I am the kind of person that leaves a bag of dry cleaning to pile up for a month or even way more until I finally remember "oh wow there's this place I walk by in my neighborhood I could literally just drop this off at!" So there we go. Finally remembered and did it. Location right on York. Old, old school spot. Like stepping back in time. But it's cheap and my clothes are clean. A few days turn around, they seem to do the work in house. Cash only. If you don't need to be wined and dined for your dry cleaning (lol) and just need to get in and drop off, this is the spot. I think prices were $5 for my blouses and sweaters, $10 for dresses, I think $ 5 for men's trousers but not 100% sure. Again, bring cash! read more

I took 3 pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed only to receive them back still MUCH too long. I then took the pants back to see if the cleaners would work with me to fix them (so I could get the results I asked for in the first place). The woman tried to charge me AGAIN for the hemming, same price as the first time. When I questioned her multiple times about why she expects me to pay $30 PER PANT for simple hemming, she just stared at me with a smile saying she knows it's expensive but there's no choice. Total rip-off. There wasn't an ounce of compassion, accountability or willingness to help me out. Really disappointing customer service and overall experience. I took my pants and left. Like most people, I work most of the day. So taking time to stop by the cleaners isn't always available. Of course, I have a big event tonight and my suit is completely wrinkled. Should be no problem to stop by the cleaners and get it pressed in a jiff. Right?? Wrong. What most cleaners don't tell you is that they shut everything down and send everyone home hours before closing (7:00pm close means they effectively stop cleaning at 3:30). So, stressed and annoyed, I called these cleaners as a last ditch effort. Their answer?? "Sure! No problem!". A very pleasant elderly woman greeted me with a big smile, took my suit and told me to wait 20 minutes. Perfect time to grab a quick beer across the street and pick up some cash for my suit. Bonus, I now have a regular cleaners that I will use. Yes, folks. Customer service is alive and well here in HLP. read more

Nice, hardworking people and throwback prices. There have been times where they didn't even charge me for simple fixes like sewing a button back on a dress shirt. I was ready to pay! I've read some of the bad reviews on this place, and it's unfortunate. They're a mom-and-pop shop, underpriced in an overpriced area, aim to please, but mistakes can happen sometimes. It's never personally happened to me here, but at least, here, they acknowledge the mistakes and try to correct them. Other places won't even do that. Props for their hustle. read more

This place is definitely a no frills place. They are so nice and I have never had a problem with my clothes . They always come back clean and properly pressed. I try to go to an environmentally friendly cleaner but it costs a fortune and I don't have that kind of money. Total Dry Clean Com is a great neighborhood place I can walk to. What keeps me coming back is their great service and friendliness. I'm so happy I found them. The prices are really great too. I love this place. I used to hate going to the dry cleaners because of the costs, but since I've found this place, I have been dry cleaning my wool sweaters and silk blouses more regularly. They damaged an ornate Korean robe. A few OBVIOUS tears that cannot be fixed. The robe is irreplaceable. I also found the damage after I returned home. I went back to complain. The woman manning the store could only offer an apology. read more

This place is great - I brought in multiple Brookes Brothers sweaters that had some small holes in them and I only paid for them to be dry cleaned but the guy ended up expertly sewing them up and the sweaters look better than ever! This is the best place - note, it's cash only. read more

I am a pretty forgiving person. It takes a lot for me to reach the point where I decide to never go to an establishment and I have reached it here. I have been going here for almost a year and have had a number of issues: 1) They lost the belt on a dress. It was not a loose belt through a couple loops - it passes through long tunnels(?) of fabric like a drawstring. Point is, it doesn't fall out/off easily. They eventually found it, so I let it go. 2) When said belt was eventually found, the metal buckle was dented. I figured it was accidental - although I began to carefully take out this belt whenever I took this dress in for cleaning. 3) They broke the snap on a dress. They were willing to fix it for free, so I gave them another pass. 4) When they fixed this broken snap, the replaced part did not fit/snap into the part that was still there. They did not even try out what they were putting in! When I returned the dress, they fixed this for free. 5) I have picked up a black dress with whitish stuff on it, but it came off on second cleaning. 6) My most recent grievance, which became the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, is that they stained my lovely J.Mendel white blouse. I noticed the stain (which wasn't there before) the second I picked up the top - it's a layered front top and the black (ink? dye?) stain was on the inner layer. They insist that the stain was there when I brought the top in, but it wasn't. I wasn't asking for a refund nor was I expecting them to replace/pay for the top. I have nothing to gain by lying about the stain being new. How I would get a stain on an inner layer but not the top layer (all without ever noticing it even when I looked through it to mark where they should clean specially) I have no idea. I like that they are cheap, nice and willing to fix their mistakes, but from my dealings with them, it is clear that they are not careful. They make way too many mistakes. I had already decided not to take any really nice or irreplaceable garments to them again but after that last problem with the white shirt, I'm just going to take my business elsewhere altogether. read more

Peter has being my guy since day one, I went to various location but the one I favor the one is here. Most of you don't know that this place is actually headquarters for other small dry cleaner businesses so yes that place you call your spot is actually being prepared here with my man peter. I leave and trust Peter and his crew with my uniforms which are very important in my line of work where It must be cleaned and military pressed and they always come back brand new. For those that say they had several items damaged or destroyed it's pretty much because their leaving him vintage old clothes which in due time will be destroyed by the machines they use that is on them and not on this location. read more

I've been giving my business to this place for over 30 years. I recently took a pair of brand new Levi's to get hemmed and received them back with one leg longer than the other. Not a problem. I figured I would take them and have them gladly fixed, but it turns out that wasn't the case. The lady pulls out her measuring tape and try's to show me that there's no mistake. Note, that now I've taken my valuable time to go handle this problem. She keeps insisting there's nothing wrong. Now I 'm getting upset! Now I decide to cut out all the unnecessary back and forth and go to the dressing room to put the pants on,so that she can physically see the problem. She keeps taking measurements but finally see's the problem. She decides to tell me that she'll fix them, which I'm fine with. The ender was she told me " You No complain next time."
