Very disappointed in the take out service. Every time we order take out its either wrong or they left something out. I've written in the past about how they make these mistakes. This will be the last time we order to go from this location. It's a very simple concept, look at the order, check the order and seal the package. Absolutely amazing! Ordered the food was a breeze, the wait for the order didn't take more than 10 minutes for dine in, AND the food was amazing. Strongly recommend coming here and ordering the "tipsy chick", hillbilly queso, and the strawberry dragonfruit juice. The restrooms were nice and clean. The service and ambiance were top notch! I'm not sure why this particular location seems to be the lowest rated Torchy's in DFW since I can't imagine the food is much different from one to another but who knows. All I know is, after two visits, I am a fan. Highlights: Green Chile Queso and Chips - A MUST. I could drink that damn queso. And the chips are thin/crisp and flavorful without being too salty. Baja Shrimp - not bad, but it's hard to live up to SoCal fish or shrimp tacos! Brushfire - delicious chicken and I loved the diablo sauce, which was genuinely fiery. Beef Fajita - stuffed full of well seasoned beef and toppings, would definitely get this one again. The Republican - a whole sausage link on a taco! Haha. Genius. I loved this and the poblano sauce on top was perfect. Trailer Park - THE BEST. I will be getting this on all future visits. SO GOOD. Made even more amazing hillbilly style (topped with bacon and chorizo). I also spooned a bit of queso and poblano sauce on this one and just, wow. Service is decent. Not everyone seems fully engaged or responsive, but they suffice. I do think the prices are kind of high. Four tacos, chips and queso, and one soda for $27 feels like a bit much, but even that won't stop me from coming back from time to time. read more

Unfortunately, I've had bad experience at this location. I've been here 5 times. The person taking my order never smiles. One visit, I had to wait forever for anyone to even come take my order. Today my taco was cold and the avocado was kind of brown. My last visit, the person delivering the food walked right by me 5 times with my food and couldn't find me until I said something. Casa Linda Torchy's is not following guidelines to prevent coronavirus. We are in a surge again and the flippancy at this place was horrifying. This store is exactly how the virus spreads. The employees who are wearing masks and being safe deserve better than others not being safe and they deserve better than the poor management here. I made an online order and the bartendar that checked my order was keeping her bandana around her chin - briefly puts it back on then goes back to the chin. She told me to wait with a number and almost 20 min later (past the time my food should have been brought to me) I got back in line to find out what was wrong because two other orders made after me were served before me. It had been sitting there the whole time. I would have felt more comfortable moving around to check if it were not for the number of customers wandering around without masks on, coming in, walking all around walking out - no masks. And staff with bandanas around chins, another employee seemed to come in very briefly - waited to put his mask on after getting in rather than before. A guy sat by me to wait for his order, then took his mask off. This is what happens when your staff does not wear or enforce them - it sends a signal. It was too crowded, not social distanced well, customers feel comfortable walking in and out and around the store without masks. This is all about how the place is run and the example the staff sets and expects. I have to wear my mask at work too - we all get the strain but in a surge, everyone needs to just do the right thing. Because I had to figure out what was up with my food and got it almost 20 minutes late - I missed almost half of an event and did not have time to eat before. Now I'm having to waste time writing this. The irresponsibility of this store in the face of a raging epidemic is really unnerving. Taiwan has not had a case of the virus in over 200 days - because they followed the rules. I have immune compromised loved ones and loved ones who have worked in the ER and gotten the virus. It's maddening to see a place like this Torchy's being so much the problem. What I saw in this restaurant is exactly why and how the virus spreads. I should not have to waste my time writing something like this after this screwed up part of my afternoon. But your employees deserve better too. There were many employees following guidelines and rules. The two young women behind the counter were wearing their masks and acting appropriately - they should not be compromised by lack of rules enforced. read more

Came in on a Sunday to get some tacos to go. Immediately noticed on weekends they have drink specials ALL DAY! $3.50 bloody Mary's, mimosa, tequila sunrises, and sangria. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a bloody that was made so well by the amazing bartender on duty! She was super quick and seemed to really know how to make a damn good cocktail. My 4 stars stems that we waited about 30-40 mins for our to-go food to even be prepared. We checked on it once while we were still sipping our drinks about 20 minutes in, by the time we had finished our bloodies, used the restroom and sat for a few minutes it was too much. Customers who were sitting down for their meals after us were getting their meals before us! The staff was super friendly but it just didn't seem like they had a system in place for to-go order as they had a line of people waiting to place their orders and 1 of the 2 cashiers would have to leave to the kitchen to check on all to-go orders. Love Torchy's in Casa Linda. Their breakfast burritos are incredible!! Super loaded and always fresh ingredients. I think they serve breakfast all day which is also amazing! I also love their lunch and dinner tacos. Their queso, guac and special sauces are great and they have a large selection to choose. I love making the taco's "trashy" which adds more fresh seasonings and toppings. Their margaritas are good as well. I usually order through Door Dash when I'm feeling lazy and don't want to get dressed and it's always still super hot and fresh upon arrival. It can be a bit busier dining in and also I've noticed wait times are a bit longer if you order and wait for take out. I recommend saving time and using Door Dash to pick up or deliver. read more
