpful. He stated that he tastes the cookies every morning and insisted there was nothing wrong with them. There was no offer to replace the item or further address my concern, and the conversation ended abruptly with a brief "have a good day." Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of attentiveness and willingness to engage with a customer concern over what was simply one menu item.
