I've been really excited to torme hadn't had have the chance until last night. I was very pleased with the food and service. I made sure to call a few nights in advance for a reservation. When I spoke to the host she said if you didn't get a reservation wait times can be close to an hour. So be sure to call ahead. We got there a little bit early and were able to grab a drink at the bar and enjoy it on the front patio until our table was called. Our server was very friendly and offered great suggestions. I ordered the antipasto salad (forgot to get a picture) and the large ravioli while my friend ordered the chicken and pasta dish. My friend said she really enjoyed her meal. I had a small taste and also thought it was very yummy. As far as my food I thought it was extremely delicious. Serving portions were rather large so I had lunch the next day. I loved all the large roasted vegetables and the oversized croutons. I would definitely order my meal again. This place doesn't have a very robust alcohol selection. No specialty cocktails and only a few beers. I enjoyed their wine so lack of alcohol options didn't bother me too much. One thing I found weird was that I was told I could come early and if our table was ready we would be seated. So we decided to get there about 20 minutes early and enjoy a drink while we waited. We noticed a few empty tables but didn't think much of it. Finally at the time of our reservation they sat us and they sat us in one of the tables that had been empty the whole time. So I just thought it was weird they said they would seat us early if the table was ready and it was but they didn't seat us. Overall great place to grab some yummy food. The menu had so many great options I can't wait to come back to explore the rest of the menu and grab a meal on the open patio during summer! read more

Let's be clear about this. 33 years ago when I began my career before I opened 8 restaurants and traveled the world I would cook pasta for other people Al Dente. But I personally never liked it. If you Google it the fist thing you see is it says pasta should be cooked that way. WRONG! Fresh pasta should never be cooked Al Dente. And dried pasta should be cooked al Dente so it can finish in the sauce cooked all the way through. Just not mushy. This place is cute and they put a lot of time and love into it. Just do some more research. And eat what you cook on a regular basis. If you don't like it chances are others aren't. And Prescott reviews are very nice I have noticed. My Ravioli could have been fantastic. The sauce was a bit watery but flavorful. But the pasta was still chewy on the edges. Almost like they didn't put it In a water bath before serving it and just tried to cook it in the sauce. But the sauce being thin seemed as if they didn't drain all the water off the water bath. So I will say cute, good service, good bread. To much kale and undercooked pasta and watery sauce. I will come back and try again. This is simply a lesson from Someone who has cooked and made a lot of pasta and gravy. Just Google fresh pasta. It even says not to cook Al Dente. And I can tell you Italians don't eat their pasta that way. read more

Disappointed. Setting could be charming and cozy, but is old and jammed. The tables are too small and too close together in an old house with poorly done remodel. The pretentious young waitress looked down her nose at us with affected superior attitude. The food was way overseasoned. My Caesar salad had so much garlicy dressing dripping off every forkful it left my mouth burning. The ample lamb chops were drowned with a chutney or salsa-like cover that completely overwhelmed the plate. The scallops were served on a bed of pasta which was also drowned, in a brownish sauce of some kind. Not a repeat. read more

After many nice meals there we decided to take out of town friends there for one birthday dinner. It was the worst meal and service we have ever seen here in our home town. Scallops were inedible. It started raining and all other customers were provided umbrellas. After repeated requests, we were finally give umbrellas but we paid and left soaked. Our friend with the birthday was ignored. Needless to say we will never go back there and discourage anyone who asks an out that place. read more

It was the best scallops I've tasted!!! The sage & brown butter gave the great flavor! We also ordered Today's Special Pistachio nuts crushed Halibut. It came with a salad too. Great service but the food isn't the best. I had the ravioli (1pcs) $12 I could have broke a tooth trying to eat the crostini! Also had the pasta (chicken) $17 too al dente and VERY plain.. you know it's not so great when you are reaching for the salt & pepper. read more

The food is just not great. Most of the flavors were very muted and unimpressive. Every dish on the menu seems to have a million ingredients, and yet none of them have any flavor. The service was fine, although me and my girlfriend were definitely the youngest customers there, and our server did not seem too thrilled about that. I guess going to nice restaurants in Prescott is reserved for only retirees. Overall I paid about $80 for two people, without dessert or alcohol, and would have honestly had a better meal if I had just gone to Olive Garden. read more

It may have been an off night but I didn't enjoy the namesake Steak Torme. Beef tenderloin should be tender unlike mine. Again, might be an off night. The appetizer we ordered had olives, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and croutons. The croutons were so tough you couldn't cut with a knife and too big for one bite so those were not eaten. The service was great, no problems there. I just feel $120 for two and then not love the meal was a huge bummer. I'm giving 3 stars for service otherwise it would be a 2 read more

