This was the first time taking my kia k5 to a dealership in years and it was the most horrible experience. I left my vehicle on a Thursday for maintenance and two recalls i wasn't offered a loaner due to the job not being big. The next two days were met with unexpected delays on parts that progressed into my vehicle being held for a week and two days at the dealership. I even let them hold it for one more day to get paid for warranty job (Asked by my service advisor) i agreed only to get my vehicle back with nearly no gas and a part scraping the road as if someone took a joy ride in my vehicle. I was offered a discount on said part but was never called again or givin a survey report on my experience which was terrible i will never return to towbin kia. I'm convinced these people don't really want to sell cars, either that or they're intimidated by people who come in here fully aware of all the shady fees they're going to try to sneak into your vehicle purchase. In all my experiences with car dealerships, this place has to be one of the absolute worst in communication and misrepresentation. Let's assume you've found a car you like. You let them run your credit. Your salesperson goes up to the magic desk with some guy who is too cool to deal with you, so your salesperson morphs into a messenger. They return with the itemized breakdown sheet showing various down payment options and payment plans. Whatever you do, do not accept this deal, this initial offering is in their favor. Start looking at the addons that are stuck onto this sheet: The $500 "GPS Tracking" fee that is stuck onto your new car, have them remove the fee, or walk. The ability to track your car, remote start, etc via this device requires a separate paid subscription - and you may not be told this. You're paying for a device that requires a yearly payment to use that you might not even want. The "Desert Package" they will throw on for 4k? It's a sham. Have them remove it or walk. Another $1,000 for "Polysteel". Google it. It's a total rip-off. Have them remove it or walk. "Red Alert", $700 addon. Again, Google it, it is a blinking rear tail light. Remove or walk. Watch out for them to sneak in the extended service contracts and GAP. That car that you thought was $25k is suddenly closer to $37k. If they don't negotiate, LEAVE and go to a different dealership. If you let them dictate the terms, you're going to get taken for a ride. *edit* Along with the public response from Alicia I did receive a private message as well which at least shows they're trying to improve. I have already purchased elsewhere but these addon shenanigans is not a big secret and not exclusive to this dealership. Do not succumb to the "what can we do to earn your business today?" line, if they ask this question, simply ask for 50% off otherwise you'll come back after you think it over. The longer it takes you to buy, the more time you have to do more research and make a SOUND decision, ** they don't want this **. At this point you haggle, get on the internet and search out each and every item they're sticking a price on that's increasing the vehicle price. Search every other Kia dealership's website not only in Vegas but in Arizona, Utah and California. Make them earn your business and be willing to go elsewhere if they won't. read more

