We ordered takeout from the counter. We were told we couldn't get sushi because they had no rice. We ordered bowls instead. My husband ordered double veggies and salmon. The salmon was so overcooked and dry it was inedible. I ordered shrimp with brown rice and veggies. It was ok. We waited 35 for our food while others who came in long after us got their food and left. When I finally asked I was told they were waiting on the potstickers. This place has poke, but if you know what poke is supposed to taste like I wouldn't recommend it. I also wouldn't recommend the sushi. It's reminiscent of grocery store sushi. In general, I have mixed feelings about Tokyo Joe's. It's good to be able to get Asian food quickly and there are some healthy choices here if that's what you are looking for. But the chicken is bland, the wrapping on the potstickers seems uncooked (it's not, it's just lack of taste), and the California rolls could use help. The sauce is your only hope for having food with some flavor. Today's experience has really soured me on this particular location. I ordered a bento box with California rolls as one of the choices. Our meals came out fairly quickly but the server who delivered them explained that the rolls weren't ready and he'd bring them soon. At least 20 minutes later, as we were almost done with our meal, I went in to ask about the rolls and was told the sushi counter was behind. I explained I was almost done eating and they said they'd make them to go. It was 90 degrees out and we weren't heading home for a while, so that didn't seem wise. I told them to just bring them when they had them, and they showed up 5 or 10 minutes later, when I was done eating. I don't know how they could run out of California rolls and not have more for 30 minutes. But here's what really annoys me - when I ordered they could have told me they were out of them and asked if I wanted something else. The server who brought my food without them could have apologized for the delay but didn't. The cashier who I spoke to when they still hadn't come 20 minutes later was indifferent and did not apologize. Nor did the server who finally brought them. All someone had to say to me somewhere along the line was, "I'm sorry, we're out of California rolls. Do you want to wait or do you want something else?" And when they finally arrived, all the server had to say was, "I'm sorry for your wait." That would have made a big difference. You messed up Tokyo Joes, and while it wasn't life threatening, your employees are there to ensure a good experience for the customer. Clearly they have not been taught this. I see this is a common complaint here, and management has not responded to one complaint. As I'm typing this, I'm still sitting at Tokyo Joes, and I see the table next to us just got their order of spring rolls, after they finished their meals. Management needs to step in here and gets things running smoothly. read more

First time at a Tokyo Joes. Their menu is extensive. This place is definitely fast-casual, so the wait will be a bit longer, but prices are reasonable and the ingredients are fresh. If you're a big eater like I am you'll wanna get their biggest ramen bowl. The Peanut sauce was to die for and i'd recommend picking up a jar to take home for making pad thai in your own kitchen! Nothing says you're a valued guest in our restaurant like coming around and asking to pull the usable condiments off the table while guests are still eating. This place is awful! I got "sushi rolls". Upon first bite and each there after I felt like the old "where's the beef" commercial! "Where was the fish", no joke, it was about the size of the tip of my pinky and I'm a girl so, no big hands here! . Food, considering the green dragon sauce, amazing. However, the cashiers at this location are absolute failures. They do not understand the 5 points, and they are not friendly. Every time I have walked in (7 times), they act as though it is a major inconvenience to even speak to another person. Having worked at Tokyo Joes for 5 years, I am supremely bothered by this. I have been in the food industry for 14 years, and this is the worst customer service I have experienced. Please retrain these pricks to put on a friendly face, say hello with a smile, and not make me feel like a nuisance when I order. I also observed other guests that seemed to feel intimidated by ordering. The staff needs to understand their jobs depend upon business, and that guests that visit provide them with paychecks. Furthermore, I am from Colorado Springs, not some pompous trust fund Castle Rock baby. Lol. Seriously I love Tokyo Joes, and will definitely continue going regardless of the shit attitudes the cashiers at this location display. The food is pretty good. The staff is rude. We went there for dinner tonight and the person who delivered our food might as have spit in it. He just threw out food on the table and took off. We asked for forks and he went and grabbed some dirty ones and we watched him rinse them off and try to give them to us. We won't be eating here again. read more

Let's just say it has no flavor. I got the spicy yaki or whatever it is called and water had more flavor. I asked for spinach and literally got 2 yes 2 leaves of spinach. A few more sprouts not many a couple of shrooms a few pieces of broccoli with lots of brown rice and a little beef. It came cold so I hope you don't like hot food. The server was very friendly and attentive. Other then that take your money elsewhere. I've eaten at another location and didn't like it then. I guess Tokyo Joes just blows. EVERYWHERE! Always love these restaurants... friendly people, comfortable decor, and great food! But, after visiting this location several times.... This location skimps on the portions of "what counts." The surf and turf has far too little meat compared to other locations. The Cali Poke Roll has far too little tuna compared to other locations. Each roll should have a mound of tuna on top... not just a thin line of tuna down the center of eight rolls. And, it's not only these selections, and it's not just a little bit less, but a large noticeable amount less. I don't know why they do this, presumably to save money and be more profitable. But, I have to say, we are far more likely to drive the extra few miles to the Tokyo Joe's by Park Meadows Mall, or hit the one at Arapahoe Crossing before we come to this location again. I have to give this place 4 stars though... the people are super nice, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, and even though they skimp... the food is D-Lish! read more

I am a fan of Tokyo Joes but this location is having issues. I've been coming to this location since it opened and it has already gone down hill. The last few times we have been there the staff taking your order seem irritated and not helpful. They don't get the orders right, they are usually missing a topping or a side. I love the poke bowl ($11) and they are skimping on the protein lately. No-one is wiping tables so you have to wipe down your own table. Hope this changes soon or we may stop going. read more

So visiting from Hawaii and was taken here by my family. Awesome decor and the food is good. Best sushi/asian inspired food I've had here. Food is cheap compared to what I'm used to paying in Hawaii. Sauces were savory and meat was soft. I had a salmon bowl and it was good, ingredients were fresh...although I think it would be amazing with smoked salmon instead of plain salmon. First time at this location. Couple of things to say about it. 1. It is busy, I came in around 2:30pm and it was still very busy. 2. The food options are amazing, such a healthy change of pace from all the other fastfood options in the area! 3. The service was a bit slow waited about 10 minutes for my bowl and sushi, however I was taken care of by the manager. I believe his name was Kevin, very kind and upbeat! 4.
