This area has so many hibachi places; I've been to most of them and this is my favorite. I like that its brightly lit and the most clean of the locations I've visited, though it is also one of the newest. Hopefully they can keep it up. The food at these places honestly tastes pretty similar, but I liked that this place offers ribeye on the hibachi menu, which is my favorite cut of steak. Very large portion size. read more

I've only had take out so I can really only comment on that and food quality. I ordered on two separate occasions the first time was no rice sushi. I appreciate that they offer low carb options, but the taste was not to my liking, bland and watery. The second time I ordered hibachi, a shrimp and scallop combination, it was very tasty. My only grip is that they didn't offer lunch sizes, so I paid $35 for a dinner portion I can't eat in one sitting. read more

I am a big fan of hibachi grills so when I spend $20 or more I expect to get my money for my value. This place however did not live up to the amount of money that I spent. The fried rice taste like old oil was used there was no garlic being used, no onions being used and no Oyster sauce being used enhance the flavor of the fried rice it just tasted like old oil. This steak was really good however the vegetables also to taste like old oil and burnt grill. The sushi doesn't state that Imitation crab was going to be used but I believe that it was. I have to say we are sushi snobs and make the drive to Blue Fish or better.. but what a great place near home, Rockwall. We hated the previous establishment but absolutely LOVE Tokyo Hana. The rainbow roll is absolutely perfect! This will be our new go to for sushi place. Not sure what they put in the ponzu sauce but WOW. So happy you are only 5 minutes away. read more

This place is 10/10, I went here for dinner with my family and the food was so good. We got the seafood kitchen dinner, California sushi roll and the Mongolian beef. All the dishes were fresh, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. The fried rice is the star. So good and flavorful!!! Our waiter was so sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was amazing, Heather served and so did Hoe (I'm not too sure if that's how you spell his name) we also met the owner and he was so welcoming. This restaurant is located right by the lake and has amazing view walking in. However, it's very disappointing that there is no view from from inside the restaurant and no outdoor seating. Let's talk about food! I love Sushi and this is one of the disappointing sushi spots for me. One of the rolls I ordered, the crawfish roll didn't come in as a roll but on a bed of rice. The sashimi tasted fresh. All of the other rolls I ordered was bleh, like something you can order at any cheap sushi restaurant. There were a serious lack of creativity. The fried rice was also a disappointment due to lack of seasoning. We ordered the stir fried noodle for our kids and they were super salty. Honestly, I would rather just go to Kaizen down the street for much better food menu in the Rowlett area. Not to say that Kaizen has the best food, just for the proximity of where we are, Kaizen is a much better option and the price is a bit more reasonable with more creative dishes. read more

Some of the best sushi I have ever had! Especially the salmon, in Texas it's hard to find fish this fresh and it was absolutely amazing. I tried the crunchy salmon roll it's the best I've ever had. The Alaskan roll, the salmon sushi and the salmon nigiri was just incredible. I love this place. The service was great and food came out super fast. read more

We took the family to celebrate our twin daughters turning the big 5-0 and it was a totally enjoyable experience for all! We did the hibachi and sushi appetizers and everything was delicious. Plenty of leftovers were taken home. The wait staff was very attentive and we certainly didn't go without. They sang Happy Birthday while playing drums and the girls got to wear the cutest hats while being served fried ice cream. Definitely will return. read more

Love the Hibachi Chicken, Fried Rice, Vegetables, and Salad. I do not like the soup- I believe it is a shrimp broth but it tastes fishy and I personally don't like fish. The food here was fine, however the service was not. My family and I had gone for my sister in laws birthday and once we were seated we had to wait a full HOUR for our chef to arrive. This was a chef we had not seen working any other tables or anything. We had made reservations as well btw. My 4 year old nephew was so excited to watch the chef cook and was giggling and the chef MOCKS HIS LAUGH. This was right at the beginning too so the entire experience for him was completely ruined. My brother and I tried to comfort my nephew and guess what the chef does.. MOCKS HIM AGAIN!!!! After that I snap at the chef and he is now no longer interacting with us (as he should) and we all just wanted to leave. My mother would ask the chef questions and he would just completely ignore her. He then started rushing the service because at that point the tension was extremely high. His only joke he ever had was "I'm a white guy at a japanese restaurant cooking!". Once our chef left a different one came over to apologize because he saw the entire thing. We will never ever be coming back to this establishment. What grown man makes fun of a toddlers laugh like that? I hope he's no longer working there because he just completely ruined everyone's experience. Such a pathetic POS!!!!!! read more