Great local Prescott restaurant for lunch. No Friday nights or weekends. Small, intimate restaurant. Friendly staff. Had the Halibut/pasta special and it was really good. Friend had the salmon/pasta dish and they enjoyed it. Price reasonable for the quality of the food. 67 degrees outside, but restaurant got pretty hot when it filled up. Several tables extremely close to each other. Overall, a great lunch spot and I highly recommend! read more

Our first time at Torme's was last night. It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to try somewhere fresh and new. And although friends that have went had mixed reviews, this is what we found. To start with there's not any parking and we had to park in the Fry's parking lot where the sign said Fry's parking only! Then, our reservations were for 5:30 PM indoors and we were told the rest of the seats indoors that were empty were for larger parties and there would be a pretty good wait. The only thing available was outside and the rain just finished outside. Honestly, I don't believe there was even a spot to wait if we wanted to wait for indoors so we sat outdoors and the ants two different types very large and small were on the ground all over flying bugs in the air in our drinks. Not a happy first impression. The fresh bread and cheese spread was absolutely amazing. My wife and I had oysters and two different pasta dishes and the food was very good. Almost all of the seats outside had padding however, some reason we had hard very uncomfortable chairs. Barry has a good idea with the menu definitely needs to get the facility figured out. Not comfortable having my feet up in the air, worried about ants, climbing up my feet. read more

Had lunch at Torme today with a friend. We both ordered the Shells Fumo con Gombero, it was incredible! It included several large shrimp, perhaps the best I have ever enjoyed. The waiter was perfectly attentive and the herb bread with boursin cheese and carrot slaw was a delight. Owner Barry Barbe stopped by every table to say hello. Barry is an incredible gift to Prescott in many ways. Portions were enormous and the price was reasonable. Be sure to make a reservation for lunch or dinner soon! read more

Our service was sub-par from the beginning. From being told the wait to sit inside was 15 minutes, but outside was no wait. So we asked to sit outside, just to wait 15 minutes.... The host seemed uninterested in offering an explanation or apology. The server was a whole other story. She knew nothing about her menu, and was constantly forgetting about us. We had ordered wine, waited for 10 minutes: realizing she was never going to bring us the wine. Which we then asked another server to bring the wine. It's okay to make mistakes, but she was not even acknowledging her mistakes nor apologizing. To move on when the food actually got there i had asked for Parmesan, just for her to forget again, and when I proceeded to walk inside for assistance she was chatting it up on instagram talking to another server; and again another server came to help. With zero apology from the waitress. The food was bland and had way to much oil. Cute little place if they figure out the servers and the food. read more

This place is amazing. 1st of all - it's incredible what Barry did ARCHITECHTURALLY to this place. It's so beautiful and BIG and mellow and just downright lovely. By far and away the best restaurant in Prescott. Fresh made from scratch pasta, sauces, breads and desserts. We had the scallops and ravioli appetizers and they were outstanding. For main course basil tortellini and salmon spinach fettuccine. We enjoyed both and enjoyed the explosion of flavors and freshness. 4 of us had dinner on Friday. The food was good. I ordered the scallops and bumped it up to an entree with 4 scallops. For $38 dollars I think the the scallops could have been free of the sand/grit. My husband and I had dinner at Torme on Friday to celebrate his birthday. We had been there a year ago, dined on the patio and the food was delicious . We were excited to come back to the restaurant to celebrate. It was so disappointing. The food was below average for an upscale restaurant. We do not mind paying a higher price for a quality meal but this was not one of them. We ate inside the restaurant this time because of the cooler weather. This is difficult for me to write this review because the owner is very generous to our community. However, it is important that he understands what patrons are experiencing. I had the smoked Gouda pasta with huge shrimp that was really yummy and too much to finish, but now I have lunch tomorrow. Hubby had the Pasta Pizzaiola and the homemade sausage had perfect spices. Have been to Torme several times and have never been disappointed. My husband and I both enjoy the amazing dinner and lunch options there. We also love the beautiful patio option they have. Yesterday we went to dinner there for my birthday. We had reservations and surprised that they seated us in a party tent out on the patio. We were concerned about being in a tent when it was freezing outside, but found the tent to be warm, cozy, private, and the Christmas decorations created a beautiful atmosphere. We had an early dinner reservation and ended up having the tent to ourselves for most of the meal. We had a relaxing, peaceful and delicious dinner. All four of us in our party had a great time dining and celebrating. The server we had was wonderful, accommodating, and professional. The whole team there is fantastic. read more

Unfortunately I have to change my review. The reason is not related to food but the bad experience. 12/14/22 my wife and I went to dinner at 6:40 pm, we sat outside. Helper served us with water and bread. The server were serving two tables only. She passed by more than 50 times and never acknowledged that we are sitting there waiting. Never asked if we needed something else besides water. We were very patient until 7:06 pm, we decided to leave after this really bad experience to somewhere else. read more