They kept my car for three days. Little do they know. I can see when my car is unlocked started or moved. Well they should know working at a dealership. The third day I called to check on my car. Soon as he said he will check on it and call me back my vehicle moved. 3 miles to the body shop. For 30 mins. Called me and said it was ready. I even had TrueCar give me the numbers. The only thing missing on TrueCar was the residual value (65% for those wondering). I found a website that was able to give me all the numbers I wanted all while they had me sitting around for an hour 'working the numbers'. I was in Vegas visiting. I live in Reno. I have spent 2 years trying to get my 2018 Kia Soul's transmission fixed. Dolan Kia said they couldn't do anything until a trouble light came on. What bull! My car continued to have transmission issues. After checking the 3Kia dealers here, I decided to give Towbin Kia a chance. I met Ed Rocawich, Master Elite Service Consultant and told him my issues. We set a next day appointment. Later that appointment day, Ed called. The transmission needed to be replaced. He told me that he already called the extended warranty company and that my bill would be, my $50 deductible. I picked up the car today and my bill was $50. Ed is a great service asset for Towbin. As of April 9, 2025 I am pleased to announce that my treatment by the customer service department and upper management has been outstanding in the resolution, e.g. putting me in a new car that I am very please with. Certainly, it is vital that we consumers recognize a few things: (a) there are times when communications to management may become ambiguous as messages from a frustrated customer are conveyed up the line, (b) management may simply learn from a unique experience, and/or (c) intraoffice communications may result in capture of fodder for evaluation of facts and information not previously considered. I would like to believe that all of these metrics were in play in my particular case. Accordingly, out of consideration for the way I have been treated at this juncture, as well as my anticipation that treatment from here for me (and likely to others) will continue to be outstanding, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Additional comment: the service department consists of persons who impressed me beyond my expectations -- especially during the months of my frustration when Ed and others were clearly working to resolve issues with Kia, the manufacturer. Final comment: After having dealt closely now with three different sales representative (two during an initial sale and one during the more recent sale) I suggest that those sales persons learn the value of recognizing and saying hello, albeit briefly, to prior customers. I recently purchased a 2024 Telluride SX-Prestige X Pro. On my first visit I test drove the SX X Pro with the Prestige package. It was equipped with the digital rear view camera mirror and upgraded head liner. I didn't purchase on the initial visit. On my next visit I drove the SX X Pro without the Prestige option. After the test drive I asked about the one with the mirror and headliner upgrades and they told me that was the Prestige. The Prestige is the one I wanted and they brought it up front to see. I asked about all of the option differences between the two models. Salesman told me it was the mirror and headliner. I asked if there were any other differences, and was told there were not. We had the sticker from the SX X Pro in hand. I wasn't shown the sticker to the Prestige model, and continued with purchase. A big difference in the two models I drove is wheel and tire size. The initial sticker I looked at says 20" rims. The model I purchased has 18" rims. I was led to believe by the uninformed salesman that they both had 20" rims. I failed to check before purchase. While at Discount Tire to purchase a wider tire, they pointed out the 18" rims and I was surprised. I called the salesman and he went to work to see why my vehicle had 18" rims. Told him I wanted 20" rims. He called me back and said my model was supposed to have 20" rims. I asked if I were purchase a set if the dealer would reimburse and they take back the 18" rims. He called me back and said that he had cleared that and told me to move ahead with the purchase. I would have not made the purchase without the dealership giving me the go ahead. After the purchase, I was then informed that the standard model came with 20" rims but they added to/in place of, standard 18" rims. I kept all the correspondence telling me to how to handle the discrepancy. After telling me that they would make it right, they then told me they wouldn't. The salesman just wanted the sale. I know I should have paid closer attention to every detail and compared both stickers. That's on me. Trying to double check with the salesman, and him telling me to move ahead with the new rims/tires I believe is on the dealership. The dealership continued to say they would work something out. They won't. They screen calls and don't return calls. The typical dishonest and scamming stereotype attached to car salesman and dealerships applies when dealing with Towbin Kia. On 05/09/2024 I decided to look at the website "TowbinKia.com" to look for another vehicle to hopefully purchase and to trade in our currently "2021 Kia Niro FE/LX in Deep Cerulian". I entered my phone number onto the website and a Sales Representative named Evan called me to schedule an appointment for the next day on 05/10/2024 @ 8:00am. So, I spoke to my husband because, we were thinking of getting a bigger vehicle as having a little vehicle "Kia Niro FE/LX" wasn't sufficient with not enough space to take my dogs, luggages, walker (elderly), and ourselves. My husband and I went to the dealership at 8:00am and we spoke to Evan and he said that the original Sales person wasn't going to be there until later that day, so he gave us another sales person "Joseph Vargas as Lead Manager". You could approve on your ethical behavior. We purchased a Kia Niro EV and it won't charge properly. We have documentation for a year now. Kia service refuses to admit anything is wrong with it. We can't take this vehicle out of town because it takes over 30 hours to fully charge. My husband travels around town for work and can't do that many days because it doesn't charge or have enough miles on it. This company has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. We should have looked at that before we purchased from this company that rob's people. Stay AWAY from this company! 2023 Kia Carnival with 13,500 miles, purchased at Towbin Kia in Henderson Nevada. The silver on my outside handles is bubbling and coming off. The panel under the rear side window is cracking, You have to almost be standing on top of it for the fob to work. Towbin Kia refused to repair these issues obviously caused by poor quality workmanship and material. It also had 3 recalls already and the fuel system needed repaired. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Especially not a used one!!!! THEIR WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER ANYTHING!!!! I have a 2020 Kia optima, bought as a certified used car from this dealership. I went in here pregnant with a baby, looking for a RELIABLE car, due to me having a Hyundai (surprise they have the same engines now) and it breaking down due to engine failure. They sold me a piece of shit. 6m into me owning it the battery completely goes. Has to be replaced. Now I'm having issues with my engine, and have been since 54000 miles. The car was bought with 23000 miles on it, and only has 73000 on it currently. My car STOPPED ON THE HIGHWAY!!!! With my kids in the car, died. Check engine light came on. No oil in my car. Mind you I got an oil change a couple months ago and still needed about 2000 miles for another one. That was in 2024... They tell me bring it in, I do they just said it needs an oil change, and that's the response I got every time I brang that car in for an engine issue. It just needs oil. 2025 they do an oil test it comes back my car is burning 2 QTs oil per 1000 miles. Way more than it's supposed to. They talked to me about what my options were basically they do an engine tear down, and determine what is causing this issue. Awesome but it's 4000 dollars just for that and if the insurance deems it not a manufactured error and a driver error than you pay for all repairs including the tear down... they gave me 3 options, 1. Buy a new engine 2. Buy a used engine, or 3 put oil in my car every time I get gas. That's their solution, all on me to pay. They told me from the start they think it's the piston rings and they aren't covered under warranty. How is such a major part not covered? Because it's the main issue they have and they want to get out of replacing them. A 5 year old cars piston rings are worn and the cylinder wall is scorched... every oil change, recall and maintenance issue was done as THIS DEALERSHIP. Except 2 brake changes and 1 oil change that they ended up doing an oil change 3 weeks later to test the levels of my oil. So now they claim I'm at fault and these are driver error issues. Now I'm the one who has to do all the running around, calling Kia, calling Kia customer service, calling the insurance people. They say they'll get back to you and someone will call you like a manager, they never do. I have an extended warranty as well don't bother getting that it doesn't cover shit anyway!!! And you will have to do all the running around, and also will have to rent your own car, and pay for it, while still paying for a car that is currently in the shop, and has been for 30 days now, so you don't get a repo on your name. Don't waste your time. The biggest regret of my life is walking into that dealership. read more

