Came here on 4/25/18 for lunch. Friendly staff, cleans restrooms. My Double Bacon Cheeseburger was decent, the bun was soggy and the meat wasn't cooked like I like it. I work down the street from Tom's place and have driven past it multiple times, I always notice people coming in and out of it; so I thought "hey! Let's go try it." I sure am glad I did! This is a legit casual diner. You know a place is good when all of the construction/industrial workers are in there with their crews eating food, and ordering to go! I went with a classic bacon avocado burger with fries. When this thing came out I couldn't believe my eyes! This burger was HUGE, full of fresh tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion and avocado! First time trying Tom's burgers and I am very pleased to say that it is absolutely delicious! They have a vast selection of items on their menu from Mexican food to sandwiches and burgers as well as lots of sides. It is a cute little hole in the wall but just a warning it's a very small parking lot so not a lot of parking although they do have a drive through which is convenient. He can't wait to come back and eat the best bacon cheeseburger he has ever had again. Thin patty, and the bacon was done 'right' - crispy and carmelized. I had the 2 eggs any style, which came with rough cut hashbrowns (home fries) and buttered toast. I am very picky when it comes to my favorite style of egg - over easy. I want my yolks completely runny and steaming hot, and my whites completely solid. These came to me with runny, lukewarm yolks surrounded by slightly runny whites. It wasn't bad enough for me to send them back or swear off the restaurant, but still... :/ The service was friendly and thoughtful. I am a fan. this is an alternative to In & Out which I am a big big fan. I am sure a lot of us want something different in the taste of a burger and Tom's Place fits for me. portion is large. ordered a 1/3 pound cheeseburger with mushrooms. was tough for me to finish but here you go.. ate the whole thing. the combo also comes with fries. good portion and well done. and Ice tea . Perhaps a bit more variety on the drinks like Aqua Fresca.. as they have Horchata. but Lemon Bang.. sounds awfully sweet and not great tasting. Under $12.00 a bit more than In & Out but was not unhappy. My order was messed up. Jennifer gave me my bag of food and told me that everything was in the bag. As I drive away I realize that I'm missing a burger and fries. I had to turn around and go back into the drive through because there is no parking available. Waited again and another chick gave me attitude like if it was my fault they messed up. By the time I got home my fries were cold and burgers had soggy buns. I called to speak to a manager and he refused to speak to me because the female with attitude told him in Spanish I was complaining. I will not go back and do not reccomend it. So my dad has been trying to go to this place for months cause he had it a year or so ago and thought it was divine but whenever we remember they're always closed but not today! So he goes while I'm still out and I had gotten a garden burger and it was really good! I honestly didn't really have high expectations but it was top notch! Since I wasn't home to consume it right away he had everything put on the side and the container was loaded with lettuce, tomato, and onions. They also put a side of their sauce and I loved it. The only reason I'm not giving them 4 stars is because my dad said his burger was extremely under-seasoned and they left out my moms onion rings. Other then that, it was good. I've been a weekly visitor to Tom's Place over the past few months, thanks to it (1) being open at 7am, and (2) providing a consistently solid breakfast. It's never busy when I arrive, and the sights and sounds of the first rounds of bacon and potatoes getting cooked up is enough to jumpstart your day. The breakfast burritos are no joke here, and are enough for two meals or one meal plus a nap right afterward. Prices aren't the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for, and the salsa provided on the side really kicks the burrito up a notch in my book. Coffee is the standard diner variety, which is charming to me but might be disappointing to you. I haven't strayed from my burrito+coffee order, but the breakfast menu is pretty expansive, including different sandwiches and platters featuring morning staples. Plus, Tom's Place is a clean one, at least in the morning. With parking in the back and good food inside, it's a fuss-free routine for me, and I'm very glad to patronize it! read more

On the other hand closing time was approaching, so with all the running around she was doing it just might have been a bit too much multitasking. Hungry on my way home from work I decided to drive thru. I have lived one block away for the past 18 years and have eaten there occasionally for as long. I ordered a burger and was watching the cook prepare it from the drive thru. This guy was gathering all the dirty dishes and all of the filthy things a kitchen has to be washed and was handling my food with the same disgusting gloves. I drive past this place a lot and never really thought about going here but I had some time and decided to give this place a try since they had pretty good reviews. Judging from the pics I decided to get their Tom's value combo and chili cheese burger from the two times I went and I have to say they both were juicy, fresh and didn't break the bank at all. The service here is friendly and quick while the food comes at at an decent time. The only downside about this place is they literally have less than 12 parking spaces. Literally overnight, this has become my favorite little "neighborhood burger/snack joint" . TK burgers used to exist at the end of my street -- i cried when they folded tents and left us....i LOATHE in-n-out, it's disgusting and their fries taste like paper-machè . McDonalds ? Hah! Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time! My boyfriend decided to take me here to get one since he loves going here. I've heard before that this place has excellent hamburgers and breakfast so I was excited to sink my teeth into something good. As our food arrived, I was surprised to see how huge the burrito was.
