This used to be one of the best in old school restaurants- so sad how things have changed food quality and service is horrible the recent price increase in the menu is so far out of line you can't expect customers to accept we will not tolerate gouging in the air of having to pay employees the last minimum wage increase. Although the food was pretty good, the experience after the meal fell very short. Our card was charged THREE times for the exact same amount as they told us they were having issues with their card machine. We called to address this, and were told by an Aubrey that all we needed to do was come in and someone would get us taken care of. We came in a few days later with a printed statement showing that our funds were being held for over a week (an additional $50 more than what our order actually was) and the "manager" was very rude and very quickly told us they could not do anything we had to speak to the owners but she knew the credit card machine had been messing up and charging other people multiple times as well. She talked down to us and made us feel so stupid for even coming in after we were told to do so. Never once did they offer to comp anything just kept repeating "I literally cant do anything". I asked to have the owners call me as apparently they were the only ones who could do anything for us and was never contacted after leaving my information. Overall a horrible experience which is sad because we did enjoy the food and it was a cute little date night place. I will probably never return after being made to feel stupid about needing our $50 refunded. The staff is most definitely lacking customer service experience overall because even the cashier just looked at us when we explained the situation and yelled for "manager" Ashley to come here. Don't give someone the title of manager if they don't have any real authority to comp a meal or refund customers. read more

I came across Top Burger in the late 90's while searching for real estate to buy. I said to my kids at the time ( 4,6, and 8) this looks like a good greasy burger place. Of course the burgers were not greasy, but the name stuck. Our family enjoyed our trips out to Top Burger 6 or 8 times a year since we now live in Salmon Creek. Top Burger was closed for sometime, for renovation and I presume new ownership. The menu has changed, they no longer have the "meals". I always had the Top Burger meal and upgraded to the shake of the month for around $5. Now it is all priced separately and much more expensive. Our shakes did not arrive until after our food...we had always enjoyed our shakes while waiting for our food. Maybe it was a one time bad experience for us, but we will not go back. We drove right on by this afternoon, as my daughter now 17 said, "oh forget it, it's not the same". read more

As a local, I go to Top Burger quite a bit, maybe 1-2 times a month. It's definitely my favorite local burger place and great to get ice cream or a milkshake too! I'm a big fan of chicken so I always order the chicken strips which are very good, plus I get a small fry because their fries are perfectly seasoned. I also like getting a milkshake or soft serve ice cream occasionally. They also have regular ice cream as well! The milkshakes range in flavors from classics to a pumpkin option and Nutella! My family has been there several times and the food is always perfect. I almost always order the "super burger" and it is a BIG burger.... The only complaint that I have with the drive-in is the service. They always get my order right but it seems that they are all college students, and not very professional when it comes to helping. They are never rude or anything like that, but dedicating your service to the customer should be number one!!! All in all, great food and a great location! We will definitely be back!!! read more

best fries in town.. there's a reason this place is always busy. the burgers/chicken strips are good, the seasoned fries and ice cream/shakes are great.. i had the jalapeño bacon burger. (pickled jalapeños, I would prefer fresh) basket of fries for my family to share and a blackberry shake. my wife and kids had regular hamburger and cheese burgers, they really enjoyed them. the wife had mint chip cone, and son had cotton candy cone. I heard no complaints from anyone. right across the street from a park, they have small diner seating ( think about 10 booths) a few outside tables with a walk up window and a small drive-thru. read more

Top burger is great overall and we go there all the time. But on one particular evening we decided to go get some shakes and ice cream. We pulled up 7 min to 9 and we saw people inside and became hopeful. Now keep in mind we have come close to closing time before and they stayed open. We became very disappointed to find that the close sign was up and the open lights were off. But as we were pulling away we saw a car pull up and was served. Very disappointed. read more