I am absolutely disgusted with my experience at this place while the salesman was nice he must have thought I was an idiot. I walked in and said I was looking for a car between 20 and $25,000 the salesman said it would probably be best to get a new car so he can negotiate the price and have more wiggle room. So he showed me a Kia Forte. One was the sport one and it was a little bit out of my budget it was upwards 27,000. He advised me he probably couldn't get the payment that I wanted with the more expensive one and to go for it the cheaper one which was around 23,000. The first time he comes back he tells me they're going to give me 3000 for my car for a trade-in I told him I previously went to Honda and they offered me 6000 for the car so he comes back and says OK will give you 8600 for the car. That was a major red flag because that was a HUGE leap. They truly try to make it seem like I was getting a deal of a lifetime but in reality they just added the additional money they said they were willing to give me for the trade in- to the price of the vehicle I was going to purchase. A SCAMMMMMMM!!!!! So the vehicle went from 23,000 to 27,000. Anyway... The real kicker is at the end I was just kind of like you know what I'll take a car that's around $15,000 that you have on this lot you said you'll give me 8000 for my car and I will attach a picture below I said I was gonna put $2000 cash down so that's 10 grand so now I only have to finance $5000 right easy I'm thinking. This man looked me straight in the face and says to me you wouldn't get approved for that car "you need like a 720 credit score that's like what parents buy their kid for a first car" ... So you mean to tell me I just got approved for the Optima and for the forte but you're gonna sit here and say I'm just letting you know your approval rate is probably going to be very low for that like I was born yesterday. Let's be honest the truth is you said you would give me $8000 for my car even though you knew it really wasn't worth $8000.... but you thought you were gonna get one over on me by adding it into the price of the car like I wouldn't notice. Like WHAT? So when I switched up and said I wanted something cheaper ...that $8000 wasn't gonna work for you anymore and you were going to do whatever it took to make me feel like I would be an absolute idiot to even try to purchase a cheaper car cause It would have been a loss for y'all. read more