Top Burger is IT! Camas/Washougal has so many good burger places, and Top Burger is one of them! They were the first to put seasoning on their fries, and they are so tasty! First off the employees were very nice and they were great employees but I am giving this place such a bad review because their manager was a real jerk! This was my first time ever there and I ordered a meal which said on the menu that it included a drink and fries. Well they forgot to give my friend and I fries so we mentioned that and the manager went off on us saying it was our fault and we never paid for them. I'm sorry I paid $8 and didn't get the fries I ordered but to accuse us is very unprofessional. And then he angrily told us to tell him which employee took our order so he could "take her in the back" as he put it. It was obvious it was her first week because she was having issues with the cash register so we felt bad for her. They take vanilla ice cream and add tons of chocolate syrup. It's way too sweet. Not only was it undrinkable because of the sweet factor, it was literally undrinkable by straw. We used to eat here often, almost every weekend. The food was great. About a year and a half ago that all changed. Several times we were served cold burgers and there was a guy cooking in the kitchen wearing a tanktop with his underarm hair hanging out while standing over the cooktop. We haven't been back since. Stopped in expecting an amazing burger, and I was quite disappointed. Made a to-go order and it was a bit too expensive considering that the combos included only a SMALL fries and a SMALL drink. But I thought, "hey, good food is totally worth it, right?". So I waited patiently for my order and it was instantly a completely uncomfortable atmosphere. I do not know how ANYone can sit inside that place and enjoy their food (even if it was actually good), the lady that was working the drive thru was yelling so loud as she was taking orders, amongst all the other noise coming from the kitchen/employees. The only good thing about this place was the fast service, my food came fairly quickly and when it did, I couldn't wait to get out!!!! lol Took my food home and was so excited to eat this (supposedly) amazing burger. Got my kids the Junior Burger and Top Burger w/ cheese, and got myself the Maui Burger. I picked up mine and it was literally dripping grease, or whatever it was, down my hand. I had to eat it fast because it was already pretty soggy. The burger was so ridiculously greasy that it was so unpleasant to eat and forget about setting it down, it kept falling apart every time it did so I had to hold it without setting it down until about halfway through I finally gave up and just threw it in the trash. Both my kids said their bread and lettuce was soggy. I wouldn't have added the 'combo' (fries and drinks) to any of these orders if I knew the fries were just going to be soggy and tasted old! Ew. Just because you sprinkle some seasoning on your fries does not substitute the fact that they are disgusting, low-quality fries. The only thing that I enjoyed was the Tropicana Lemonade, although they obviously don't get credit for that. lol Gave one star for fast service, but literally EVERYTHING about this place is a joke. The one star is for the milkshake that we miraculously finally got, despite the young girl in braids attempting many times to deliver it to the wrong table. She also misdelivered our food order immediately after that. She proceeded to throw packets of mayo at someone in our party. When she was asked if she could please provide the mayo in a small container (like another member of my party had), the reply was "we don't do that here". Um, you most certainly do because the meal that you misdelivered has a small container of mayo with it. Then out of the blue, she shows up with a duplicate order of milkshakes that we didn't order & says "I'm so sorry, that was my fault" & runs off. Was this an apology for the flying mayo? Does she think she didn't deliver our shakes already? We have no idea. But, yay, free stuff! The burgers were gross and SPENDY, the fries over seasoned. food was good, forgot my 5 dollar milk shake 2 times in a row now. 1st time was told I could come back and get one. I could let my dinner get cold and get my milkshake or forget it. Second time was last night. I called 4 times and no one even answered the phone. 8 PM on Wednesday night. Called Thursday to talk with the owner, she was on the other line but would call me back. That was at 12:15 and it's now 4. I guess too busy to worry about answering the phone or customer service. I used to love this place when I was in high school. I stopped by last night with my family to grab dinner and was so disappointed with the service and probably won't be going back. We ordered teen burger combo meal with a side of onion rings. We repeated that we wanted the combo with fries and a side of onion rings 4 times. The girl in the window repeated the order back to us with onion rings twice. We also ordered a milk shake with butter finger and coconut. We went through the drive thru and had to wait 20 minutes for our food. When it finally came out to us, there were no onion rings, thankfully we weren't charged but when I questioned the girl about it she told me I could go back in a buy some completely disregarding the fact that we told her 4 times and she repeated it 2 times and we already waited 20 minutes. All she offered was a rush on the onion rings if we went in and purchased them. Our milk shake had no butter-finger flavor in it, only coconut. We received no sauces we had asked for, no napkins for a drive thru order, the French fries were stale and our burgers were only so-so. Honestly for what I paid to go there I would have rather paid the extra $10 to go to Red Robin. read more

My first time visiting this place. It was recommended to me. I had a jr. burger basket with tots and a diet pepsi. My friend's food came fast...we didn't have a chance to sit down before her order was handed to her at the counter. She ordered a top burger with cheese and fries. My food came after another person's order came up. Not sure how that happened as he was behind me and all I ordered was a well done with tots. 3.5, but promising. A minor tweak will really make it "top". They advertise their milkshakes quite prominently at the order window, and the group of us did order, very excitedly. What we got was good, but lacking what makes a great milkshake, particularly those that have some sort of solid additive like Oreos, Graham Crackers, brownies, etc. are actual chunks of goodness! Instead, what you have is a swirled and whirled ice cream in a cup with the topping(s) obliterated. So the flavor is there, but the texture is lacking. The locals raved about the fries but aside from being nicely fried, they added a seasoning salt (probably Lawry's). The basic burger with cheese is somewhere between McDonald's and In-And-Out. So if they would leave some bits and pieces in their milkshakes, that would perhaps be revolutionary for their business, but they get lots of business anyway, as it stands, it seems. Ive been coming here for years however tonights experience was horrible. Not only did they take 20 min to make my order, they messed the order up. I ordered a philly cheese steak with peppers. When I got home with my order no peppers just meat and cheese. How in the world can you call this a philly cheese steak and charge 6.99 for it. I took the meat off and squeezed the bun and watched the butter drip off. TOTALY DISGUSTING!!!!! I called to complain and the girl that answered talked to the manager and was going back and forth and saying well there must have been a misunderstanding. I finally told the girl to put the manager on the phone and the manager plainly said that she would not do anything to fix it. I told her I would never go there again and I would wright a review and she said go ahead. SO here you go, BAD SERVICE and you will never get my business again!!!!! Ive worked retail and customer service for 20 years and never have I seen such bad customer service. So unless you are looking for a long wait, bad food and poor customer service you should NEVER come to this place. read more