WOW! I can't say enough good things about my experience at Towbin Kia. After visiting all three Kia dealerships in Las Vegas, it became clear that Towbin Kia offers the best service, the best price, and the most outstanding team. I started my search at Towbin, where they gave me the best price upfront with zero hassle--but just to be sure, I visited the other dealerships. Not one of them could match the level of service or the price Towbin offered. Anthony, our sales guy, was phenomenal--truly patient, kind, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. His manager Abdul was just as professional and supportive. And to top it all off, we got to meet Jon, the corporate manager--possibly the nicest person I've met in years. If they ask if you want to meet Jon, say YES. I ended up buying a Kia Seltos (which gets a solid 30 MPG!), and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I would 100% go back to Towbin Kia and will be recommending anyone needing a car to stop at Towbin Kia--just for the experience alone. read more

**Update** A day after I posted my original review I received a phone call from Liz. She was very sincere and apologetic for not receiving my voicemails. Liz didn't understand what was taking so long with my registration check so she took it upon herself to get the check handled. Within a few days I was notified the check was at the front desk and could pick it up anytime. I went into Kia yesterday and met Liz. She felt so terrible that she also gave me her card with an offer to fill up my daughter's car with tank of gas. Liz thank you for reaching out and getting this misunderstanding fixed. read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT I used to like bringing my car to their service department but they have become too unreliable to use any longer. The last few times have been an aggravating experiences. You are lucky if you can make an appointment a month in advance. So when I do make an appointment for a simple oil change and you tell me two hours I really don't expect to wait 5 hours. If you call a service rep, they don't answer, and they don't call you back when you leave your number. If you have an emergency with your car good luck! You can drop it off and maybe they will get a chance to look at it in a week or more. They are too busy to handle my business so I have to stop bringing my car in until they expand and grow their business. It no longer makes sense for me. read more

They were very responsive when my wife made an inquiry through the internet. The Salesperson was gracious & willing to help... all we had to do was come in & get a vehicle. Fast forward... we come in... find the Salesperson... run through the "sales routine"... & now it's a different story. Fine! We took our money somewhere else & was approved, signed, & waiting for delivery in 3 hours! If you're not going to approve your clients, don't bother asking for them to come in! read more

The worst service I've ever experienced! They will try and squeeze you for money every time you bring your car there! They never figure out what the problem is. Every time I go it's a different issue although it's the same warning light that comes on the check engine light. Smh. They're liars and con artist. read more

Saw a Cadillac on CarGurus on 12/08 and fell in love ! Hannah contacted me and set up the financing deal immediately after confirming the vehicle I wanted and approved me and my mom. Went on down 12/09 and Hannah and Sina helped me and my mom a BUNCH, at 4pm and test drove the car, signed the paperwork all by 7pm ! Great customer service ! They provided complimentary fruit and checked in on us often and even sat and made conversation our whole stay. 5 stars awesome team, clean dealership, great used and new cars and excellent customer service ! They gave me his number and our story begins. I went down there and met him and his associates. A wonderful experience it was! I picked out my car, they detailed it, financed it quickly and I was ready to ring the celebratory gong in their showroom, The staff here was outgoing friendly and gave off a family experience. Had a great experience buying a new 2025 Sportage at Towbin Kia. My salesman Ronaldo M. was very professional and patient in the lengthy deal process; His product knowledge was a great benefit in helping decide the numerous options and price points available. After the sale is where Ronaldo really showed his commitment to customer service. With having no way of taking the new car home without making transportation arrangements he offered to complimentary deliver it to my home, although I live over 50 miles away.
